Within 20 minutes of getting to his shop we were finished and back on the road. Even after leaving he sent me a text message checking on us and thanking us for supporting his business. I live all the way in Brooklyn NY and asked a local business owner if they could refer me somewhere I could trust to get me back on the road. They referred me to Direct Drive Diagnostics and when I got there, Thomas literally stopped what he was working on to assist me. This is arguably one of the best mechanic experiences I've ever had. Lisa the office Manager was a sweetheart and Thomas and his partner were able to assess what was wrong, and get my car up in running in roughly under 40 minutes. They were honest, hospitable, all had a great sense of humor and I felt welcomed and comforted that everything was going to be resolved. Engine broken - could you be a bit more specific?? They then charged me $50 per night (5 nights) after I chose not to do the work with them. They call me to pick it up and i do. I get 1 mile away and the BMW overheats. So they come retow it back to their place. More time goes by and they say is ready to be picked up again. So i go back to pick it up again. And sure enough about 30 miles later, the engine goes. Once again we have it towed back to these people. Wait another few weeks and another $600 and i picked it up this morning. Sure as you can believe i am stranded on the side of the road AGAIN. And they take no responsibility. Needless to say i will be hiring a lawyer.
