I dropped off the car and they called me a few hours later to pick up. More recently, I got a nail in my tire. Came in around 4pm - fair warning, a lot of people come in 4-5pm - thankfully I came early enough to beat the after work crowd and there was only 1 person ahead of me. I sat down in a little seating area with TV on, waited about 20 min and they came back and told me it was all done. They plugged the tire and I was on my way. Everything took less than 1hr and they didnt charge me for the plug because it was so quick and I'm a return customer. Very satisfied with the customer service and overall experience.

NY roads are terrible, so we are lucky to have someone like Derek available to assist. One of the rims was bent in 22 places and all of the rims were visually out of round. The car also had shaking which began after hitting a major pothole en route to JFK a week before seeing Derek. After Derek's repair, the car was free of all vibrations and my drive quality returned to the way it was when I left the dealership upon purchase. There are very few technicians that would offer this level of precision and service, or spend the time needed to complete the service with his relentless level of perfection. A day after, I got a call from Mark who said that the car was good to go and that it had no issues for driving. I was surprised and happy to hear that. I paid $160 and picked up the car soon after and started driving it back down to Brooklyn. I quickly learned that M&M had spent no time working on my car. There was a range of issues. There was a scraping sound of the inside of the bumper falling off whenever I drove. The car was in desperate need of an oil change. The brakes were so worn down that they were unsafe for driving and the car rattled whenever I drove. On top of all these issues, the car had tires at 10 PSI (they are normally supposed to be at 33 PSI). Finally I learned that the car's horn didn't even work when I needed it most on my drive back down to the city. I called multiple times frustrated about what I even paid for. I felt lied to when Mark told me that my car was good to go when it clearly was unsafe to drive and wouldn't pass state inspection in its state. I felt gaslit by the woman on the phone who told me that there was no issue and that Mark would call me to tell me he looked over everything. He never called. I am really frustrated because I was ripped off and had to take the car to get significant work at different shops throughout Brooklyn because Mark overlooked so many glaring errors. Bottom line: whether you have a beater or a Benz, do not take your car here. Unless you want to burn your money.

For context, I do this because i take my vehicle to car shows and don't want my personal information displayed. The mechanic explained that they couldn't do that because of state law and that is fine. Then the owner accused me of putting the inspection on different cars!?! What is wrong with this guy? I am used to going to mechanics who make you feel dumb if you don't understand something or want it explained. At JC Auto Repair everyone is always friendly and willing to answer any questions in detail. You can also trust them, they have told me when I did not need certain repairs although Mavis told me I needed many expensive items. Their prices are fair, and even if an item or two could be slightly more expensive, it is 100% worth it., and absolutely worth the piece of mind that they are doing it right the first time. John the owner is amazing-he is super friendly and takes pride in the work they do-he has been a mechanic for over 50 yrs! Over the years I have tried many mechanics and generally they are in it for the money and could actually care less about their customers.
