Sounds like this may be an unpopular opinion but I would say the Noble Pig was mid at best. We came…read morein after a long day at a nearby hockey tournament so it was definitely a full house, but based on rave reviews we were expecting much more than what we received. The ambiance was chill and the booths were roomy and comfortable but sadly that was probably the highlight of the meal. The server was ok but not overly friendly or attentive by any means. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, a pulled pork "bowl" and a small pizza. Nothing too crazy or over the top so we figured it was pretty simple and would be relatively fast. To our surprise it took a solid 40 minutes. We figured that one of the dishes may have taken a bit longer so we stayed patient, but when the food was served it was lukewarm nearing cold. The food was nothing special but maybe could have gotten another star had it been served hot. Sadly disappointed to be quite honest, the best part of the actual meal itself was the side of French fries that accompanied the pulled pork sandwich. Sadly, the menu prices definitely did not match the quality of food or rave reviews.

We were seated right away by a friendly host and our server who was super helpful throughout our visit. While we dined, the place got much busier and had a nice buzz to it. It had a distinct theme inside that aligns with its name and its selection of flagship brews. As I mentioned, we were hungry after a long drive so we obviously over ordered. We started with the Triple Threat Pull Apart Bread and the Crispy Pickles. Both were amazing! The bread was so soft and delicious and the pickles were savoury, but also spicy! Be warned! My partner ordered the Stuffed Yorkies because they weren't something we'd seen on a menu before. He loved them! The dish was three Yorkshire puddings stuffed full so it was also HUGE. I got the Flagship Mac and, honestly, for a place with multiple macs on the menu, it was remarkably unremarkable, unfortunately. Don't be discouraged, though! The quality of the rest of the food was so high that it made up for that tiny miss. If you're in Kamloops, check out The Noble Pig. They also have a great patio!

I guessed either this place was good or there ain't much options in Salmon Arm. Why two stars? The food was not that good and the tables were quite tight. People kept bumping my chair when they walked behind me. Not sure why they could not walk on the other side of our table which didn't have anyone sitting there. It was quite annoying. The service could also be better. Our water glasses were not topped up unless we flagged down our server. I had the halibut burger which sounded amazing in the description. Poached in white wine and served with lime aioli. Unfortunately the fish was on the dry side and I barely discerned any wine at all. The saving grace was the yam fries which I upgraded for 1/2 Caesar salad and 1/2 yam fries at $3 more. Those were good. Very small portion of the Caesar salad though. My travel partner didn't like the fried chicken burger at all. The chicken was hard and dry. The server gave extra chipotle Mayo sauce but it didn't help much. Popeyes chicken burger was way better. Overall this was quite a disappointing meal. Maybe people come here for the beer only.

A lot of money went into this beautiful facility a couple of miles south of Kelowna. We had a late lunch at the restaurant, which is dramatically positioned overlooking the valley. It was very popular with the "in" crowd. We were definitely outnumbered by YSL purses. I'd like to say that the food was good, but it wasn't. The "Crispy Mushrooms" were particularly ghastly: a mushy mushroom with mushy batter around it, topped with flavorless lentils, and on top of a good horseradish sauce that couldn't fix it. With lunch we had glasses of the chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, and cabernet franc. The wine was okay, but nothing we would purchase. Despite the receipt saying "estate" most of these grapes were brought in from elsewhere because of the freeze damage. The sauvignon blanc came all the way from New Zealand. They're definitely trying to deal with a cold climate here, which tends to favor austere whites, not really our style.

We had a beautiful window seat on the patio, which made the experience even more special. The food quality was great! I don't think we had a single dish we didn't enjoy. My personal favorite was the burrata salad, which I shared with my dad. Every ingredient in the salad was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The only critique I have is that I wish there were à la carte options. Some of us didn't feel like having a full three-course meal, so a bit more flexibility would've been nice.
