it was a complete scam. I went there cause my car had rough idling issues. they charged me $1400 and had it for 3 weeks and didn't solve the issue. my car is in fact worse . your better just lighting your money on fire than going to matrix. read more

Took my '05 MINI Cooper S here 2 years ago with a misfire and code for cylinder 1. It was bad enough for the computer to shut off fuel to the cylinder to protect the catalytic converter. I had already changed all of the ignition parts to no effect. I was leaving town for a few days so they had plenty of time. They called me back the next day to inform me that I needed a new injector, a $336 job (quite reasonable). When I returned to pick up the car I didn't get out of the parking lot without the problem returning. I also noticed that an additional 64 miles had been put on the car! The manager told me that they were making sure that everything was OK. Uh-huh. Since the car has an aftermarket ECU he didn't want to work on it any further unless I set it back to stock. Bottom line-I took the car to German Mastertech. They swapped the injector with a different cylinder which made no difference. Then they looked under the valve cover to discover a flattened cam lobe. $1800 later the car runs great! No very good diagnostics at this place and when they misdiagnosed the problem they looked for a way out. Just sayin'. read more

Great experience with our camper van. We had Matrix order the parts for a Van Compass 4:2 suspension install with rear sumo springs. We dropped it off in the morning, and they were kind enough to run my husband back to our hotel since the install would take all day. Outstanding customer service and business integrity! In February I had taken my 2019 X3 M40i for service at the local BMW dealership at which time I was advised I would need new brakes all-around within the next couple of months at an estimated cost of nearly $3100. So when my brake warning light came on in mid-April I was prepared for the major outlay of money I had been quoted. As my car is out of warranty I decided to look into a viable alternative to the dealership and happened upon Matrix Integrated. I did some research, including reading customer reviews, then called MI for a quote. Their quote was $800 less so I made an appointment and dropped my car off less than a week later. Within an hour I received a call from Trish advising that while my rear brakes needed to be replaced, my front brakes still had significant pad left. I agreed that only the rear would be replaced at this time and, per her suggestion, MI would flush the brake fluid. Shortly thereafter I received another call from Trish telling me it appeared the dealership had flushed the brake fluid in February so there was no need for MI to do it. What I thought was going to be a $2400 brake service turned out to be less than $1100. MI (and Trish!) has become my "go to" for all things BMW!! read more

The best automotive repair experience of my life. Was traveling from San Francisco to Bend when I lost high-end power with 200 miles to go. Called the Bend Mercedes dealer who recommended Matrix. It was mid-afternoon, yet they said to drop by so they could diagnose the issue. Upon arrival they were efficient, telling me that I needed a turbo hose which could be installed early Monday morning. Sure enough, as soon as it arrived on Monday they called me. The install went quickly, and they even allowed me to inspect some RV plumbing while the van was up on the rack. Contacted Jeremy Williams, owner, about a larger fuel tank for my Sprinter. I liked his videos and the fact they work on Sprinters. Set up a date and drive down from Washington . The shop is set up very nicely it's clean and well organized with lifts for Sprinters and German cars. Everyone there was very professional and knowledgeable. They got my E350 in within a day to get the oil changed, even gave me a ride back to my office. Also checked on other maintenance items and gave me a report on what should be looked at in the near future. They also filled up my windshield washer tank! Great service, immaculate shop. We found this shop on our way through Bend after we had a check engine warning light alert. We only had our Sprinter RV maintained at Mercedes dealerships and we were a bit uneasy using a independent shop. We were so impressed with their customer service and workmanship that they will now be our "go to" place. Not only did they resolve our issue (a glow plug went out) but we also had them do a oil service change. The mechanic was very thorough, noticed and resolved a few minor other issues and the manager was very communicative with our status, he even shuttled us to a brewery to wait out our time. We were referred to Matrix Integrated when the check engine light on our Mercedes Sprinter motorhome came on while coming into Bend. While they were busy with other jobs, they said come by and we'll read out the diagnostics so you can make a decision on whether you need an immediate repair, can proceed to a Mercedes Sprinter repair shop, or drive the 500-600 miles home. They spent about 1/2 hour with me getting the diagnostics and explaining the options. Then they insisted there was no charge for that service - an analysis for which my dealer charges about $80 in addition to any charges for the repairs.
