Woke up Sunday morning and one of my tires was almost flat on my Jeep. I was so thankful that Mavis was opened. They couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The wait wasn't long and they saved the day! I am so happy and will definitely be going back and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you to their staff for being amazing! read more

2026, brand new yr , always something' happens to the vehicle when the season changes. Thank you Saba the next Shabba Ranks & Staff for your services in an unexpected event. Always there on the Ave, great location to have your car fix & checked. Since it's cold , usually the tire PSI drops from cold temp, but in my case , the old patch from previous repaired got worn out , not bad at all the patch lasted 3 yrs . Well time for a new tire. The price for my tire was reasonable price plus coupon was included. The value was phenomenal. The Mrs.& I bring our vehicles here , cause the service & mechanic are at their best. read more

Beware! My daughter went in for an oil change and was almost scammed for $900. When speaking with the attendant she was told they had a special... a free tire rotation with the oil change. That led to telling her she needed brake pads and rotors. I later called and was told that my daughter came in for an oil change and tire rotation and stated that she was hearing noise from her wheels. None of that conversation actually happened and so we did not have the work done. We took the car to another garage and learned that the rotors were perfectly fine and the brake pads had a good six months left on them. These predators tried to take advantage of a young lady for financial gain. As I said, beware. read more

Yelp asks "what could improve?" Answer - everything!!!! I made an online appointment to replace all four tires on my vehicle. When I got to the establishment and checked in, was told there would be a multi-hour wait. The purpose of making an appointment is to avoid very long waits!!!! They then suggestions I reschedule for the next day, with a forecast of 12-17 inches of snow. When I pointed that out they copped an attitude. I have done business with this location in the past and had been treated quite well. Obviously, things have changed. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Quite simply you deserve better. I went to Mavis Tire in Elmsford NY (just a few miles away) and was treated like a valued customer. read more

Update: Just received the below pics of the work they did from the dealership service center. The broken sensor was never replaced despite them charging me $1000 to do so. Note the cable bent at a right angle in the first photo, then the cable being secured with a half assed zip tie in the second from a different angle. This is the kind of work you can expect from this place. read more

This was my second time visiting Mavis Discount, and once again, the service was excellent. I was greeted with respect and great energy by Tim. Carlos was also extremely nice and friendly, and MJ was curious, kind, and very informative about how they were going to fix my car. I'm truly grateful for their service and will continue to come here for any future needs. I'll definitely be recommending them to my family and friends. Thank you so much, Mavis! read more

Normally this mavis store is very professional. I came in for 2 worn tires. The tires all read the pressure and the tire sensors work fine. In fact, I heard this happens and I took a picture on my screen they all read a pressure. When I got the car back, sure enough, they said I needed sensors in both tires for 100 each. "the battery runs out" I argued with them, I told put the old put back the old sensors and configure the pressure system, and miraculously they both worked. I think its a scam Another time, they switched the sensor, so the wrong pressure was on the opposite tire, not good!! George read more

CHARGED FOR SERVICE NOT PERFORMED. In November I took my car to this location for new tires. At that time, the service team recommended that the rear brakes be replaced and an alignment be done. I agreed to the work and paid for the work. On April 8, I brought my car to Toyota for a scheduled servicing and was told that my rear brakes needed repair (no more than 1500 miles after the supposed Mavis job). Additionally, my tire pressure sensors were not working and were found to have been taped inside the rims instead of being fastened properly. Only Mavis has done tire work on my car. I will never give Mavis business again. Even if I get a flat tire and my tire is under warranty, I would rather pay full price somewhere else than give business to an establishment that lies about work and steals customers' money. read more

The staff was SUPER NICE, and the online system for booking appointments was easy to navigate. I also liked receiving a phone call prior to my appointment to confirm. What was a little less than ideal was: 1) The wait time, even with an appointment. My car was not taken into the garage until one hour after my appointment. 2) The waiting area -- lots of people sitting shoulder-to-shoulder in a somewhat cramped space. read more

MJ & Andrea, the sweetest people I have encountered. we got a flat tire around 7 ish pm and it took us some time to reach to Mavis and they kept it open, took us in and really took care of us. I recommend 10/10, genuinely the best experience read more

