I got the teriyaki plate with the California roll and all I can say is.... This place is affordable, family owned and run I believe ... either way the women I met was so sweet and kind. The place is simple and clean and the food was so good.

How have I lived here 5 years and not known this place existed?! It's a cute little hole in the wall Japanese Teriyaki place. I got the house plate which includes chicken, steak, and shrimp. It also comes with a small side of noodles potato salad. The meat lays on top of steamed rice. It's a pretty large portion for $13.50. They were very busy when I arrived on a Saturday at 4pm and my food came out in less than 5 minutes. They also do party platters and serve boba as well. They have sushi rolls as well which I'm definitely going to try next time. Can't wait to come back.

This is what you get for a 15 dollar " steak " cheap meat overcooked bowl from 5-7 days ago . How do you expect to support local business when they give you this . Unbelievable. " steak " as they calle it . It's dry . Salty and like I said before . Meat that has been frozen and overcooked . Just disgusting.

Stumbled upon this place and wow the chicken cutlet plate was sooo good. Loved all the rolls too-the shrimp plate and the udon soup. Will be coming back here for the breaded chicken plate many many times in the future I already know that. Lady behind the counter super nice !!

Provender: this is a nice mom and pop teriyaki joint in the valley. They offer various teriyaki dishes, chicken cutlet, and noodles. I ordered the chicken and beef combination plate, which comes on top of a bed of rice with noodles, cabbage, potato salad, and an orange slice. The chicken and beef were both excellent. They also give you teriyaki sauce and hot sauce on the side. Prices: the chicken and beef combination and an order of egg rolls or run about $15. Parking: there's a lot of parking since it is located in a large shopping plaza. People: fun for all. Perks: they only offer takeout during covid. This is a great teriyaki joint in the valley that I recommend. They also serve basic sushi rolls here too.

    Tempura

I was the only customer in the store ... first red flag.. and they still got my order wrong. See receipt, I only got the tempura. They also give you very little for the chicken plate portion, but it tastes ok. You can get better portion and food taste better at flame broiler or waba grill at a lesser cost. It came with noodles, which I couldn't eat because it smelled strange, so I simply dumped it. The side of potato's also didn't taste fresh- went to trash. Tempura was the only good thing. Would recommend to skip this place!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! The price is also deceiving on yelp has old prices... its hiked up, you can see from my receipt . For $13.99 I would expect better quality meal.

This is a great small place to just get some casual Japanese food. I got the cutlet plate and it comes with a good amount of cutlet, rice, yakisoba, scoop of mash potatoes, and a salad. Everything tasted good and fresh as I even heard them fry the cutlet as I waited. The only problem with the food was that the cutleg was very thin and thus did not taste as good or was as juicy as other cutlets I've had from other places. The prices are comparable to other Japanese places as of right now but its a shame as this place used to be the most affordable japnese place out of all of them near me. Overall pretty good tasting meal for the price and I'd definitely go again.

This place really makes me feel like I'm back in Japan every time I come here. We've been a few times now, and somehow it just keeps getting better and better every visit. I honestly don't know how they do it, but everything about this place is amazing. The service is amazing to you always feel looked after the whole time you're there. The place itself is super cute and has such a nice vibe. It's the perfect little spot for a date night or even just to chill, have a drink, and enjoy some seriously good ramen. Easily one of my favorite spots and 100% worth it every time.

Despite even that, I was helped immediately and was heading out with my order for 2 bowls in about 15 minutes. I was also offered a glass of ice water while I waited, which was very kind. Every aspect from the dark walls and wooden bar, down to the music and bathroom is well thought out. You can tell they truly value their space and the customers that support the restaurant. Don't get me started on the food ~ We tried the Bincho Egg Black Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth was silky and creamy, not oily or heavy at all. The black garlic added a very interesting earthy and almost scorched taste to it. The egg was sweet, and I've never had a sweet ramen egg before but it went well with the rest of the umami flavors in the dish. The green onions and wood ear mushrooms had a fresh crunch to them and there was enough to get a good amount in every bite. The charsiu was tender + savory sweet, kinda tasted like cheese to me but that's also a positive lol! The noodles were slightly chewy and the portion was just right for the amount of broth you get. I have nothing bad to say about this ramen, it's truly one of those spots where your heart desires seconds or even thirds lowkey. I'll be back again to try a different option on the menu. That spicy karaage looked pretty fire so I may need to come back to try that too... Thank you Bincho! Y'all killed the ramen game.

Moon Sushi has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and it was great to see the owner present and serving customers alongside the servers and chefs. We ordered a variety of dishes, and while some of the fish selections may sound ordinary, the flavors were anything but. Every bite left us impressed. Their specialty rolls were unique, and nothing we tried had an overpowering flavor. Each dish had its own special touch and was balanced beautifully. We tried salmon, yellowtail, tuna, albacore, toro, and even wagyu beef sushi-style, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. From the outside, you might wonder how a place this simple could be so good, but from the first bite to the last, you'll be pleasantly surprised throughout the entire meal. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back. It is a bit pricey, but honestly, what isn't in 2026? In Moon Sushi's case, you're paying for quality, freshness, and a memorable dining experience.

They called to let us know and we don't live far so we went to pick it up. Turns out they never even made it so we had to wait another 15 minutes for them to make it while the rest of the order was being delivered to our house. The next time we decided to pick up since the delivery was so bad the first time. Not only did it take 50 minutes to get a small order, they lied about the order. Said we were just waiting for 1 more item but they actually did not start our order at all. When it was finally ready, I checked the entire order since we had been burned by them before. I told the guy who gave me the food that we didn't get all of our food the last time and he said, "I don't know about that." Yeah, like I lied about it? He said he thought I did. Instead of being accommodating and apologetic about the lateness of our order, the restaurant was rude and dismissive. Too bad. I want to support a small local business but neither my family nor I will go back for their only average to bland food and slow, inaccurate, rude service. 2 strikes is enough.

This may be one of the best meals I've had in all of the valley. I tried the Tapsilog bowl which had a perfectly cooked egg, savory Garlic rice and a great helping of marinated Angus beef. I'd love to know what they use for the Beef Marinade because it was out of this world. A flavor explosion the likes of which I have never tasted. One bite and I started devouring the bowl and had to force myself to slow down and chew. I also tried their Pork bun which was delicious. A perfectly made bun with delicious cooked Pork belly and an excellent pairing of sauces and toppings. I've had pork buns from other places and the bun has always ended up being too sweet and ruined the flavors for me, this was NOT the case. This Pork bun was in a word, Delectable. We decided on Oi Asian which had great reviews, so why not. First off, let me say that there is plenty of parking, however, the parks are extremely narrow for some reason. It was a struggle to get in and out of the car due to the width of the parks smh. Anyway, once we got inside, there wasn't anyway at the register and after standing there for a while, I noticed the kiosk so unplaced my order there. There were only two cooks in the back. We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5
