Service was a bit slow so they get 4.5 stars. Sakura matcha was layered, which was pretty. Each layer had its own pleasant flavour. After mixing I couldn't really taste the Sakura, but it was still a good rich matcha drink. The chewy pearls at the bottom had a nice texture. Poop waffle was warm & crisp & came in a Japanese style toilet. There was a choice of custard, red bean or Nutella but I chose to hew to the theme. The crumb was fluffy & quite fragrant. It could have more Nutella but it was free with a checkin so I really couldn't complain.

Coming from the western United States, my daughter made a list of about 15 places in Toronto she wanted to go ... And this place was #1 on her list! After reading the reviews, my wife and I told her it might not be what we expected, but it was everything we hoped it to be! We went a little after noon on a Friday in August and the place was completely empty when we walked in. Torched Salmon Bowl - perfectly seared and flavorful salmon in a cute presentation. Mango Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Great dessert! Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo - Tasty Ube Coconut Toile Paper Rolls - Yumm! Vietnamese Coffee and Lyche Sakura Soda Downsides -We ordered a Lychee Poop Waffle but were given the Lychee Korean Snow Bing-Poo. We wanted to experience the waffle but were fine with the Bing-Poo because it was good! -If you are tall, going to the bathroom (whether it be 1 or poo) it was not be fun with a shirt ceiling. -I asked if I could hold our six-year-old as they rolled the ice cream (toilet paper), which is something she's never seen before and they said "No, that's something we don't do." I don't think it would've harmed anybody and we wouldn't have been in anybody's way if I just held her and let her watch the process. I know I've watched, other places as they have done this. Our 2 year old spilled the entire Lychee Sakura Soda before we even took a sip and they cleaned it up for us and gave us a new one!

It's conveniently located, has a large game selection, and has pretty decent bites. Of course, the prices have increased a lot since I've first visited like 10 years ago. Like... a lot. They used to be one of the few board games cafes around but this price increase now makes it a little less appealing than other cafes that have opened up over the years that offer a much lower table charge. The current price here is $20 but it does come with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks (drip coffee, tea, pop and juice), and they do have a LARGE game selection - like... into the thousands. There are reservations but they don't accept them during their peak hours (after 4 pm on fridays and the weekend). Reservations are also for three hours. And apparently there's trivia every single Tuesday! I do prefer other cafes these days but you can't go wrong with visiting this classic.

They also have other food items to choose from such as mac and cheese, burgers, nachos, and a potato. They all looked so good! I do prefer the Snakes & Lattes College location but the Annex location isn't bad. Overall, I love how there's always something going on and how there's so many board games to learn and play. I would recommend reserving a table in advance as the place does get really busy.

I loved the colours and presentation so much! The grilled chicken was tender and juicy and all the veggies and rice were delicious. I felt like a had a really balanced, healthy meal. I could eat like this every day! My server was friendly and gave fast service. The place was surprisingly empty for 12 noon lunch time on a Wednesday. It's a beautiful, large space mainly for playing board games. And you have to go upstairs to second floor and then to the back area to order. My only complaint was the bento deals are for takeout only. But I'm coming back for sure!

I originally wanted to do something outdoors, but thank goodness we didn't because the heat was brutal. We all went with the combo deal: 1 drink, 1 meal, 1 dessert, and 3 hours of game time. I showed up about 40 minutes late so I told them to start without me although they will charge u extra more if play over time. From the outside it looks small, but the inside is actually a good size with plenty of space. We each tried one of their signature dishes, and everything came out looking really nice. The dessert was tasty but a bit too sweet for my taste. It probably pairs better with tea. But let me tell you the dragon fruit mango drink was so good, one of my friends ordered it twice! The service is pretty good! They have a lot of game options, variety of food and drinks to choose from. They also sells cute pins, candles etc. Just a really fun and cozy vibe overall. Perfect spot for a chill hangout, casual date, or group gathering.

We got our drinks (included in the candle making class), while waiting for others to show up for the session. Once in the room, we were instructed by our candle teacher how to mix notes and scents together, it was super fun; especially for my two girls and surprisingly for mr. Tran too. Such a cute thing to bring your family to, or even a date night.

It was a nice activity and the instructor shared some basic candle knowledge with us. Sadly, it's not as hands on as I thought. You first smell the scents on the pre-set sticks, pick three, glue the wick on, mix three pre-measured scent bottles into the pre-poured hot wax, mix, pour into candle jar and wait. I could probably have done this is in 15 min. Majority of the class is the instructor describing the scents, explaining the different notes, teaching how to burn candles, selling things to add on, etc. We then spent another 20-30 min just waiting for the candle to set. I have been to other candle, soap, perfume making classes that were more hands-on. So maybe this felt very beginner. My candle also set funny (sunk in) and I think the wax they provided was clumpy. I did a diy candle making kit at home and it set so nicely so not sure what happened here. I did their glowness lab which is a little more expensive because it "incorporate essential oils, colour therapy and the healing power of crystals". The color therapy meant different color jars to pick from and the crystals were an additional $10 to purchase. With the 50% off it came to $62 for the class. I had fun because it was with a friend but I don't think I would really recommend this or come back. It's borderline worth it for $60, definitely not for $120.

Coffee, though, I'm not sold yet. I had a cortado and the espresso-to-milk ratio felt way off, so hard to judge overall. It also seemed like the barista might've just been having an off day. That said, the vibe is great. Tucked away, cozy, with some hidden outdoor seating too. It's the kind of place you'd come to get work done or catch up with friends. Overall: Strong on atmosphere and food, but I'd need a second visit to properly judge the coffee.

The yellow and blue exterior fits the name perfectly--so cute and inviting. It was also easy to find, which is always a plus. It was quite busy around 10:30 a.m., with a steady mix of dine-in and takeout customers. I noticed they also have a patio that would be especially lovely during warmer weather. The menu feels Asian-fusion inspired, with a wide variety of unique drinks and plenty of snack options (as you can see from the photo I posted). I ordered the matcha mochi, which was perfect--not overly sweet with a wonderfully soft, chewy texture. I also tried the Iced Cookie Butter Latte, a winter special. It was good, though not quite amazing. The coffee itself could be stronger and the cookie butter flavor could also be more evident. I did appreciate the touch of cinnamon, which added a nice warmth. That said, the drink prices can add up quickly. The latte was $7, and there were additional charges to have it iced and served in a takeout cup. And so, I'd expect better flavor, given the price point. Service was friendly, though not particularly memorable. Overall, it's a charming spot with a fun menu and a cozy atmosphere--definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
