I have been a faithful customer for many years. For the 1st time I have experienced an issue, which seems to be due to a cross threaded reinstallation of the oil drainage plug bolt. I discovered this issue today when I found oil spots in my driveway...one spot for each day since my service. I visited a sister store today closer to where I live where I was told that I would need to go back to the store that performed my service. I was also informed by the franchise I visited that if the bolt was cross threaded it would require the replacement of my oil pan. I'm hopeful this will be done by Jiffy Lube, if required. I will be visiting the store that performed this service tomorrow morning and will report back on their response. - JF read more

I just moved to the area and was looking for a trustworthy place for oil changes and minor car maintenance--and I'm so glad I found the Hazlet Jiffy Lube! The team here was fantastic. The gentlemen who helped me got me in and out quickly, and they took care of everything: fresh oil change, new air filter, tire rotation, topped off all my fluids, and even fixed a slow leak in one of my tires. The service was efficient and professional, and the prices were extremely reasonable. It's not easy to find a place that's both fast and thorough, but this Jiffy Lube delivered on all fronts. I'll definitely be bringing my car back here for all future services. Highly recommend! read more

Service hasn't been good as of late and I've been going to this location for over 20 years. My last visit, a few months ago, my 4 tires were replaced, and they didn't balance at all. No weights on any of the rims. I turned around immediately and still didn't correct. After leaving the second time, i discovered they also damaged or incorrectly installed a valve stem on one tire which caused a leak. Next morning no air in tire. Filled the tire then ended up taking to competitor across the street to Mavis who corrected both without issue. On 2/19, went for a simple oil change that took close to 60 minutes to complete. There was only one other car in shop when I arrived. Didn't vacuum but also tracked mud on carpets. No more. You're to provide a service not incremental time and money. I'll be taking my business to Mavis. read more

They damaged my glove box. It has a tie bar that keeps the box from falling. They ripped it out so it is not repairable. The mounting is broken off. If you don't know how to remove the glove box then leave it alone. Will never take another vehicle to a Jiffy Lube. Totally incompetent. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

I needed an oil change but it turned out I also desperately needed front brakes. They told me I just bring the car to my mechanic before driving any distance. I asked them if they could do it while I waited. 45 minutes later I had brakes, an oil change, rotated tires and wiper blades. Polite, honest and an overall great experience. read more

My son took his car in for an oil change. I told him to ask for conventional oil and no add ons. $138 later he got synthetic oil and a cabin filter change. We recently changed the cabin filter, so it didn't need a new one let alone a $55 one I can get for $20. So they violated customer trust by doing work without asking the customer first, and not doing what was asked. There are better choices. read more

Every time I go in here the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and have great customer service. Most recently they accidentally broke my glove box. Not only did they replace it without any issue- they were extremely apologetic and handle the entire situation professionally! We all make mistakes but when we own them it speaks volumes. I highly recommend Jiffy Lube and the TEAM! read more

Clean , courteous and professional-simple review for a simple no nonsense task. Would recommend read more

Way over priced. I just paid $201 for an oil change on a Honda. I thought that was a little expensive so I called my Honda dealership and they said the same oil change would cost me $74. Since when is Jiffy Lube more expensive than going to a dealership. I realize you pay more for the convenience but that's over the top! I learned my lesson. read more

Fast friendly service. Personnel are interested in getting you in and out within the time required

I received really great Customer Service From Bar & Her Staff. The Job was done very efficiently & I am very satisfied with how Professional everything was handled. I look forward to My Next Visit!! read more

Oil change is over priced. I was quoted a price over the phone. When I took my car in I was charged a higher price. I will not be using them again. read more

This Jiffy Lube has the worst service and needs better employees. They had three bays open, but only let vehicles in the one bay. So the simple oil change took forever because the car in front of us was taking forever. I don't know what they were doing with that vehicle but a 10 minute oil change turned into a half hour. And one of the employees seemed, off, like they were on something. Unacceptable. read more

Jiffy Lube - Auto Repair Near Me - Hazlet, New Jersey

My car was serviced promptly but I was a little put off that my oil filter was not in stock - I had to leave and get it at nearby auto parts store for Jiffy Lube. My car was also not vacuumed - part of the Signature Service. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Will return. - John D read more

