Stopped here again and Todd was great! So excited to be able to order lunch at breakfast! We shared a tuna salad sandwich with chips and it was delicious! And we made the most wonderful memories with fellow travelers!

Located at Sky Harbor Airport, Matt's is a great place for quick pre-flight drink or meal. Service is fast and pleasurable. Accessible seating.

    Todd, our awesome server

Stopped in for a quick lunch while waiting for our flight. The guys working behind the counter were so friendly and jovial that it instantly made me smile. We met a couple of others also stopping in and had such a fun time. Todd, our server, was very attentive and even offered to take a photo of us with our new friends. We ordered the Tuna Sandwich with Chips and it was delicious. I couldn't ask for better at an airport stop.

This was an incredible and unexpected airport diner. Maybe the best airport breakfast I have ever experienced.. seated quickly, waitress was sweet, food was excellent. Place was busy but open space. I'd highly recommend if u have a layover and u need breakfast. A+

2-egg breakfast with the upgrade to ham steak.

The food here was QUITE GOOD! Like, a good breakfast-- not a good airport breakfast but a genuine good breakfast! The upgrade to the ham steak was FAB! Eggs were perfect. Toast was super-tasty! The only thing that wasn't great was the service - slow to get a server, a little effort to pay. And they mostly want to cram you into high top shared seating but I get it-- they want to maximize the customers they can fit into their place. But the food was GREAT!!

This is the spot for a really delicious & fancy drink after a night long red eye or before take off. We also grabbed some grub to go as this places can be really busy. I like the spinach egg white omelette best. Kiddo likes his waffles & sausage. They have sit down, take out, and a bar. The service can be slow during high peak times and the ladies do a terrific job with the amount of people packed into the place. During high peak times expect long wait times this is the main eatery for this wing at the terminal.

It's an airport restaurant. I work at the airport and understand it's busy, but it's always sub par. The food portions are small and overpriced. Wait staff are almost always overworked and quite "over it" If you get the steak, order it Rare, otherwise it's going to be jerky. Even then, it still might be This place is making money for sure, but it shouldn't be.

This is a good airport breakfast for sure. Busy, busy but friendly service, was seated quickly and had my drink fast. Bloody Marie was good and the breakfast was yummy. Had the Matt,s big breakfast. I'll go back for sure

We love their food and service so much we asked if they would do us a favor and our son's Wedding and they agreed. Matt's Big Breakfast absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food was phenomenal from start to finish--crispy, perfectly cooked bacon, fluffy pancakes, and golden waffles that were rich, comforting, and done just right. The strawberry preserves paired beautifully with the warm sourdough toast, adding that perfect touch of sweetness and homemade flavor that sets a great breakfast apart. What truly made this experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. A huge shout-out to Ernie and her incredible team, who went above and beyond while preparing an exceptional catered meal for our son's wedding. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made the entire process seamless and stress free, with the additional service when food was delivered and esured the setup of food was perfect and ready to serve. Ernie and team went way above our expectations and we received many compliments on the dinner/breakfast served through out the night. Thank you Ernie/Matt's Big Breakfast

We have a two hour layover do we decided to eat breakfast at Matt's. I ordered the skinny breakfast, which is egg whites with Chicken apple sausage and spinach and a side salad. It tasted amazing . The portion was right, not too little and not too much food. The restaurant gets busy but the service is fast.

Horrible place - waited 45 minutes for a basic burrito and it never showed up. Embarrassing management and operations. Shut this place down.

