Daniel is simply the best in the business. From start to finish, he made sure I looked and felt my absolute best. The entire experience was first class. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for his clients are unmatched. He truly takes the time to understand exactly what you're looking for while also offering expert recommendations that elevate the final product beyond what you imagined. What separates Daniel is his eye for style and fit. He knows how to create a look that feels timeless, sharp, and completely personalized. The process felt like a true VIP experience from beginning to end. There honestly is nothing else like it. All three locations, Lake Forest, Chicago, and San Francisco are incredible and reflect the same level of quality and service. If you're thinking about getting into custom clothing, do not waste your time or money going anywhere else. You will not regret it for a second. In addition to my suit, I also had custom shoes, two custom shirts, suspenders, and other accessories made. Every single piece came out perfect. I couldn't be happier with the experience or the final result. Daniel absolutely crushed it. Excited to brainstorm the next suit!

The best quality suits I have ever worn with a fantastic selection of personalized options. Having worked with Daniel out of his San Fransisco location in California I was always wanting to visit his original space in Chicago. I finally had the opportunity and am so glad I was able to see where it all began. Daniel helped me lock in new styles I had never considered including a pinstripe and burgundy suit. They are my absolute favorite pieces of clothing and I get compliments whenever I wear them. The fit is perfect and I know I am looking my best whenever I go out or give presentations. Having shopped around with other tailors I can say Daniel's quantity to price is without match. I have been to 4 tailors over the years and did not know what good quality was, what makes material "good quality" nor what questions to ask. Daniel explained what makes a good suit, fit, look, style and now I know when I am getting the best quality to suit the situation. Daniel George suits are superior to any other tailor's work I have seen thus far. Previously I was told I was getting the "best" or the "latest style" however when I compare other suits made by other tailors to my Daniel George suits, I only end up wearing the clothes I have had made at DG. Would highly recommend coming to this location and going bespoke. You will not regret it.

In a nutshell: I've…read moreshopped here once before and DO NOT recommend purchasing anything online because if it doesn't fit, you are NOT getting your money back! No returns, only exchanges. If you do take a store credit, no proof of return and no voucher is given. You better just hope it went to your email. Customer service not so great in store. There are too many clothing stores in the world to go through the hassle here. The story: I purchased a jean dress online earlier this week. I usually wear a size small but the dress that I ordered was really tight so I ended up physically going to the store to exchange the dress. Well, they only had one medium size left (the one on the mannequin) so I walked up to the guy at the cash register to ask for help and he had a hard time deciding whether or not he should pause his conversation on the telephone to help me out. He ended up putting the phone down for two seconds to help me out and helped me to the dressing room. I tried the dress on, it fit perfect, but then I noticed that there was a hole on the side of the dress (looked like a moth got a hold of it). The guy says (while holding the phone to his ear, "I can fix the hole." Ummm, no thank you! I thought it was the weirdest thing. Why would I want to purchase a dress with a patched up hole on the side? So I then tell him that I just want to return the dress. Him: Do you want a credit or would you like to exchange the dress? Me: No thank you, I just want my money back. Well they dont accept returns, even though I bought that dress that same week and even though the last medium had a moth hole in it. Anyways, I tried on a different dress and guess what??? Another freaking moth hole. I didn't see anything else I liked so I just had to take the store credit. So I was waiting for him to give me a voucher and NO VOUCHER! He say's it's in your email. Well guess what, I don't have that email connected to my phone so I basically had to leave the store and take his word for it because I didn't need them having my personal email. No receipt, no voucher, absolutely no proof that I returned the dress. TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE HERE and 50 bucks gone if I don't see anything else I like. And 50 bucks gone if there is no email.