It was my first time there. Everyone was friendly. Tech went over services and price before starting. read more

Took a little bit longer than I expected but considering how busy they were it was not bad at all. I was impressed to see the manager ( a young woman whose name I forget) grab a impact gun to help out rotating tires on a car to keep the process moving. This manager was completely connected to the customers and employees and kept the process moving at a brisk pace unlike previous managers I have experienced that sit in the office and print out invoices. Looks like they finally got someone in here that knows how to make the place work like it should. I'll be back for sure for my personal and work vehicles. read more

Complete jerks, NO NOT GO HERE!! On Thursday, August 2nd 2018 at 5:14pm I called about getting an oil change on my 2012 Ford F-250 diesel. Guy quoted me $192.55, I said I've never paid more than $115 in 6 years owning the truck. He tells me it's required to have synthetic oil, I tell him in 6 years of getting oil changes at Ford dealerships, other jiffy lube stations and doing it myself that synthetic is not required and is in fact frowned upon in diesel trucks. Guy on phone starts telling me how much he thinks he knows about engines(which is very little claiming this garbage) Borderline FRAUD, I'm sure house wives and old people get the same treatment of gauging with the synthetic oil change story. read more

First time I've ever found a place to service my car that I continuously return to. The staff is always nice and I have never felt pressured into spending more than I need to on my car. Amanda is always friendly and helpful. They always do a great job and leave my car cleaner than I brought it. I never have to wait long and their prices are very fair. read more

Service was fast and done well. Staff was nice and waiting area had a TV with hgtv playing (which I liked).

LOVE getting my synthetic oil changes here - been a loyal customer for almost a decade now. They're quick, efficient & very thorough. Plus, I use a $15 OFF coupon every 3 months & they don't appear to mind. New owners are fab - extremely fast - last month I was in & out in less than 25 minutes!! Definitely give them a try. read more

Do not go to this place. They did not do what was promised and written at all. I can not believe it. And the price is much higher than the other location. read more

Needed an oil change and usually I bring my leased car back to the dealership. I picked this jiffy lube this time. The guys were very nice and speedy. If anything I'd say the prices are a bit high but it has nothing to do with their excellent staff!! read more

I soured on Jiffy Lubes after going to the one close to my home. It didn't seem possible but every trip my car had an issue that needed addressing. I noticed my car hasn't had an oil change in a long time so I decided to go here. Wow, first class service. They checked things and showed me that I didn't need any changes. read more

I took my car for an oil change and proceeded to settle in for a long haul. I just sat down and they called me to review the car and it's needs. After the review I returned to the seating area and again opened Words with Friends. As I was playing my third word I heard my car being called. Needless to say I was shocked at the speed. I was in and out in under 20 minutes (if that). I pulled up a coupon on my phone and $12 came right off. I have been going to the same place for years and though always friendly, professional, neat, and clean this has all of those and speed. I highly recommend this. read more

This Jiffy Lube on Rt 35 is terrific. The entire staff is always very courteous, quick, thorough, friendly & professional!

Been to this place about 20 times already abs yesterday the young woman at checkout tried to tell me that they've been using full synthetic oil ($90) each time when I know they've been using regular ($46) oil for oil changes. I take all 3 vehicles there and I know what they take. This is basically what they call "upcharging" in the business. But I caught her and said "nice try on the upcharge, but I caught you!" And then paid $36 after the coupon. I know they are required to try to upcharge at these places but I WAS a regular customer with 3 vehicles. I'll go somewhere else now. B'bye JL read more

fast service, although very pricey for synthetic oil. Also, they advised my brake fluid was a little low but won't top off.

