We arranged to visit the cats as a treat and enjoyed a superb cup of coffee and lunch today. From the moment we stepped inside, we saw that the café has blended vintage style with modern comfort beautifully, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The cozy décor, soft ambiance, and carefully arranged seating make it easy to relax. Moreover, what makes this café especially unique is its thoughtfully designed, separate cat lounge; it offers a calm, enriching environment for its cats. We were able to completely unwind and appreciated their calming presence as we played with rod toys, introduced tube treats, and relaxed when they napped close to us. It was a happy and soothing experience. The Vintage Cat Café is an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch or a cozy coffee break because the menu complements the relaxed atmosphere. We thought that the culinary offerings were impressive, from expertly crafted coffee to a tantalizing selection of homemade pastries and hearty lunchtime treats, and everything is prepared with care and quality in mind. We recommend the spicy chicken wraps, particularly for guests who appreciate food that combines flavour with a hint of heat; these were delicious. Beyond the décor, the cats, and the food, what truly sets this cafe apart is the welcoming, knowledgeable staff who are enthusiastic about exceptional service and animal welfare. We found that their dedication is evident in every interaction with their customers, and this contributes to an experience that feels genuine and heartfelt. The Vintage Cat Cafe is more than just a café; you leave feeling genuinely uplifted, and whether you stop by for the coffee, homemade treats, charming vintage ambiance, or the one-of-a-kind cat lounge, you will have an unforgettable experience. We were planning our next visit before we even walked out the door.

She got to pick the booth she wanted and there's even a chair for that picture perfect moment. There are unicorn onesies for adults but I didn't try it on. I did buy her a unicorn headband from the restaurant which we took turns wearing (I'm living out my dream too). They sell unicorn Fanny packs (which I wish I saw earlier-- we'll get matching ones next time), purses, popsicle molds, etc. We ordered: - rainbow grilled cheese (amazing length when pulling- mozzarella) - strawberry milkshake (plenty to share, cotton candy unicorn hair, cupcake to hold the marshmallow horn, marshmallow ears, etc). Adorable and she loved the taste. - crispy fries with a soft inside. It's like Costco fries but more crispy on the outside. It was a hit for us. Housemade ketchup or not your typical Heinz ketchup which I appreciated. - flying magic noodle (typical noodles but it had that wow factor for my niece. The noodles were tender which makes it easier for her to chew. My only suggestion is more noodles so there's more magic in the bowl as my kids don't often eat their veggies). - I did grab a banh mi takeout but it wasn't very authentic as expected. Just wanted to try my luck! In terms of how we order, we scan the QR code that's linked with our table. We look at the menu and choose our quantity/selections. Then they bring the food to your table. You pay at the end. Food came out in about 20 mins. Overall-- 10/10 "best day ever" from my adorable niece. The joy from her face made this visit priceless. I'd come again!!!!

Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. It could have more Nutella but it was free with a checkin so I really couldn't complain.

Coming from the western United States, my daughter made a list of about 15 places in Toronto she wanted to go ... And this place was #1 on her list! After reading the reviews, my wife and I told her it might not be what we expected, but it was everything we hoped it to be! We went a little after noon on a Friday in August and the place was completely empty when we walked in. Torched Salmon Bowl - perfectly seared and flavorful salmon in a cute presentation. Mango Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Great dessert! Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Tasty Ube Coconut Toile Paper Rolls - Yumm! Vietnamese Coffee and Lyche Sakura Soda Downsides -We ordered a Lychee Poop Waffle but were given the Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo. We wanted to experience the waffle but were fine with the Bing-Poo because it was good! -If you are tall, going to the bathroom (whether it be 1 or poo) it was not be fun with a shirt ceiling. -I asked if I could hold our six-year-old as they rolled the ice cream (toilet paper), which is something she's never seen before and they said "No, that's something we don't do." I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. Our 2 year old spilled the entire Lychee Sakura Soda before we even took a sip and they cleaned it up for us and gave us a new one!

I love ginger beverages- it wasn't overpowering here, I mostly tasted the kiwi and sparkling lemonade. It was busy in there but we still got our orders and drinks quickly, I appreciate how fast the service was. My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen.

I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. Definitely a must-visit if you love cozy cafés, unique drinks, and supporting local artists.
