I was very impressed with the service. My pet peeve is dirty dishes sitting in front of people and that did not happen! The wedding cake was delicious. I definitely recommend Emily's for your next event.

They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

When I arrived, I could tell it was busy because there were many cars parked outside. It was pouring rain , but I found a spot and ran inside. They serve everything from sandwiches and grinders to pasta, wings, bread, cookies, wine, pasta salad and SO much more! It is a bit tight in there and it was hard to look at everything in the case because people were standing waiting for their food. I ordered a sandwich and mozzarella sticks. A few of the staff seemed grumpy. One girl was complaining loud enough for customers to hear and the lady that helped me seemed like she didn't want to be there. The wait time was a little long I thought considering how many people were working. The lady that rang me out was very nice. I thought the prices were really reasonable too. My sandwich was really good. I could tell that the deli meat was fresh. I grabbed fresh lemonade from the cooler and I'm so glad that I did. It was delicious!! I love lemonade. The service was also attentive and courteous. I think someone had commented that this is not a first date venue, but for a casual dining experience it will work. The decor is lively, with traditional music enhancing the ambiance, but not loud at all, so chatting it up is easy.

Over the years, I've vacationed in Mexico and worked for Big Sugar in Belle Glade, so I'm no stranger to authentic Mexican cuisine. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly "¡Hola!"--spoken w passion. Luckily, I know enough conversational Spanish to keep up, and I was seated near the front of the restaurant. The colorful menu practically told me what to order: Sopa de Camarones, Birria Tacos, and a fresh Jugo de Melón (watermelon juice). The waitress was incredibly welcoming and soon returned with a basket of warm tortilla chips and three kinds of salsa. That's when I knew--I had found the real deal. One salsa was mild, the second had a medium kick, and the third--an orange one--was pure fire . I laughed to myself and thought, "Yup, this is going to be good." And it was. All three salsas were absolutely delicious. Then came the food: a steaming bowl of shrimp soup and a plate of mouthwatering birria tacos. The smell alone made my stomach growl. The shrimp broth was rich and flavorful--absolutely hypnotic. I'd order it again without hesitation. As for the tacos? I smothered them in the green salsa and devoured them so fast, it was like I was drinking them. I was that hungry--and they were that good. This was the first truly authentic Mexican meal I've had since leaving South Florida. I'll definitely be coming back.

I was very specific with what I wanted for food. The order was for : 1. Large pan of Lasagna ( very tastety). 2. Glazed carrots ( just a tiny bit too sweet) 3. Green beans almondine. ( not impressed. It had a lot of sliced almonds, but they weren't toasted!! And for me toasted almond is what makes the green beans taste soooo good!). 4. Pasta with scrimp and scallops in a creamy Alfredo sauce . ( Every one who had it loved it)! 5. Garlic mash potatoes, not impressed. A lot of the potatoes weren't fully cooked and they had absolutely no flavor. There definitely wasn't any garlic in them at all. A lot of my guests were unhappy with them as well. 6. Macaroni and cheese, you would think with such a simple dish how could it not be absolutely wondetful? I don't know what they used for cheese, but one of them was so sharp and bitter that I had to spit it out. Even my husband who will eat just about anything, he didn't want them. Literally only 2 guest liked it. One was my neice so I gave her the whole pan to take home! 7. Baked stuffed chicken . I had send out invites to 60 ppl so she wanted 3 trays of the chicken . When the final number was 45 she wanted me to keep the same number this was there was one for everyone . I didn't have a problem with that. The first tray of chicken was very dry and all of the chicken only had a very thin layer of stiffing. I was dissapointed with that. The 2 other trays of chicken were nice and moist. My other problem was I took home 24 pieces of chicken so in hind sight I think 2 trays would have been enough. Oh the chicken was flavorful just way too much to take home! We had a ton of left overs ! At least 1/2 of each tray Except for the salad , there was only another 1/20 left. They salad was really good! Very well proportioned everything inside. Overall though the food was pretty good except for a few items! Even though not everything was to my likings we all need to realize everyone makes dished differently . Some we like and others we won't . Also I think I could have been more explicit on how I wanted some of the items made. I would use this company if the need arose.
