Morning Parade Coffee Bar is located in the east end of the city near Gerrard and Woodbine. The cafe is locally owned by a couple (where they quit their day jobs and decided to pursue their dreams of opening up a cafe) and offers caffeinated beverages, pastries, and even uniquely crafted sandwiches. They use Sam James coffee beans and have Sloane teas as well. The interior of the coffee shop is warm and inviting which allows customers to stay as long as they please talking or working (there is wifi!). I recently dropped by Morning Parade Coffee Bar for a Yelp event recently. Other Yelpers and I were able to try a variety of scones, pastries, freshly made sandwiches (the piri piri chicken, tofu banh mi, and the breakfast sandwich are all must gets!) while mingling with the owners. Food, especially the sandwiches, were delicious (as everything is also local as well)! A definite neighbourhood gem and not to be missed if you are around the area. Great coffee/food as well as welcoming vibes. Would definitely come back if I am ever around the area.

This is a lovely coffee shop that is 100% neat, decent and what not! Not just the interiors but also the customer service and food or drinks is on point. I went here for a yelp event, i would have gone there anyways as another friend recommended me. The owners are from the same neighbourhood and really know what they are doing - i also think they chose a great location. I am yet to try the actual coffee drinks but i got to try Jeff's sandwiches that he usually makes for Morning parade, you won't believe that vegan sandwiches could taste that good. Also the raspberry croissants- mind blowing, i am definitely going back to eat it again. Overall it was an amazing experience i had with the store and definitely making it to the shop whenever i am in the neighbourhood

It was a nice coffee shop. Coffee was good and baked goods are okay. It is convenient to grab a cup of coffee in the morning if you are a morning coffee drinker.

I've wanted to come here for a very long time and now they are open Sundays! I came in on a snowy Sunday and we were greeted very warmly upon entering. The café has high ceilings which gives a very spacious appearance. The walls are adorned with art and murals. Seats around 15 with plenty of room to spare. Great for parents - Lots of room for children to run around. There are high chairs, children's books and toys. For working there are large desks, electrical power outlets and Wifi. The WiFi tested at 120/26. So it's also a good place to work. The kid ordered a hot chocolate and I ordered the double espresso. We also got a Cinnamon croissant and a granola berry muffin. Overall, it's a great café for whatever your needs. I definitely recommend and will be adding to my collections.

Morning Parade Coffee is a new Coffee joint in Toronto's East End by Woodbine and Gerrard. There's a nice selection of drinks, pastries and sandwiches. If you're a vegan, they have an amazing tofu banh mi sandwich, and if not, there's an amazing chicken sandwich among other meaty options. The atmosphere is really cozy and cute, and the owners and staff are extremely hospitable making sure we were well taken care of.

A very lovely coffee shop. It's a family owned cafe who serves delicious pastries and various drinks. All the pastries are from the local neighborhood. However, this place is perfect for lunch. They have a chef that specializes in delicious sandwiches! My favorite is the tofu sandwich. Perfect texture and lots of flavor. Drink wise, I had their ice tea because it was a little too late to try their coffee. However, I will be back for a coffee date with my friends. The owners are extremely friendly and they will tailor your drinks to your liking making sure you are welcomed and comfortable.

Checking ou this new cafe! :)

Mmmmm delish drinks and delectable sandwiches. Only wished it were closer to me. But i just know that it will thrive as a neighbourhood staple. Will definitely visit again in the summer :) enjoy a latte and a bahn mi :)

Finally tried The Brick Room on Temperance! I've been a frequent customer at the Brookfield…read morelocation, so I wanted to make an extra effort to try the "newer" location. To be honest, the store and decor are so much better than the original store. Maybe because there's usually more traffic in the PATH, so it takes more time for them to keep up? Anyways, the store was cozy and clean and I felt extra welcomed as soon as I stepped in. I got my usual flat white and of course it came with latte art :) They sell more beans and merchandise than the original store, so definitely check it out if you have a chance!

Had high hopes for this one. Left with a lighter wallet and mixed feelings…read more I get that matcha prices in Toronto have gotten a bit out of hand lately, and that's more of a city-wide problem than something specific to The Brick Room. But $12 for a small drink that's mostly ice is a tough sell. Two drinks and a breakfast sandwich came to $36, which stung a little more when we sat down for a full lunch for two people right after for a similar amount. To put it in perspective: a venti matcha latte with milk alternatives at Starbucks run under $8. When did Starbucks become the budget option? The cafe itself is cute and the staff were genuinely friendly, which counts for something. But there weren't any proper tables to actually sit and enjoy your drinks, which felt like a bit of an oversight for a cafe experience. The drinks were fine. Mine had a sparkling milk in it, which was a fun and unique touch. But in terms of taste, nothing really wowed me or made me want to order it again. The breakfast sandwich was a letdown too. Honestly, a McMuffin would've been more satisfying. Cute spot with good energy, but the value just isn't there. Hard to justify coming back when so many other cafes in the city deliver more for less.
