DO NOT GO HERE. I only have myself to blame for giving the store another try after a horrible experience a few years ago but it happened again. Very dishonest staff. Only looking to make a sale or upsell you. Went in for a tire rotation on a car that is 3 months old. Desk worker told me I needed new tires after looking out the window at my car. Told me electric vehicles were different and tires wear faster. That might be true but I am sure they don't wear out in 3 months and less than 10K miles. Went to another tire shop. No problems. Asked about the wear and they said it was fine. Never again with this place. Stay away. read more

5 Stars is easy to verify; on a Sunday-- last minute, no appointment they are able to fix my flat tire. Spacious waiting area, with child area, bathroom ADA, water fountains, TV and near a Coffee shop... ask for John, you won't be disappointed. He is knowledgeable and knows his inventory. AVOID THIS MAVIS AT ALL COST. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POSITIVE REVIEWS THEY ARE INACCURATE OR FAKE. I went to this mavis to swap my tires due to a flat. To start, it took 7 mechanics and about an hour to get the tire off the wheel. They couldn't remove the tire. The tire is directional, so when they finally removed the tire they were able to get it on the wrong way. Secondly, once the job was completed, I discovered that the wheel was destroyed/ scratched up (pictures below). The scratches are deep and unrepairable. Thirdly, upon further inspection of the wheel, I noticed the tires were completely flat after about an hour. Not only had they destroyed my wheel but while changing the tires they destroyed the valve stem along with the brand new TPMS sensor. I contacted the store multiple times to inform them and each employee stated they were not the manager and or the manager was not in, that they would call me back. I never received a call back ever. I finally got in touch with a manager, who told me they had to speak to a higher manager to resolve the matter and will call me back with a solution. Shockingly I never received a call back. I called back again and was told to get a price of a new wheel and send it to their email. At a price point of $350, I was told the best they can do is give me a $150 store credit. Why would I return to use a $150 credit for them to possibly cause another $350 worth of damage. Personally I would never go here again as I dealt with them on and off for months to try to get a resolution and was pretty much dismissed. But if you choose to believe the positive reviews. DO NOT USE THIS MAVIS. I drove out of my way to come to this Mavis due to some of the positive reviews. THIS WAS A MISTAKE. My one tire had a nail in it and was leaking air. They said it could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. The salesman convinced me to replace all four tires. I drive a lot for work so the extra money did not bother me. However, they misquoted a rebate/promotion and never offered me a warranty on the tires. Three days later! One of the "brand new" tires popped while driving out of my neighborhood. I brought it back to the same Mavis. They tried to blame me for the CLEARLY faulty tire saying I hit a curb , when I did not. And saying, I should have taken the warranty that was never offered in the first place. This Mavis is a scam. They sell faulty tires and blame their customers. Find somewhere...anywhere else. read more

Finding a mechanic can be difficult but Tommy, Dylan, and the rest of the crew at Mavis are incredible! As a woman going to get something as simple as an oil change can be intimidating because you never know what they may push on you (I've had this happen plenty of times). At Mavis they weren't pushy at all, extremely kind and fast! I went in for an oil change and they pin pointed an issue I had been experiencing with my back tire and fixed it. Waiting room was very clean and spacious which is always appreciated! I'll be back and sending everyone I know over there. 10/10 would recommend! read more

First I was told I was getting Hankook tires, they were in stock and The car would be done in an hour. Second, I was told it would cost $850 so I decided to have the tires installed due to the cost and quick install. After an hour and a half My car was still up on the lift without any tires on it. I couldn't find the person behind the desk, I had to go inside the work area to see what was going on. I found out that they had only had three tires in stock and were waiting for the fourth, no one told me until I asked. The tires did not say Hankook, they only said Mavis. I asked them to change the tires because I was told Hankook. I finally got out of there two and half hours later. The best part is when I get home and check my tire pressure, two tires are at 14 psi, one is 15psi and the last one is 26 psi, It supposed to be 34psi!!!. How do you balance a tire or check alignment with low tire pressure? There are plenty of places to get new tires, I suggest you don't go to Mavis. read more

I showed up without an appointment because my tire was going flat on my way to work and it was raining. Tommy, one of the managers was very helpful and took care of me right away even though there were several cars already being serviced. He quickly inspected the tire, found and removed a nail from the tire and repaired it in what appeared to be less than 15 minute and I was able to get back on my way. He also made sure the other three tires had enough air. I drove over 100 miles that day through a rain storm and my tire was fine. Thank you Tommy! I will definitely be back in the future and I plan to recommend them to my friends and family. If you need a good tire shop go there and ask for Tommy. He will definitely make sure you are well taken care of and 100% satisfied! read more

My car's back left tire was causing problems for me. The tire pressure was only half as much as the other three tires. I found Mavis Tires in Middletown NJ in the late evening. Most other tire stores had already closed. However, Mavis was still open. The service providers were quick and incisive in finding the reason for the tire problem. There was a nail stuck in the middle of the tire. They were able to extract the needle free of charge. I was delighted at their kind service. I brought my car to get brake pads and rotors done. They did the job and they order the parts that I needed and gave a discount on the repair. My issue is that they changed the price of the repair 4 times! and they didn't give full disclosure of how much I would be paying. It was one miss price quote after another. As good a job that they did, telling a customer the full price of the work and that INCLUDES TAX should be part of the presentation in customer service read more
