Being parents of two - 6 month old and 4 year old, I was pleased that Mr. Polonia was very considerate to our children by covering every surface to protect them from dust. He is also a father of toddlers and he came to our home on a Sunday working for hours to fix our electric problems. We appreciated that he prioritized our children's safety and convenience. We were also pleased by his professional service. He fixed our problems that our first contractor couldn't figure it out. He is knowledgable and skillful. He showed up on time every appointment. He communicated very clearly with us. His service and price was also reasonable. Most importantly he is honest. We thank Mr. Palonia for his excellent service and will be calling him again in the future. We will also recommend him to our friends. read more

I have used Maxi Electrical Power since 2014. Despite being built in 1989, my house relied on lamps and very few fixtures. Cesar has installed recess lights throughout the house as well as fans and 3 chandeliers. He's added 4 sconces and replaced fixtures and many outlets. He did the wiring to change 2 wood fireplaces into gas as well as the sauna we installed. The quality of his work is impeccable. He responds to requests and texts very quickly and performs the work in a timely fashion. He is reliable and personable and I recommend him highly. read more

Cesar is fantastic as others have said. My need was much simpler (just needed a few light switches replaced in my rental) and I got super lucky that he was in the area and had time to squeeze me in. Cesar Polonia and Maxi Electrical get my highest recommendation. Cesar was excellent to work with and really came through for us on a renovation wiring project. We were remodeling our basement, which likely had been done originally without a permit or inspection. The wiring was a mess and was actually costing us a lot of money the way the power was routed. Cesar worked with us to bring everything up to code and pass inspection. I have no electrical training, and Cesar took the time to walk me through what as needed, what could save us money, and how everything worked once it was all complete. He was extremely responsive and worked quickly. His pricing was very reasonable. I will be using Cesar for all of my electrical work going forward and recommending him to all my friends. It feels great knowing we found someone trustworthy who does excellent work. read more

Cannot say enough good things about Cesar and his son. Complete and total professionals who are great at what they do and incredibly reasonable. Had several projects including a large install. Both of them worked nonstop and were able to complete the projects on time and kept me in the loop throughout the process. During the initial consult, Cesar was able to diagnose and address an issue that could not be explained. He figured it out and addressed it immediately. Will certainly use Maxi Electrical for all needs in the future. read more

I highly recommend Cesar Polania and his company, Maxi Electrical Power. I have known Cesar for 17 years, he told me I was his first customer! At that time, he did the electric for our home remodel, upped our circuit Box to 220 amps, installed wired smoke detectors and installed GFI plugs. Most recently, he assisted me in checking off a list of contingencies for my upcoming home sale. He replaced a scorched wire and identified the cause. He insp the box and even walked with around the exterior of my home to insure the electric coming into the home was up to code. He worked me into his busy schedule, addressed the issues and prepared a summary write up of the work completed so that we could go into closing. Cesar is the upmost professional, conscientious and takes great pride in his work. As he should!! My only regret is that I'm leaving the area and I don't think he will be able to make service calls to Texas!! read more

I had a power outage in half the house including the heat and called Maxi Electrical. He told me he could come out right away but advised me to call Dominion as it sounded like something on the outside of the house. He was right, Dominion came out and there was a fried wire in the meter box. No other electrician I called gave me this advise and it saved me a lot of $ and time. Thank you for your honesty and professionalism, Cesar! read more

Cesar Polonia, the main electrician for this business, is FANTASTIC. I contacted him because of the high praise he was given on a neighborhood listserve, and I was not disappointed. He was able to meet me the next day to help fix an old wiring issue in my house. The wires were so old that when I went to change a light, the coating fell right off them leaving exposed wires. In addition, the wires were connected to additional lights in other rooms. When he came, he first thought he would have to cut into the ceiling at least 3 feet wide to pull out the wire, but after explaining my situation for the need of a quick turnaround, he went out of his way to avoid damaging the ceiling. He also was very tidy and extremely thorough at cleaning up after he and his partner were done. Cesar answered all my questions all the while being polite and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone who needed something simple or complex. Call or email: maxielectricalpower@gmail.com read more
