The staff were extremely rude and passive aggressive after I still had the same issue with my car before and after. I replaced the parts and nothing changed. They just like to over charge. The worst part was the employees. Nasty attitude. read more

George and Eddie are great, they have maintained 2 of my cars, from inspections to oil change, lites, and radio. They are quick and reasonable pricing. I will never take my car to the dealer. Guys keep up the great work yous do. read more

SCAMMER ALERTT!!! I came in for an inspection and owners tried to up sale me on some tires (500$) in order to pass my inspection. When I told the owner I don't have that money and only have for the inspection, he advised me he can't pass me and wouldn't be able to do inspection. To make it all worse, he held my car hostage for 20$ for "checking my car" after he told me he couldn't check it because I will fail the test. I left and went down the block and got my inspection for 35$ with no problem or questions asked. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!!! And stay away from this place, they believe since there in riverdale they can over charge and get off on customers. read more

I have been going to this mechanic for almost thirty years, where the dad ran the place and now two of his sons run it. They do a great job....prices are fair and work is always top notch! I always call ahead to make sure they can squeeze me in, but lots of people just walk in. The great value here is that they do the jobs right the first time! FYI they are closed on weekends. read more

I've been going there for gas for awhile now. My inspection expired and went to get an inspection done. Eddie helped me out and told me that my brakes needed to get done. I knew that it was time. Went back a week later and got the rear brakes done. Eddie told me that they could get it done in time to get my kids from school. He kept his word.My vehicle was ready ahead of time. They gave a good price. I will be returning to have front brakes done. Great work. read more

Amazing customer service and a great repair shop for all your car needs, big and small. I've got a 1999 BMW 328i which is running like clockwork because of George, Eddie and the crew. They have done everything from a simple oil change to front end work, engine work, brakes, and a signal switch replacement all on budget and same day service. Can't go wrong at Milad Nukho & Sons, highly recommended! read more

i have been to plenty of shops in my lifetime and I just want to say I was skeptical even getting my car looked at because I seen reviews about Eddie scamming people out of pocket just to look at their cars. I went to get my car looked at after an accident I had and was willing to get the work done with them but I changed my mind after he decided to charge me for information. Beyond crazy, their shop is based in Yonkers which is for the most part considered low income neighborhoods so the fact he charging people in poverty just to look at their cars and give them information is beyond me. I'll never go to get my car looked at again from this shop theirs 101 shops in the area that'll look at it for free just off the strength. I don't know what makes certain business owners think people think in these times have money like that, especially people in poverty. He had made a joke before I left my car with him about "it being $1,000 an hour for labor" I knew right away then and there he was going to charge me I just didn't know how much because he decided to be transparent once everything was said and done. I didn't know how much I'd be paying until it was time to pay for "labor". $92 for him to drive my car into the garage, lift it and take a look. He definitely plays games and tries to speak to people friendly as if we dumb and haven't been around. Luckily Chase has a "Pay in 4" option, I immediately got my money right back... I paid that off on my own time. I feel bad for the people who trust in the shop, his customers are probably older folks who get scammed or people in desperate situations because ain't no way people are willing to pay just to get their cars lookeded at. Respectfully. The work I was willing to get done with him would have been through insurance and he would have made way more than $92, he even offered a reimbursement once the insurance company from the thirs party reaches out to him.. so in my eyes I basically put that $92 down as a deposit. Why charge me if you were going to reimburse me ? I'm a man of my word and all about respect I knew he was a clown when he stated charging me 1000$ an hour for labor. You don't play with people like that, especially people you dont know. That can trigger people into a mood he won't be able to process. read more

My car was having a weird noise on the suspension after having some work done at another location so i called Edd and he took care of the problem right away they really care about their customers 100% recommended read more

When I needed work on my car I looked around for the best reviews for a mechanic and this was one of the best places based on reviews. Reviews are not wrong, the guys here are awesome! I've brought my Scion here many times and they always take care of me and you can always trust that they will take care of you. Prices are also very reasonable, so don't hesitate to stop by. read more