DO NOT. Worst experience. Would never recommend or come back. Dropped my car off got called later with the diagnostic was told it would be xxx amount, a little pricey but gave the okay for them to fix the issue. Hours later I was called after they did everything and decide to charge me they tell me the issue is something else. My car runs even worse than when I brought it in. read more

Last time I got an oil change here they forgot to replace my dip stick. Made a huge mess and a costly visit to a mechanic. Would not recommend at all. read more

Everyone was polite. They do try to upsell you on wipers and air filters, but if you say no, at least in my experience, they do not persist (which can get very annoying for me since I come from a family of mechanics and I don't want to explain myself every time as to why I'm not buying your air filter right now). I would only go for their service if you have the $15 off coupon. It came to $26 for the signature oil change which is $6 cheaper than JUST an oil change place. I would recommend coming at off-hours or else your wait time will be 45 minutes. read more

So I know nothing about cars. At all. I needed an oil change (like 4,000 miles ago...) so I stopped in after my nail appointment. After my last disastrous experience at a place up the street from here (3+ hours to change my oil (?!) DESPITE an 8am appointment!), I was a bit nervous as I don't want to waste an ENTIRE Saturday here. Nope, dropped my car off and they told me (and showed me!) what my car needed (oil change, filter change and something else). Boom. Out in 45 minutes! And I found a $5 off coupon online. read more

Avoid at all cost!! Took our vehicle for an oil change on 10/12/19. Even though our car had never been outside of CA before, they stated that our car had been to their service station over and over (we later found out a previous owner took it to a location in Los Angeles, CA) and wanted to upsell everything (which we expected but declined as our car was in perfect running condition before we took it to this location). We thought everything was fine after we left until our car started having several code issues pop up, almost immediately after leaving. We had to replace our O2 sensor as it was somehow damaged in the oil change (it had just been replaced in September 2019 before we drove from CA to NJ), and had constant issues with our car now stalling when it had been completely fine before the oil change. We found out four days after the oil change that the employees never reconnected our hoses when they disconnected the air filter system in my car, which was causing all sorts of fuel injection errors. Rather than having this shady location touch my car again, we fixed it ourselves at our own cost. Do NOT trust Jiffy Lube to touch your car, this is not the first time a Jiffy Lube location has ruined a vehicle of mine but it sure is going to be the LAST. I will not ever return to another Jiffy Lube location and I highly recommend that nobody else does either. There are so many places to get an oil change these days that are so much more respectful to the owner and to the car itself. (Photos of the damage were posted in my google review online as well) read more

Spot on service; quick, detailed, and honest. Recommendations were balanced with reality, no crazy jobs were proposed. The folks at Jiffy Lube were respectful and courteous. Very glad the dealer could not take my car in, saved some bucks in the process! read more

I took my car in for an oil change and fully expected to be "upsold". This experience was straightforward and clear and I did not have to refuse any services suggested. I was in and out within 10 minutes...I hardly had a chance to get comfortable in the waiting room. By far the quickest and most pleasurable experience getting an oil change. read more

in the last week Today, I had to return to jiffy lube after getting an oil change yesterday because I found oil under the car (in my driveway). This happened once before with deferent car and I was told it was because of "residual oil". TOday when I returned they said it was because of the location of the filter. I went back because I had a $15 coupon, but it is still not worth it. Never again ..... read more

Took my car here a month and a half ago. A few days after I changed my oil here, I started noticing leaks on my drive way where I parked my car. A month and 1,000 miles later, to make sure I had the right amount of oil in my engine, I opened the cap, lo and behold, the oil was almost black. O_o. Took my car to my dealership and they thought I didn't change my oil in the past 10,000 miles. Hm... I wonder what really happened at Juffy Lube.... Please beware. read more

I took my car in for an oil change (it was very past due). They told me the service would take no longer than 20 minutes and they were right! They also made sure to walk me through what they were doing with the service and any added items that I was by no means obligated to purchase/have service done on - just informational purposes (which is awesome for me, because I am not very car service savvy). They made sure to tell me that I could come back for a "top off" of oil for up to 2 quarts within 3,000 miles - that this was part of their service but many people forget about it. Basically - they were informative, but not pushy, efficient, friendly and helpful. I will be taking our second vehicle in this week to have the signature service as well. read more

GREAT two oil changes ago, going again today. Other than the price (yes I agree with pricy synthetic...) These guys are the "fastest" in the market... done before you finish your coffee I assure you. They are very detailed... hope the price is good this morning... You can also take your car back in between oil changes if you need air in your tires, window washing fluid etc. Great job guys... small town, keep it up. read more
