It all started during a beautiful day at the beach, which could have turned so ugly looking that a blind man would vomit. I was lucky, because I went to start my car and it flashed a low battery indicator, I tested it at auto zone and they made me aware that I needed a new alternator. I went to Firestone at 4:00 and I was out by 5:20. I researched this issue after the fact and I did need a new alternator, because my car was at 110,000 miles and an alternator usually lasts that long. longest oil change ever... they try to sell you services that I didnt ask or requested, on the meantime the serviceI asked for it took almost 2 hours. Following up. after 2 1/2 hours , they gave me the car back... dashboard looked like a Christmas tree.. I have to turned around, 5 minutes on the road, manager left after she checked me in, and left " service manager on charge" guy was not only obnoxious/condensed and not professional, (im still waiting for and answer) but unprofessional, had 3 technicians looking under the hood for 15 minutes (after 2 hours) trying to figure it out why an oil change will take 2 1/2 hours. it has been 5 hours already and Im still waiting for manager to call or contact us on any way possible. read more

this place needs to get it together. they charged my card before they even worked on my car... they also snapped a stud in my tire and refused to repair it... i do not recommend this place to anyone read more

They should give ZERO STARS on here at times. Called for appointment night before. Booked for 7am and told me don't be late they're very busy ( it's 7:45) still no one here but 2 out of 3 eating their breakfast as my car sat on lift from 7:06 till ( still waiting) 7:45. One TIRE!!!! And oh btw I initially walk in when window on sign says " walk ins welcome) and front desk looked at me like what do you want ? You have no appointment. They gave me an estimate of the work they felt according to the mileage and year of the car which is a Chevy 2010 Equinox LTZ, nice ride, with plenty of power. I only wanted to get an alignment and tires. They suggested that I have new struts and brakes and other maintenance done on the car which they Est. would amount to over $2800.00. I took the estimate and turned around, walked out and left the place. read more

Tommy's Auto Repair haggles people down for their money. I came in for a simple oil change on my 2015 Acura and was quoted it would take 20 minutes and I will be on my way. I was there for 1.5 hours waiting and not getting any answers from the staff which were very rude addressing my concern. Then a mechanic tells me I need wipers, cabin air filter and engine air filter. I know i don't need these things because I have 2 month old wipers and got both air filters replaced at the dealership 6 months ago. They're straight liars because they saw I was driving a nice car! I came in for a simple 15 min oil change and was there for over 2 hours because on top of all this their cash register wasn't working and they made me wait until it was fixed. Never going back I highly discourage anyone else to come here for their services. I hope they didn't put cheap standard oil in my car that takes full synthetic!! read more

I called ahead to see if Firestone on Highway 35, Middletown, NJ had tires that would fit my car. They had the tires, I was quoted a price, which I accepted and decided on the time to bring the car in for the work. I arrived at the store about 10 minutes early so we could discuss a few minor details. However, the person I talked to was not at work so another person took over. He confirmed the tires were there and then he sat down at his computer to recalculate the cost. I explained to him that I already had a quote that I was OK with but he just ignored me. I asked him one more time why he was recalculating and his answer was "will you leave me alone so I can do my job ". With that I explained to him that another tire company had given me a quote but when I got there they said they didn't have the tires but offered me some at a higher price. I wasn't about to let it happen again. With that he exploded and very angrily told me he wasn't going to do business with me. I left. read more

today I stoped at Firestone to get a tire replacement on a car that I recently purchase . When I got my car back I checked the tire and that's when I found out they gauche out the rim and they tried to hide it with black break dust when I confronted them about it they denied it and blamed it on me . I told him that this was a new Vehicle and that scratchers where not there prior to me going to Firestone .I had just washed my car so I definitely knew that the scratches weren't there before, they continued to blame me for it . I would never go back there again specially being a 80 year old woman with high blood pressure.if you're planning to get any work done on you're car make sure you take a picture before letting them work on you're car .this was the worst experience I ever had I should of went to my home mechanic.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . read more

I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and when I arrived they told me I had to wait an hour and a half. I requested to wait when I schedule the appointment and did not expect to wait that long. Why schedule an appointment time if you have to wait an hour and a half? I have a Lexus IS and had hit some serious potholes last winter which had really messed up my front end alignment. I thought that the dealership had corrected it but within a year my front tires were ruined after only being driven about 20,000 miles. Called up the Middletown, NJ Firestone location (Store #7544)(A friend had recommended that particular shop), spoke to the manager who was VERY helpful and reassuring, made an appointment and brought it in. I was in and out in less than an hour with 2 new front tires. The shimmy and front end vibration was completely gone, which never was the case when the dealership did the alignment, and the drive has been great ever since. Everyone in the shop was a total pro and the manager rocked! I knew that I was in good hands! Thanks guys! Your shop is my home for all things tires from here on in.
