Full Stop Coffee is one of the go-to coffee spots in the Junction neighbourhood. They offer a decent selection of both coffee and non-coffee beverages, cookies, and sandwiches. While I don't drink coffee myself, I thought their tea lattes and ciders were good. The space has airy feel with plenty of seating, and free WiFi for those who plans to do some work or studying here. There's also a large space in the back perfect for collaborative work or group meetings. For those who enjoy the outdoors, the patio in the back opens up when the weather is nice. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. However, because there's usually only one person working, the service can be a bit slow, especially if you drop in during a busy moment with lots of people. read more

The cafe space has a chill vibe and the bright "sup" wall as well as the lego art on the wall bring character to the place. Due to current pandemic restrictions, Full Stop is currently take out only. The cafe has altered the space to make sure there is a one way flow of traffic with social distancing reminders throughout (along with mask wearing + hand sanitizer when you enter). I stopped by Full Stop about a month ago to grab a flat white. The coffee was made well and was strong - definitely woke me up! Overall, good coffee and chill vibes. Great indie café in The Junction, complete with Dax chairs and 80s music...usually. Really good Americanos ($3), free wi-fi for the writers, and chill staff. Lighting is a bit dim, the deeper you go. Most of the baked goods are baked on-site. They also offer some food items, not a whole lot though. Be aware that some of the vintage tables are wobbly, so with one tip, your coffee will spill. We were exploring the Junction & wanted to stop for a quick bite and coffee before continuing. We had a bacon breakfast sandwich and a lemon blueberry loaf as well as an americano ($3.25) and a latte ($4.50). I loved the mirrors down the hallway by the bathrooms. You could actually use the mirrors to check if there was anyone going down the hall or occupying the bathrooms. It was such a creative placement of the mirrors. I loved the interior space. We occupied the area in the back with the pencil wall. It was quiet and cozy. I loved the decor and I think it definitely works with the atmosphere for the space. The staff there were also very friendly & kind. I had my americano black and the flavour was very robust. The latte was very smooth. I'm glad I made a full stop here for their coffee. read more

Great and unique café. Decor and music transports you more then 50 years into the past. One of the bigger cafes in Toronto. You could fit about 40 people in here. They're are many electrical power outlets along the bench seating but the WiFi tested at a very weak 4/1. If they had better WiFi I would have given 5 stars. Service was friendly. They have many coat hooks on the front wall which would be convenient in winter or the rain. I think it's a good place to get some work done if you tether. read more

Was in the area so decided to stop by a cafe and catch up on some reading. There isn't any signage out front so you'll have to peek in for familiar sightings but follow the map directions and you'll be fine. Not my favourite cafe in terms of interior design but there are some interesting pieces inside, like lego shelves if I remember correctly. Lighting is also dim. It is pretty busy, however! There were a couple seats left when I arrived at 1pm. Maybe this is because it was the lunch rush but the spot was full with many people just chatting and others doing work on their laptops. I got their banana bread and a vanilla latte. The banana bread is a bit hard but tasted good otherwise. Staff is also very friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, because nothing really stood out to me but I'd stop by if I was passing and there was nothing else available! A wonderful place but if you want to spend some time to do work--come early. Laptop central, definitely busy. A very casual atmosphere and simple... baked goods are all done in house and coffee is good. Latte wasn't anything more than decent. Full Stop is a cool cafe with a classic, old-school, rock playlist, friendly and hipster baristas, and good to average coffee. The cortado ($4) was nice, but not as smooth or strong as I would have liked, with some acidic and bitter aftertaste. It is a good place to catch up with friends (maybe my more urban and hip friends), but there is no outdoor seating. According to past reviews it seemed like it was a good place to get some work done with reliable WiFi. Despite there being a decent amount of seating and outlets, the WiFi was not functional until just about when I was leaving. Though I realize this is not their fault, just beware if you are looking for a good place to do work! read more

