I really tried to give this place another chance, but unfortunately it was disappointing again. I called in my order ahead of time and still ended up waiting over 40 minutes after arriving. The food itself is good, but the portions are surprisingly small for the price -- especially compared to other Thai restaurants in the city that offer much better value and service. This was my second visit, and sadly, it'll be my last. The food is good but overall experience

The food here is best in the valley for Thai food. The lady here is sweet and polite and will suggest food if you ask her. The vibe is always peaceful and feels like home. Highly recommended this hidden gem!

    Don't see any crab meat

I have been ordering Pink Elephant since 2018. Shrinkflation during COVID was understandable, but the scrimping on seafoof dishes is just ridiculous. In 2018 for 10.50 you could order a crab fried rice that had a bed of cooked crab covering the entire area of rice. The 2025 crab fried rice for 16.00 is a joke. We had to pick apart the egg to even find the precense of crab to take a picture of. The chicken pad Thai looks exactly the same as it did in 2018. Everything still tastes great. But if you expect to receive any seafood you ordered, don't keep your hopes up.

I recently discovered this place isn't far away from my home and given the solid reviews, I decided to try it. This is one of the best tasting curry spots for the money that I've found in LA. For $11, you get a generous portion of curry and a side of rice. Many places these days charge extra for rice. Also, I just learned they will deliver nearby for free with minimum purchase of $20. I always get the green curry with soft tofu. It includes basil, bamboo and eggplant in a delicious curry. I ask for spicy, which isn't all that spicy, in my opinion. But the "extra spicy" is pretty hot and includes some Thai peppers that blow your head off when you bite into them. I wish there was a happy middle point between the two. But alas, still amazing flavor. My husband gets the yellow curry medium spicy with fried tofu. His has potatoes and carrots in a very rich, savory curry. Both of us slurp up the last drops to make sure we get it all, it's so good!

Spicy Fried Rice With Shrimp $11

I love everything about Pink Elephant! The people who run it, so friendly and kind The beautiful & happy plants inside and outside of the restaurant The delicious food The great prices! PARKING: -Plenty of metered parking out front FOOD: You can make any of their dishes whatever spice level you want. The Spicy is very spicy, nose runny, after 4 dishes i had to switch to white rice for minute lol but so good!!! Hot is an overall spicy without causing you to tap out like the Spicy Spicy. I love how you can mix n match. Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, Fish Fried Rices, Thai Noodle Dishes, Curries -Chicken Satay ($7.50) so good. Flavorful chicken with a great peanut sauce and cucumber side. -Panang Chicken Curry with White Rice ($9.50) great coconut mill flavor, with a little heat. I love their curries (top 2 go tos) -Beef Drunken Noodle-Hot ($10) spicy and one of my go tos! So much flavor! -Shrimp Friend Rice- Spicy ($11). Very spicy! And delicious! Wish there was a bit more shrimp but it was still yum. -Orange Chicken With white rice ($9.50) I will say this was not the best. A little hard and overcooked and not the best flavor. Probably won't order this again, but this was the first dish ever from PE that I would say wasn't that great, so not a deal breaker at all. SERVICE: Great service! So friendly everytime! Always happy to see you and really feels like a great place to get some great food. Never rude or short on the phone. PE is a staple of the valley for good thai. Happy customer time after time.

This place really makes me feel like I'm back in Japan every time I come here. We've been a few times now, and somehow it just keeps getting better and better every visit. The place itself is super cute and has such a nice vibe. It's the perfect little spot for a date night or even just to chill, have a drink, and enjoy some seriously good ramen. Easily one of my favorite spots and 100% worth it every time.

Despite even that, I was helped immediately and was heading out with my order for 2 bowls in about 15 minutes. I was also offered a glass of ice water while I waited, which was very kind. Every aspect from the dark walls and wooden bar, down to the music and bathroom is well thought out. You can tell they truly value their space and the customers that support the restaurant. Don't get me started on the food ~ We tried the Bincho Egg Black Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth was silky and creamy, not oily or heavy at all. The black garlic added a very interesting earthy and almost scorched taste to it. The egg was sweet, and I've never had a sweet ramen egg before but it went well with the rest of the umami flavors in the dish. The green onions and wood ear mushrooms had a fresh crunch to them and there was enough to get a good amount in every bite. The charsiu was tender + savory sweet, kinda tasted like cheese to me but that's also a positive lol! The noodles were slightly chewy and the portion was just right for the amount of broth you get. I have nothing bad to say about this ramen, it's truly one of those spots where your heart desires seconds or even thirds lowkey. I'll be back again to try a different option on the menu. That spicy karaage looked pretty fire so I may need to come back to try that too... Thank you Bincho! Y'all killed the ramen game.
