Came here last night as last minute dinner plans, the restaurant wasn't as crowded as most places but there were plenty of people. they had sports playing on the t.v but not too loudly which I appreciate. Our waitress was very kind as well. The food came out super fast. We ordered one combo, one appetizer, A spicy salmon hand roll, a Lemon specialty roll and a baked eel avocado cut roll. The rolls were all sUPER delicious and tasted fresh all around. My favorite was absolutely the lemon yellowtail roll the freshness was evident in this roll in particular. I love a good sushi spot and this place is it
I just picked up from Catch me Sushi, great service and cordial staff. The ambiance was light due to the time 4:00 was not busy at the time. I order a crunch roll, California roll and Miso soup. The miso was tasty with pieces of tofu. Crunch roll was savory. I will definitely will try other dishes
Looks can be deceiving as there is not much looking from the outside, but on the inside is a different story. Even on a Sunday afternoon, there is plenty of parking to choose from. The service was nice and accommodating. They were able to check in at reasonable times without being over bearing. The only caveat would be pricing. Based on other establishments for sushi, you can get better quality sushi for the same price. They have way more in their online menu verses their in-person menu. You may be able to find a sushi that appeals to you. Though they provide some great deals (e.g. 15% off check for check-in and discounts when you order online), this would be good if you are craving sushi and it's the only place in your area. If not, there are other places to try.
Raining night, my husband and I discovered this place accidentally. We are looking for a Chilean place which would close soon. So, we decided to eat sushi. Cool ambiance, casual and friendly. The service is nice and fast. About the food, delicious, tasty and beautiful plate! The price is reasonable! Two sushi plates and a miso, $41. Nowadays it's a good price.
I'm not going to lie, but this place is pretty darn great! They have a good selection of sushi, but could definitely add more things on the menu and maybe drink wise as well. I have no complaints about the sushi as it was wonderful and I got maybe seven different things off of the menu. They had a 15% off discount that they offered., which was cool. The inside is nothing special, but it was clean and that's all that mattered. Their bathroom was as well. The only thing that was a little odd was their happy hour menu, which had a bunch of stuff blocked off because they were either out or not serving it at all. My table came during that time to be able to take advantage of the deal but we were unable to do so because, like I said, a lot of the things weren't available. On top of that, I feel like their discounts for happy hour were not really worth it to begin with. I suppose it's good that it's offered, but it doesn't mean much.
Catch me sushi is a lovely small spot between Sherman and Canoga. I came in on a weekday evening, and was immediately seated at the bar. Service: The service is incredibly friendly and welcoming. 10/10! Food: I had the chef's choice sushi, which came with a huge variety of fish - they didn't just give you a standard cut of salmon and tuna in there and call it a day (in fact, they even included a piece of truffle uni which blew me away!!) The rice is on the more vinegary side however. The fish is fresh, and each piece comes with a perfect amount of garnish/seasoning. Would HIGHLY recommend. I'd say to give Catch Me Sushi a try if you've been meaning too - it's a solid spot.

This place was very peaceful and clean. I enjoyed their music choice which included some classic songs; this is refreshing because other places play some terrible mainstream music! The service was great and they were very attentive which I appreciate. I got the Crispy Rice w Spicy Tuna, Spicy Tuna Cut Roll, and a Spicy Salmon Hand Roll. Their spicy tuna seems like it's mixed with mayo and sriracha and is soft, I like how savory it is but do wish it was a little bit less mushy. Their crispy rice cakes had the perfect amount of crunch and softness. Their ingredients taste fresh and the sushi is refreshing. I think I ordered some pretty plain rolls so I'd be open to trying less basic ones from the menu! I give it 4 stars because the food didn't fully stand out to me but was still enjoyable. Overall I was satisfied with my time here and would consider coming back!

My friend kept telling me about this Sushi restaurant. I'm glad I was finally able to try it. I came here on a weekday during happy hour which is from 2-5 Monday-Sunday. I don't recall the hostess'/waitress' name but she is extremely friendly and provided excellent service. We ordered the following items: Beef gyoza Fried squid legs Salmon blue crab w/truffle oil Crispy rice trio 50/50 handroll (spicy tuna and crab) Scallop masago roll Japanese scallop skewer Beef gyoza and squid legs were excellent - among the best I've tried and the beef gyoza is on their happy hour menu. Salmon blue crab w/truffle oil was also delicious. Comes with 6 pieces of crab wrapped with fresh salmon and dressed with the perfect amount of truffle oil. It was so flavorful, we ended up ordering a second one. My favorite of the crispy rice trio, which is on their happy hour menu, was the one with salmon on top. The rice cake was perfectly crispy on the outside and the rice soft and warm on the inside. The other two were also good, but salmon was the best. The 50/50 roll, also on their happy hour menu, is a handroll mixed with rice, spicy tuna and crab wrapped in seaweed. I should have requested less rice, Nevertheless, their tuna is fresh and tasted good. Scallop masago cut roll consisted of bay scallops with creamy mayo smelt roe and green onions. I liked the fact that the roll was packed with more scallop that rice. The scallops were protruding out because of how many they stuffed in each piece - absolutely delicious!! Japanese scallop is just one skewer with four pieces of scallops on it. Although I didn't try it, my niece said it was flavorful. I am so glad I tried this place. They have a huge selection of specialty rolls that I definitely want to come back and try. You also can't go wrong with their happy hour. They have a good selection of items and everything we tried was delicious. And service was A+++++ The menu was too many pages so I couldn't post the entire menu but it's available on their site.