I came in on a Monday late afternoon with a busted control arm on car, and a road trip planned for Wednesday morning. The Nukho brothers had the problem diagnosed, the part delivered and the car fixed by Tuesday afternoon. I've also used them several times for fender benders and they've gotten the most out the insurance company. They aren't cheap, but I have always trusted the service I've gotten from them. read more

Just came in to find out why brake lights weren't working - car so old, so many problems, I figured, so I was ignoring the "check engine" light because of planning to sell it soon rather than repair. They quickly fixed whatever was shorting out the brake lights so I bcc a drive it a little longer without getting tickets - and the Check Engine light is off! Whatever they did, it was the right thing! read more

These guys are speedy and trustworthy. Have been going for many years and always receive A +++ service. I recommend them highly.

I should start off by saying that I am very particular about my car and who I take it to for maintenance. With that said, this is an outstanding business that George and Eddie run. They're extremely professional, excellent communicators, and very fairly priced given the quality of the work and diagnostics that they do. At no point did I ever feel like I was getting sold unnecessary work or being given the runaround. It was all above board and they're clearly experts in their craft. I highly recommend Milad Nukho & Sons to anyone looking to have honest and high-quality work done on their vehicle and I will be taking my Volkswagen here moving forward. read more

Honest. Reliable. Reasonable. Communicative. Respectful. A family business. What more can you ask for from an auto repair shop? Really. read more

My family has been using the Nukho family garage since moving to Yonkers in 2004. We were recommended to them by our local realtor, Jane McAfee. Mr. Nukho was still alive, but it is truly a family enterprise. Eddie and George have cared for our family's cars, and also as caring neighbors, for almost 20 years. They have done repairs, refurbishing of an inherited classic (my mother's Mercedes, nearly 30 years old, running beautifully), and helped us in small ways and large. I trust them completely! They do great work, give good advice, and truly care about the people in South Yonkers. Thank you! read more

Rudest customer service ever. I came towards the end of day and asked if an inspection can be done and the response was I have a life and have to go home to. Like who the Fuck answers that way. A simple Its too late would do. I usually don't curse but Fuck this place and it's repulsive workers. read more

I went to them initially for a state inspection, and they went so above and beyond with that simple task, I was impressed. When my vehicle was later in need of a few routine repairs, I went to them. They are professional, responsive...impeccable communication. Not to mention, timely with repairs! They are all so knowledgeable. They can explain to you what different parts are and what they do, and will be upfront about everything. I highly recommend them, and I look forward to working with them in the future for all our mechanic needs. It means a lot to trust someone with the car you use to transport you from point A to point B. read more

I recently took my 2003 Isuzu Axiom here for a computer diagnostics to find out why my car was losing power while driving... I was told the computer diagnostics would give that information. GEORGE then phoned me after a couple of days to say my car was not a "smart car" and that the computer diagnostic would not work. He said they would check my car and get back to me. Two weeks later he calls me and says my car needs a fuel pump and that it would cost over $900. I said thats two expensive and that I would pick up my car... but then he said I had to pay for the diagnostic. I told him he said he couldn't do diagnostic on my car so why are they charging me. I explained that unless they have a computer print up with codes stating what was wrong with my car I was not paying. They kept my car for two weeks and the so called computer diagnostic was some nonsence they printed up same day I picked up car which they CHARGED OVER $130 for. BEWARE OF GETTING ANYTHING DONE AT THIS PLACE. MAKE SURE TO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING BEFORE ANYTHING IS DONE. THEY SCAMMED ME AND CHARGED ME FOR A REPORT THEY DID NOT DO. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH MOTOR VEHICLES REPAIR DIVISION. read more

I went twice to Milad Auto Shop for my engine car shield to be repaired. First to remove the old part out and second to install the new part in. Everytime I called them, they're always so nice and professional and would allow me to come in for them to check what's going on with my car. They got my car fixed in good amount of time and the price of service is great compared to my Hyundai Authorized Shop. The brothers (George and Eddy) and their mother are amazing and make you feel like you're their good friends. The people working with them looks like very professional and very nice too.I would definitely recommend people who need repairs to come to their shop as I will definitely come back as their customer if I need anything with my car. read more

