Been meaning to try this place and stopped in today. There were many drink options here even a refresher. But I wanted a coffee taste. They do not have decaf options at all for the coffee and tea. However, I just did a single shot of espresso since I wanted to try something. I opted for gingerbread and dark brown sugar syrup flavors in my drink and it tasted great. I asked for strawberry cold foam too. The cafe is very nice decorated and perfect to hold a meeting or do some work alone. I think prices are a little expensive, but I can say the quality was very much including in the pricing. So it balances itself.

A beautiful, spacious cafe that is great for getting some work done or meeting with friends. Expansive coffee and pastry menu, albeit a little overpriced. I enjoyed my drinks and time here, and the baristas were friendly! Would come back.

First time trying Matari! Located in the back of a strip mall, this place is truly a hidden gem. My dad and I both loved the drinks we got and will certainly be back the next time we are in town .

The pistachio macaroon was so good, I wish I got more. The iced caramel macchiato was too sweet for me, however the guy working the counter was very nice and helpful.

New place to grab a unique cup of coffee. This Yemeni coffee shop has a beautiful interior and delicious coffee. If you like spices in your coffee you will love this new location. You can at the counter and pick it up in a few minutes. The hazelnut raspberry tart was rich and delicious.

A wonderful atmosphere and good service. This was a cute coffee place to get work done at or chat with friends. My fiancee and I tried their strawberry and lavender matcha lattes. Unfortunately, neither of us could taste a hint of matcha. Both drinks were overpowered by the strawberry and lavender flavors. I came home and actually made my own matcha latte at home. I haven't tried their coffee, so I cannot speak to that. But I would not advise anyone to get their matcha.

I've heard of Matari before and was excitingly anticipating the opening of this location! So far I've loved their pink tea and matcha tea latte. Planning to try their pistachio latte next time. They have beautiful decor and I love how they tie in the black and gold to create an elegant aesthetic. I also learned that some of the lighted script is one of the first written languages that came to Yemen! Such a unique idea!

This Yemeni coffee shop is a great place for socializing or studying. It's well lit and has a lot of small tables that you can push together for bigger groups. I had the pour over, and the coffee notes are very good and the perfect medium-dark roast. The staff are very nice. My sister didn't like her drink, so they made her a new one.

Oh this is so perfect for our neighborhood! Finally a coffee place to hang out - Starbucks has gone to smaller, pick up-style outlets with uncomfortable seating and Matari is the exact opposite: you'll want to stay all day and try everything because each drink or dessert is ttly Insta-worthy! And if you dine in, the drinks come in real glassware- I'm so tired of the disposable cups so YEAH!!! My new spot and check out their IG

Nice coffee shop with gorgeous set up. Their pastries are delicious. I like their cappuccino and different kind of cheesecakes. Nice place to have a coffee and chat.

The coffee shop is big with lots of room to sit and do work, I got the pistachio latte and enjoyed it. Pictured is also the matari latte which is rose and pistachio.

Highlight pistachio latte! Very delicious. The shop itself is super cozy with a chill vibe, friendly staff. Great spot to hang out chatting or study

Finally, a Yemeni coffee shop in West Bloomfield! This cafe is beautiful and elegant. They have a good amount of seating. They have a great selection of drinks and pastries. My favorite drinks are the adeni chai and matari chai. Tried a few of their desserts, which all tasted fresh. It's a bit more pricey compared to other Yemeni coffee shops, but it's worth it for the good service and luxurious ambiance. I appreciate they stay open late.

For my first drink here I ended up getting a latte where the espresso was made from organic fresh roasted in house beans. The drink was very well made with the correct ratio of milk to espresso and was creamy, balanced, where the espresso clearly shined through and most importantly the drink was quite tasty. Relative to staff and facility, Joe the owner greeted me as I walked in the door and was very friendly and outgoing where he knew the names of several customers as they walked into the coffee shop. Joes friendly demeanor appears to be one of the strengths of this business, aside from his excellent coffee, as evidenced the return customers that came in during the short period I was in his shop. The facility is quite clean with a nice coffee shop vibe to it. It has a smaller footprint with a limited number of tables for indoor dining where they also sell fresh roasted coffee beans by the bag, some pastries, and prepared food among other things. Overall great coffee at a reasonable price and a friendly owner makes this a shop not to be missed if you in the Novi area. Especially if you are a coffee geek like me.

The business is tucked away in a strip mall sitting around the corner from the main road and is not readily obvious from the main road where you almost purposely have to be looking for it to see it. The business as mentioned in other reviews defiantately has the look and vibe of the rustic little touristy stores you see up north where I assume this is exactly what they are trying to achieve and makes this business a fun place to peruse. As the desire for a good cup of coffee is what brought me here, I ended up getting a cup of their medium roast Ethiopian coffee where the beans are roasted in house. my coffee was full bodied, nicely balanced with no harsh notes and quite tasty. An excellent cup of Joe at a very fair price of $3 for a large cup. Nice! One of the gals who worked there told me that if I liked that coffee than I would really like"Grunting Buck" medium roast where I purchased a 16 Oz whole bean bag for $16, Great price for any specialty coffee but one that was just fresh roasted is an amazing deal in my mind. For a small shop that has a lot of character there is a lot to look at and see here which is part of the interesting experience of shopping here. Staff is super friendly as they greet you as you walk in and offer assistance, if required, and then gives you space to shop at your own pace. Lastly there is a hot made to order food menu for breakfast and lunch to go along with their Barista operation. All in all, a superior small business that promotes made in Michigan that needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. Five stars in my book!

I came on an off day so the place was closed. It looked small but I decided to come back the next weekend and check it out but they put out a sign saying closed : Out Hunting. Determined I came back for a 3rd attempt and boy am I glad I did! Inside it is much larger than the outside would make you to believe. There is so much to look at and consider purchasing. The best part is it is all high-quality Michigan-made! Also, bonus is that for your first visit you are treated to a free cup of fresh brewed coffee; I loved mine. I got a delicious chocolate/caramel candy bar from the U.P., some craft beer for when my friends visit and some locally harvested honey for my biscuits and tea. Score! There is art work all over the walls. I was amazed at the size of the stuffed turkey - it was massive. If you are into hunting, well look no more. There are gifts galore for the hunter in your life. I saw knives, deer scent spray, apparel, jerky, you name it, they have it. You can't help but feel proud to be a Michigander after visiting this shop. Shop local, support Michigan and hurry on down to Deer Camp Coffee Roasting and Outfitters.
