I've been to Bud's Coffee Bar throughout the years every time I am in the beaches neighbourhood. I've seen them throughout the years where they went from a small shop with a few seats to only having a take out window during the pandemic. Now they have plenty of seating for guests to enjoy their beverages and pastries. Every time at Bud's the service is friendly and the coffee is great. I usually get a cappuccino or a cortado which is always made at a reasonable time. There are plenty of cozy corners for which you can enjoy your caffeine. Moreover, they also sell pastries as well as coffee beans as well. Great neighbourhood coffee shop that has kept me coming back for years every time I'm in the beaches neighbourhood! Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. I absolutely plan to go back for one of their seasonal matcha beverages and to get away from it all. 5/5

I'm obsessed with their croissants. Perfect balance of soft, buttery and flakey. The staff here are so phenomenal and the warm environment is what really keeps me coming back. P.S. my husband is a big fan of the saudi coffee! Not my cup of tea...er, coffee lol but he's the real coffee snob, so I'll take his word for it.
