Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. It could have more Nutella but it was free with a checkin so I really couldn't complain.

Coming from the western United States, my daughter made a list of about 15 places in Toronto she wanted to go ... And this place was #1 on her list! After reading the reviews, my wife and I told her it might not be what we expected, but it was everything we hoped it to be! We went a little after noon on a Friday in August and the place was completely empty when we walked in. Torched Salmon Bowl - perfectly seared and flavorful salmon in a cute presentation. Mango Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Great dessert! Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Tasty Ube Coconut Toile Paper Rolls - Yumm! Vietnamese Coffee and Lyche Sakura Soda Downsides -We ordered a Lychee Poop Waffle but were given the Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo. We wanted to experience the waffle but were fine with the Bing-Poo because it was good! -If you are tall, going to the bathroom (whether it be 1 or poo) it was not be fun with a shirt ceiling. -I asked if I could hold our six-year-old as they rolled the ice cream (toilet paper), which is something she's never seen before and they said "No, that's something we don't do." I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. Our 2 year old spilled the entire Lychee Sakura Soda before we even took a sip and they cleaned it up for us and gave us a new one!

They also have other food items to choose from such as mac and cheese, burgers, nachos, and a potato. They all looked so good! I do prefer the Snakes & Lattes College location but the Annex location isn't bad. Overall, I love how there's always something going on and how there's so many board games to learn and play. I would recommend reserving a table in advance as the place does get really busy.

It's conveniently located, has a large game selection, and has pretty decent bites. Of course, the prices have increased a lot since I've first visited like 10 years ago. Like... a lot. They used to be one of the few board games cafes around but this price increase now makes it a little less appealing than other cafes that have opened up over the years that offer a much lower table charge. The current price here is $20 but it does come with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks (drip coffee, tea, pop and juice), and they do have a LARGE game selection - like... into the thousands. There are reservations but they don't accept them during their peak hours (after 4 pm on fridays and the weekend). Reservations are also for three hours. And apparently there's trivia every single Tuesday! I do prefer other cafes these days but you can't go wrong with visiting this classic.

The idea is that you can book time with the puppies and help socialize them, giving them treats, petting them and taking pictures, etc. First thing that came to mind was downward dog with a puppy, hmmmmm. The dogs are part of a collab with a breeder where the puppies get to have some fun with guests here while the people get to smile and enjoy their company. The cafe is a work in progress where there will be coffees available at the front so you can enjoy their vibe without having to book a session and enjoy a latte while doing so. Big white fluffy dogs are definitely not available at Starbucks so this place should be a hit with dog-crazy Toronto!

My only complaint was the bento deals are for takeout only. But I'm coming back for sure!

However, I thought the instruction we received was rushed; the way our instructor was speaking was monotonous, as if they instructed the same class 100 times prior. Several times throughout the class, the instructor tried to upsell us (eg "healing crystals"), which I was not a fan of, considering what we already paid for the class. The class lasted an hour; you can select your scent, vessel, and name of the candle. We paid $250 for a couple, plus tip for the Glowness Experience, which is their more premium class. Based on the instruction we received, and the quality of the class, I think this is a bit over priced.