We enjoyed some light bites as well - the Edamame Hummus and Shishito Peppers. Both were fantastic! I love that their menu points out which items are gluten-free... and our server even warned me that the plantain chips in the Edamame Hummus could have cross-contamination... so I very much appreciate that heads up! I opted to order them anyway and I am so glad I did - so good! And I experienced no gluten issues. Awesome! I'm already looking forward to a return trip! I love the giant disco balls and the aesthetic of this place. We started with the appletini and lemongrass highball (non-alcoholic). My friend and I ended up switching drinks because we liked each other's more than our own. For the second round, we ordered the brandy spritz and primrose martini. We weren't fans of the brandy spritz, although my friend grew into it. The primrose martini was quite good, I liked it better than the appletini. For snackies, we ordered the glizzy gaunlet, which was basically a tower of carbs. It came with 5 mini dogs with milk bread, and potato wedges. There were 3 sauces, my favorite in order were the: truffle dijonnaise, kosho aioli, and korean ketchup. We enjoyed this more than the food at Filthy Animal. Although it was pricey ($22) for just carbs and hardly any protein. The milk bread was delicious and the mini dogs were pretty good too. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would I return? Probably not. The food was better than the drinks but it wasn't outstanding.

The most recent was…read moreon a Thursday night around 10:30 p.m. This speakeasy is located on Mill Ave., the center of Tempe's party scene. Because of its location, parking isn't easy. If you're looking for free parking, you're going to have a long walk. Outside of that, you'll have to pay for parking in a garage or metered street parking. Ambiance (4/5): Hint hint. Idle Hands is located inside Devil's Hideaway. A true speakeasy shouldn't have signage outside indicating its location. Unfortunately, there's a sign for Idle Hands outside of Devil's Hideaway which takes away the sense of mystery and intrigue that a true speakeasy provides. Outside of this hiccup, it's a cool speakeasy. It's intimate, with 10 or so seats at the bar and about 10 seats in booths facing the bar. There's a projector screen behind the bar that had mystical motion graphics the first time I stopped by (thinking wizards) and Halloween motion graphics the second time (with it being a day before the holiday). There were some other Halloween decorations up. The only area of improvement? The music often doesn't match the vibe. A lot of the music they were playing on my last visit was Irish music that would be fitting for a pub. Service (4/5): I had the same bartender each time. He knows how to make a good drink and is pretty efficient. When you close out, he only gives you the merchant copy. Which is a pet peeve of mine. Let me get that customer copy too. But overall, a good experience. Especially at a college bar. Food (N/A): I've only had drinks both times. Idle Hands actually doesn't have food, but Devil's Hideaway does. And you're allowed to bring food from there into the speakeasy. Drinks (4.5/5): It's pretty surprising to see a speakeasy on a college campus. I was impressed with the creativity of the menu, both in terms of the ingredients used and the fusion of flavors. I've had a different cocktail each time, and they've all been great. My favorite was one served in a box filled with smoke. Talk about a cool presentation! The hallmarks of a solid speakeasy are elevated cocktails, nice ambiance (dimly lit), an intimate space, and mystery/intrigue. While the intrigue is lacking at Idle Hands, and the music can be improved, they hit it out of the park in the other areas. One of my favorite speakeasies I've been to in Phoenix (and surrounding areas). I am, after all, the self-appointed king of speakeasies. The king gives his stamp of approval.

I had an amazing tiki cocktail, the #180, with tasting notes of "boozy, tiki, donuts". My perfect combo :) I also loved the clarified punch I ordered, #69 "tropical, salty, and sweet". It was SO yummy. And we tried a Cocoa Butter Kisses shot- a very nice Amaro. The bartender was great-- attentive service and helpful recommendations. I definitely look forward to going back and trying other drinks.

The oysters are a must, the steak is cooked perfectly, and everything is plated so thoughtfully it really feels like a full experience, not just a meal. The dinner staff has also always been attentive, friendly, and on point. That said, I recently came in for brunch and had a very different experience. I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. I'll definitely be back for dinner, but I'd probably skip brunch next time.

Every single thing we had was dialed in, full of flavor, and you can tell there's real intention behind every dish that comes out. Service was just as on point. Super attentive, knew the menu, made great recommendations, and never overdid it. It just felt natural and easy the whole time. I started with Beware the Papparazzi. It's a vodka based cocktail that had a sweet, tart, yet balanced taste. It also came with a surprise that I won't spoil. I also had The Film Star which is essentially a Vesper. It was good, but extremely boozy! It came with caramel popcorn. The sweet and saltiness of the popcorn complimented the drink well.
