It's time for an update!…read more I want to start by saying if you have yet to come what are you waiting for?! But in all seriousness we have done a lot up here since I put the farm on the map. Lets start with our new kitchen! We have built a beautiful kitchen which has helped serve some delicious burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, fries & grilled cheese for you to munch on. While waiting for your order you can walk to the other side of the building to grab a craft beer from Fieldcrest Brewing Company. We do not yet sell ice cream but the plan is to have it in 2023! We do sell cider donuts and s'mores in our country store to help with that sugar craving. We have a stage for our live music! Starting mid July we start our summer concert series which has been a huge hit with the community. I personally love seeing our field covered with lawn chairs and smiles every weekend. We provide lots of games for the kids such as sport balls, tumbling towers, and disc golf while you are enjoying the tunes of your favorite musicians! And when you need a break you can take a tractor ride around the farm! During the week we have provide sunset yoga as well as farmers markets! What better way to enjoy the views than supporting your local community vendors and or taking in some relaxing yoga with friends and family. We still have all your favorite apples for picking AND we planted 250 more trees with plans this fall to plant even more! This will help us prolong our season to Columbus Day Weekend a few years from now. Please do not climb on the trees. We do provide apple pickers for those hard to reach apples. Any broken branches could increase the risk of disease and or kill the tree. The farm has now also turned into a venue for events! We have had a few weddings now this year, including Dan and his new wife Brooke! So if you are looking for a wedding venue why not here! Please scroll through the many pictures to see some of their pictures for a visual. Some things you may notice when coming up, we no longer have the pumpkin patch and the cows have been sold. We have butchered two of the cows so if you are looking for some grass fed beef just find Dan or myself and we'll let you know what we have. A couple reminders: Please drive slow. This helps keep the dust at a minimal, our neighbors will appreciate it, and with all the children running around we want to keep everyone safe. We do not allow outside food and alcohol beverages. Please leave your coolers at home. We are a pet friendly farm! Please pick up after your furry friends after they do their business. This is a farm so you will come across bees also enjoying the apple. Look before you step when picking apples. Could easily step on a fallen apple and roll an ankle. We do encourage exploration! The view from the upper hill is amazing and we recommend taking a walk to enjoy the scenery. And without saying please pick up after yourself, a clean farm is a happy farm. No other cost unless you wish to purchase extra games or maybe some of their many freshly prepared food items at a very low cost. The winning prizes are good amounts and are regularly increased depending on the amount of people in attendance. Stopped by the Gilded Lily for a little pick-me-up, as I recently moved to the area and was feeling…read morea little blue. I wanted to get some cut flowers to take home and arrange myself (I worked in my father's floral shop prior to moving to MA). I had shopped around at multiple grocery stores without finding cut flowers that matched the quality and price I was looking for. Everything was either of poor quality or way too expensive for the type of stems I was looking at. What I purchased: I bought (3) stems of pink lilies, (3) snapdragon stems and (5) alstromeria stems. The florist threw in some eucalyptus greens and other filler (I assume for free), wrapped it in decorative paper and plastic, then finished it off with a bow. Price: $34, including tax. This is slightly higher than what I was looking to pay for loose cut flowers, but the quality has proven worth it. I've had the flowers for about a week, and have had multiple lily blooms open. Staff: the florist/shop owner was very polite, great conversationalist. I did have to wait a few minutes until she got back because the woman who was working there did not know how to charge for and wrap the floral items. My only recommendation is to have someone present (during business hours) who can do simple loose cut bouquets (not even arrangements). Everyone was super polite and made me feel at home. As a note, getting into the parking lot can be a bit of a hassle as the cross-traffic never seems to stop. Overall, a great place for a bouquet of flowers, either for a special occasion or just a pick-me-up for the day.

I believe this closes at sunset but I've been out here at sunrise and it's been pretty quiet until 9:30 am or so. There are a few walking trails and the docks/front of the boathouse (the cement areas) do flood during heavy rain. Definitely a Glastonbury community symbol... :) Lots of kids fishing on the dock/by the river. Playground on the premises & then the Glastonbury parks and rec manages the fields behind the clubhouse. I've been here when there was a wedding and it seemed intimate and romantic. I'm a big fan of this spot!

We came armed with sticks and fabric panels and a myriad of gold spray-painted accessories. On the Friday before our wedding, we were allowed to come in and set up with the Mill 1 staff following our design plan and instruction, and we could not have been happier about how it turned out. What a perfect celebration. The vendors we were given to choose from for catering were great, the bridal "ready room" was comfortable, and a beautiful setting for photos, and we just cannot be thankful enough for everything. If you're here looking for a fresh, green, and original space to get married or host an event, this space far exceeded my expectations, down to the extreme cleanliness of everything - including the shiny wood floors. My wife was overtaken with the urge to knee-slide across the floor during Heart's "Alone" and her white pants were untouched by dirt or dust. Those are pretty clean floors!

Truly amazing!!! There is a main path to follow, but there are also few paths that branch off with some very cool light displays. Mrs Claus had her own set up and Santa was just down the path! Bring your phone to take pics. The lights are plentiful and very colorful. There are also several fire pits to stop & warm up at! The farm has a charming Christmas store and fresh baked goods along with Hot Chocolate!! DO NOT miss the opportunity to visit Silver Bell Farm and walk among the lights!!!