I've used other Mavis locations in the past with no issue. This location is horrendous! I made an appointment for 1 PM to get car inspected and tire fixed. While I was waiting, a man came in and angrily complaining that he waited four hours and his car was still not ready. I initially thought that guy was being unreasonable. Flash forward two hours later and my car is still sitting in the parking lot where I left it untouched. The guy at the desk told me that he's only allowed to do one inspection per hour according to New York State law. And it was now 3 and my car wasn't even looked at for inspection or to fix the tire. It's just sheer incompetence at this location. Embarrassing! I'd give less than one star if I could read more

I went to the Scarsdale, NY Mavis because I had a flat tire that was caused by hitting a pothole. I was greeted by Jason who looked at the tire and thought it had just been pulled from the rim. He took it into the shop and returned to tell me that I would need a new tire because it had a cut in the side. The tire had to be ordered because one like it was not in stock. It came the next day, was installed on the rim and put back on the car. Jason was knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. He provided excellent customer service. SH read more

Work completed-front and back breaks/rotors on SUV Cost-$2500 Pros- Utilized the pick-up and drop-off service which was great, communication from staff was timely and professional, great service-add-on Cons- Couldnt utilize the coupon that was sent to me which really was the MAIN reason I opted to utilize Mavis, the coupon featured below states $148 off front or rear break services, which is what my service entailed, the fine print of the coupon does not state my vehicle is not included. It does state a very vague most cars but if someone spends $2500 at your location honoring a $148 coupon wouldve been a great service experience. My issue is they could've honored the coupon given the amount of money I spent at this location, a great customer experience is key and it also allows a customer to refer people to a speific business..and I also wanted to have more maintenance services completed but alas my money will not be spent at this location again.... Update-Contacted the number provided the CSR who answered stated this is the number to headquarters and they don't process credits or apply adjustments and to contact the store, spoke to POC at the store and he stated he could not apply the coupon. read more

Horrible. waited 3 1/2 hrs for a car inspection. They told me 1 1/2 hrs wait. Reason being they have an old guy who starts on a car but then takes many breaks, like socializing, getting something to drink or just sitting down. read more

I was recently at this location for a nail in my tire and had the pleasure of dealing with MJ. As in my prior review, he was excellent and did not a real favor in letting my bring my truck in without an appoinmtent. Today, my wife called me and told me she had a nail in her tire and it was quite low. Immediately I suggested Mavis in Scarsdale. I called and again spoke with MJ, who was outstanding. Told me to have her bring in the truck and they would take care of the problem. She did and afterwards let me know how impressed she was with MJ, specifically his demeanor and professsionalism. She agreed, MJ is a great asset at this Mavis location. I only suggested this location because of MJ and the great service. Thank you again MJ. They are lucky to have you. Great Service as always. read more

I went here for a wheel alignment, only because the outter edge of my front tires were wearing out... As soon as it was completed and i drove away i noticed my alignment was wayyyy worse, Now as i drove straight the steerling wheel was 1-2 inches turned to one side... I drove right back, and he agreed that it was done wrong and he re-did it.. (no apology was given, just a "oh you're right" , and then ok here, its done, after i drove 15 mins away then back again 15 mins.. But this wasn't the worse part... After thinking that he corrected the Camber alignment that i originally went there for him to correct,,,, i rotated the front tires with the outter lip that was starting to wear to the rear, and what do you know? The ones in the front kept eating away the edges... he not only screwed up and made the alignment 10 times worse that i had to return to correct,, he of course never fixed the problem i went there for at the start, these is a new luxury SUV, i would of easily got another 20k out of these tires and now because of him i have to buy 4 new tires @ $1,300 and mavis isnt even giving me a good deal at all,, Update,,, Mavis customer service called me back, and said "we will give you the tires at "our cost" (BS) then quoted me a price of $1,350.. LOL.. I called another local shop and they quoted me $1,240. Stay away from Mavis,, stick to local tire places.. read more