I am obsessed with their house roast. It's dark, full bodied and brews an amazing cup of coffee. I've been here a couple times and have had nothing but great espresso. Americano is strong, latte has a good milk to espresso ratio, hot chocolate was just ok but we are talking coffee here. I purchased half a pound of their house roast and prepare French press at home. It's so good!!!! I'm obsessed. Vibes are also cool, had an old school feel to it and when I say school I mean elementary school. Ample seating, right on Dundas. Damn!!!! this place looks cool was my initial thought. Some sophisticated Lego art on the walls (original sort of) a huge airplane on the back wall and a hefty amount of seating and a patio you need to GPS so you can find it. I bought my friend a chair out of this place in Kensington Market "Bungalow" and I can swear this must be the same owner because it looks just like that place. Now to the real stuff..Coffee....first of all the La Spaziale is the worst of the worst espresso machines on the market, so to save my palette from disaster I order one of their Americanos. $2 not bad . The barista a handsome fellow is absolutely not interested in conversation. I can see the nice lady in front is clamming to get his attention (dude the cool hipster barista thing is so '08, get over yourself). I get my Americano and proceed to find this Patio......should not need to have to go outside to find the darn thing. Frustration has now set in, but I am hopeful that the coffee is at least going to taste good and this place is actually concerned with the quality of their products instead being a gimmicky cafe that just looks cool (i.e. Tarbucks). Well... now I am nervous, as the women and there $3000 carriages just tossed there Americanos and my hand has lost a layer of skin do to the scorching hot water in my cup. Uh Oh!! but here goes nothing. Instead of trashing the coffee because it was way to hot and just a tad bit past the tolerable chocolate point. Meaning bitter of course. I will give you a one star and never return. But I would give you a 5 star bump for the cool toys you put together and glued to a wall. Hint. Work on you goods and tell your Barista that a cool hipster who digs coffee should know how to make a good one before that snob thing can even begin to be part of his personality. I really like this place. It's a high ceiling, very spacious, trendy coffee shop. Orange chairs and bold colours in the wall. This might not be for you if you're a traditional, dark wood kind decor person. The service is hit or miss, sometimes chatty and sometimes not, but always friendly. The cookies are to die for. The browned butter Choco chip and pecans- yum. Restored my faith in baked good, let me tell you. All baked goods and food is made on the premises, things taste fresh and considering this, the prices are reasonable ($5 breakfast pastry; $2 cookies; $10 sandwiches). The coffee is good as well, $2 Americano, to the $4.50 mocha. They have a cute patio that is hidden and around the corner- I quite like this hidden gem, you can even just order from the back which is a cool feature to by pass the shop and have a patio to yourself and a friend. Unfortunately, my experience at this place was dismal at best. Overpriced, lousy customer service and no table service. I get more attention at Starbucks just down the street along with a friendly demeanor from staff who at this placed seemed to just be lounging around behind the counter either on their phones or just standing around and chatting. The decor is modern and funky which draws you in but all of the above repels you in the other direction. With so much choice nowadays, I would think any business owner would realize that a competitively priced menu and a simple smile from staff go a long way. I dare say that I find my occasional coffee run at McDonald's a more pleasant experience. If in the area, go down the street to either Starbucks or Tims and save your money for other experiences in the area. read more

I really like this place. The coffee is good and strong. There's lots of seating. Saturday mornings when the parenting centre gets out are a nightmare though. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing and they press them in the sandwich maker. I have to say I developed an expensive habit of double lattes and a sandwich every morning. This is my new favourite place. I tend to go everyday at least once before CrossFit. The staff are all super friendly and you can sort of get a sense that they like working there also because they are always around even when they are not working (like just hanging out on their laptops and chatting with people). The interior is open, bright, and fresh. It's a good change from all the other cafés in the area and really helps Full Stop stand out. They have a pretty sweet breakfast special where you can get an americano and a breakfast pastry for $5 before 9am (after 9am the breakfast pastry alone is $5), and they are delicious. The breakfast pastries are just one of the crazy number of items they prepare in house, which is unique to all the other cafes in the area. Along with cookies, muffins, scones, and breakfast pastries, they also serve sandwiches and even cake (they are freaking nuts). The coffee is pretty fantastic. Friends of mine who never before commented on coffee are telling me that Full Stop is their favourite coffee. They serve almond milk too which I appreciate. For whatever reason both the cafe and the back patio (which is super nice) are always swarmed with flies or wasps. I guess the open kitchen in the cafe attracts the flies, but the wasps in the back are a mystery. They can also completely ruin hanging out at Full Stop. So unless it's too cold for insects, I usually scout the area first- if there are too many bugs I'll just grab my drink to go. It can be annoying. I think they could use some more consistency in their signage. The Full Stop sign in the window is pretty bold and clean (just like the café's interior is), but everywhere else is hand-written menus, and tags which are sometimes just harder to read. read more

I drop by here pretty often when I'm in the Junction. There's a handful of cafes in the neighbourhood, but Full Stop is easily my go-to when I need that caffeine hit. As others have noted, with $2 Americanos you can't really go wrong. They are tasty and well-made. I usually like to pair my java with one of their peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that are sort of hearty but not too heavy. It's a great treat! Overall, the place is spacious. But one thing I really like about this place is their large front windows where you can sit at a stool or at the nearby green couch. The windows get a lot of sun and it's quite nice! I've also noticed they have a small selection of vintage magazines up front if you're into that sort of thing. read more

I ordered an espresso shot once. ONCE. If you're looking for a good espresso, find a Nova Era location near you for a proper one. Somebody else mentioned a fly problem. I've noticed this too. I adore this place! Sure maybe it's a little hipster, but so is the neighbourhood. Stopped in here after getting horrible service at a berry crap place nearby and Full Stop is my new favorite! More affordable with nicer decor and a patio. This place and its staff have been friendly (or at least polite) and convenient for me when I am solo, with kids or with adult friends. The lattes are delicious and everything smells great. My toddler son and I split a sweet potato brownie and it was super yummy. I also really like that they have a loyalty card. read more

I've been coming here weekly for the past month now with the moms from the OEYC a few doors down. What I really enjoy is the fact that we all bring our strollers in and the staff and patrons never complain. $2 Americanos. Can't really complain. I only get the decaf version so I can't say if it's actually tasty or I'm just desperate. I've tried the caramel carrot cake and it was delicious. Then I tried the Gluten Free sweet potato brownie. Wow. That thing was loaded with sugar. I know I was eating a sweet dessert but I might as well have been chewing on a sugar cube dipped in syrup.