George, You actually just told several lies in your response and I almost could get a lawyer at this point for defamation. You should be really careful when stating someone asked you to do something illegally. I have Angel and Qui ci at two other shops (after you, who fixed my car and were awesome) to verify I had never asked such a thing. I actually showed you what VW on my phone via picture (so another weird lie). I asked for two days to leave it there for two days because you said you wanted me to go to VW because you were done trying and I had to go to work and the car was expired. After all the money I spent there, and the weeks you left my car sitting there not helping me - I deserved the help. In addition, I did not want my car left there in February. I kept calling asking about it. This is exactly what is so terrifying about your shop. You are willing to lie and then bully. I can't believe you do this under your father's name. How terribly sad. Yes, the toxic masculinity does deserve a finally finger. Ciao read more

I honestly won't recommend this at all ! Be aware they like to play games ! They charge so much & they always made up crap so ! Very dishonest people ! I give them 3 tries just in case I was wrong ! My advice! Stay away read more

I have been going to these guys for years. Great service and honest!!!! I always felt like I was being taken advantage of until I came here. Always gave me the run down and my options. I have never had to go back for the same problem. Once they take care of it, it is taken care of. They are a well established business and very personable owners. I cannot say enough nice things about them. I moved to another borough and still remain a loyal customer because good service is hard to find especially in this industry! I highly recommend them. read more

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Thorough, skilled, friendly and fairly priced. And you want honest? They didn't just tell me what was wrong with my car -- they showed me. Ever find a garage where you feel like family? (And I'm talking about the good kind, not the dysfunctional kind!) Then bring your car here. The Nukho team here is a god send. George and Ed are terrifically conscientious, trustworthy, honest, and just plain wonderful. Yes, I am gushing, but after being #$%^over by an out-of-state dealer, I feel incredibly lucky to have found Milad Nukho & Sons. Just one example of how they brought my 28 year old Toyota back to life: It used to run on what I called 'squirrel' power because the dealer who serviced it messed up the timing, among other things. So I'd thought the car I'd inherited was just slow and it's 4 cylinders had trouble going beyond 40 mph. George and Ed found the problem and fixed the timing and replaced the belt, it now roars like a tiger! It feels like a new car and can handle highways without hesitation. No one else, not the dealer nor the out of state garage could find the problem but both charged me plenty for their time. Nukho's price was fair and the work was done as promised. Plus everyone there is super nice and considerate. You can drop your car off or use the waiting room equipped with cable tv. If you chose to wait, you could do as I do and stop by the diner next door for good food and friendly service. Thanks to this little spot of heaven, I actually look forward to spending time there for state inspections and any work that's needed to keep my car humming along. And, no, I do not work there! ;-p but I just had my car inspected and serviced yesterday and am so thrilled by how much better it runs after time at Nukho & Sons that I had to post this review. read more

AVOID. Total rip off. Charge more than anyone should and never fix the problem.

George, Tony, and Diana worked miracles on my Subaru which was damaged in two different places by two different drivers! From the start, they handled both insurance companies professionally and managed to acquire the correct amount owed for quality parts to be installed during the repair. The car was delivered in an amazingly short amount of time, and it looks like the first day it was purchased. The interior was cleaned, and the detailing was impeccable. In this day and age when things are promised and yet, not delivered, it is refreshing to know that such an amazing repair shop is so close to home. Thank you!!! read more

I've got to start by saying this is my very first Yelp review! And it is very-very positive!! Drove into the Bronx on Saturday-the hottest day of this summer-with my 93-year-old father and an air-conditioner that began pumping warmer and warmer air since we left Rochester. By the time we got to the City we were dripping. Found this auto shop in Yelp. Called at about 20 minutes before their closing time. Ed said come on in and, at the end of nearly an hour, my air-conditioner was recharged, the system was cleaned, no leaks were found and I was on my way. This was on a Saturday night! The price was reasonable. And the service couldn't have been better. Thanks! read more