Mavis Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Scarsdale, New York

A really horrible experience. Needed a simple state inspection. I was told when i arrived that the wait would be 1-2 hours. 4.5 hours later they got to my car. Along the way, I was told numerous times that I was "next" while I watched a series of cars get pulled into the bays. After about two minutes of looking at the car, they told me it had failed inspection because the brake pads were worn. These pads were replaced 6 months ago. Never again. read more

I went for a simple inspection. I made the appointment online. The guy told me it would be about 1-1.5 hours and that there was only 1 person ahead of me and they just took her car in. I went and waited and after about 20 min or so, the woman who was in front of me, happened to sit next to me in waiting room, said she was waiting for 3 hours! She was getting just an inspection too. Shortly after her car was ready. I am there maybe for 45 minutes and she has been gone for about 15 minutes, my car is still waiting outside and has not been taken in yet. I was already alarmed that she had to wait 3 hours. I complained that the woman was finished and I was next and that it's almost been an hour and my car had not been takin inside yet. The guy at the counter was very defensive and rude. I went back and waited another half hour (I'm already there 1.5 hours at that point) I still saw my car sitting in the parking lot not being taken in. I finally got disgusted and said give me back my keys I am going somewhere else. I cannot believe the treatment of customers this place gives. I have never seen anything like this. When they said my car would take 1-1.5 hours I thought that it would have been done or in the shop at that point. Inspections usually take 30-45 minutes. I understand that there is usually a little wait but not 1.5 hours to get my car in the shop especially if there is only person ahead of me and left after the first half hour of me being there. Treat your customers better. If they make an appointment stick to it. Had I been a walk in then I'd have no argument but I made an appointment and waiting 1.5 hours to find your car has not even been taken into the garage is unacceptable. Other folks were also waiting a while. Never again. read more

We received a donated car for a family in need. I took the car to this Mavis franchise in Scarsdale for an estimate to make sure this used car was in good working order. They put car on a lift and said brake pads and rotors were no good. Ditto shocks. $2,300 estimate. I waited until my long time mechanic returned from vacation. He looked at the car and said brakes were very new and shocks, although a bit rusted, were no leaking. He changed air and cabin filter, rotated front tires, replaced defective rear brake light, and did inspection (car passed). Price $267. Stay clear of Mavis. They will try to rob you blind. I gave them 1 star bc Yelp doesn't list zero stars as an option. OMG!!!! read more

Brought my car to them for two tires. When picking it up there was obviously fresh damage to the paint on the side of the car. They denied any responsibility even though the paint was obviously freshly chipped as could be seen by the edges of paint from the damage. Do not go here!! Update: Unfortunately, it gets worse. The manager, Cecil, appears to be someone who does not tell the truth: 1) He said he did not see the car, nor the damage. But he did in person. 2) He claimed to call us to resolve the situation, but my wife and I do not see in our phone logs any calls from him. Look out and stay away!!! read more

So I called back Customer Service as informed by answer on review. Spoke to Regalia, was put on hold. After 10 minutes holding, disconnected. The way to make this better is, 1- train mechanics to inform customers of any issues on vehicle while performing requested service, that way Customer knows and can correct while at shop. 2- In My case refund $$ I paid to have wheel alignment WHEN mechanic KNEW it was not going to do any good. I could have had struts taken care while car was in shop. read more

I had a flat tire. I got some air and made it to Scarsdale Mavis. They fixed the tire and called me to pick up in a timely manner. I asked for a rotation last minute so I had to wait until the morning to get the car back because it was the end of the day. They called early the next morning ready to go. The customer service was good and they finished within the time they said they would. As for the tire, so far so good. read more

I advise avoiding this business entirely. I went on their website and made an 11:00 a.m. appointment to have my car serviced. When I arrived at 10:45 a.m., I was told there would be a significant delay. When I mentioned that I had an appointment, I was told, "so did people at 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00 a.m." My reply? "Well, I'm glad you got to service their cars, so now it's my turn." Basically, I was told that making an appointment didn't matter because people often show up without appointments--the exact reason I had made an appointment, to prevent any significant delay. I was told that I would likely not get served for a couple of hours, at which point I grabbed my keys and left. I can't speak to the quality of their car service at Mavis, but the quality of their customer service is zero. read more