This review is for takeout, and it's a bit long because I've ordered from here many times. The packaging is always in great condition. My most recent order was a spicy sushi roll, it was delicious, and my order is always on time. The place is clean, and the staff is very attentive. read more
Solid 4. good happy hour options, good food presentation, great service. The food was pretty tasty too with well cooked rice and sauces. Decent, mid-tier sushi in the valley. Fish seems fresh and they have a few signature dishes that hit. A good choice for non-high-end sushi. read more
Personally I thought It was decent. Nothing to special. Came here during lunch hour and sat at the sushi counter. As always during lunch at the sushi restaurant I like to order the chirashi and few nigiri if I see something that I like. First of the chirashi bowl. The bowl itself looks great. The fish were fresh but the shari was bad. It wasn't season and it was mushy. What a killer. And for the nigiri I ordered the Hokkaido Hotate. Hotate was good shari bad. I'm not expecting great shari or anything at this place but at least season it or something. And for the win. I do have mix feelings about them adding 18% gratuity to the bill automatically for two person when our server didn't do much but take our order and brought us water and the check. If you're looking for a quick, sushi place for lunch or dinner and you happen to work or live very close by, this would be your place. Unfortunately, I wouldn't seek out this sushi place nor travel very far to go. The food: it wasn't awful, but it's wasn't great; nothing special. I would not come here for their sushi choices. The fully cooked roll options seem okay. This is what we ordered: Albacore Lover - This was good, but the albacore wasn't the best Salmon Fusion - I'm not a fan of sushi salmon, so I didn't eat it, but my husband said it was just okay. Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice - This tasted like they crisp up the rice prior and freeze it Tempura Appetizer - surprisingly good Chicken Teriyaki Bowl - same, surprisingly good. The chicken was good. Edamame Avocado Roll Service was normal. The place is pretty small; not a lot of tables. They have high chairs. It's located in a small strip mall, so parking is very limited. If you're picking up a to-go order, you can easily pull up to the front, put your hazards on and pick it up. read more

Here we go again I respectfully called the restauant and asked notified them that I could not have Mayonnaise on my food nor send it to me. He agreed....I received my food garnished with the typical "edible orchids" gross like anyone eats them.. no we just pay for them. Not to my suprise was the famous "pre made" sesame dressing w/mayo. I immediatly called the restaurant and asked them is there was mayo in the dressing and they said they make it and no. Then I asked for the chef as i know this dressing VERY WELL . And he could not answer me straight. So itold him that if i eat thiS i WILL GOTO THE HOSPITAL chef walked into the storag to read the ingredients on the "pre bought" dressing that indeed contains mayo. I cannot stand the lies and the lack of knowledge these "chefs" have. What a shame! read more

Always a favorite spot. Service is always superb. Mo is amazing. The staff is wonderful! I tried the baked muscles this visit and OMG my new favorite. I like how they put mozzarella cheese. The flavor is sooo good. This place continues to not disappoint. read more

Sushi has been a hit or miss in the Valley & I came here for the reviews. 10/10 this place is a hidden gem on QUALITY! Came here on a Friday evening for 2 & it was empty, so I was a little surprised. Jokes on me though, we came at a perfect time when the entire restaurant got busy within 30 min of being there. The first thing I noticed were the quality of chopsticks (LOL) & ambiance. A little bit of fancy with a side of casual, lol. Expect the prices of the rolls to be almost $20 each (but worth it). Our menu & everything was a 5/5 stars: - Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna (1 order = 4 pieces) - Baked Mussel (1 order = 5 pcs) - Volcano Roll - The Fantacy Roll - Salmon Sushi Overall customer service & quality of food in a small restaurant was great & a definite place to come back to! read more

The food is good but nothing special. Very pricey. I'd say service is fast though we got our order in like 5 minutes after placing it! Very small restaurant as well so probably good for date, wouldn't recommend for large groups of people. read more

I'm torn between a 3 and a 4 star rating. The variety is awesome but my presentation to go and the freshness is not what I expected by the price. The Omakase sushi combination had a great variety but the brightness and freshness I expected was not. Now the Lemontail roll is a 5 star for me! I loved the citrus and it was pretty fresh but I think I would use something other than spicy tuna for the inside. Staff was friendly and courteous. There is plenty of parking. We followed Yelp reviews and yes, this restaurant lives up to its reputation. Food- fresh generous pieces of fish on perfectly made rice. We tried the Lemontail Roll and it was refreshing and a must try. We also had the cms roll - wow, I've yet to try something like it. It was delicious and had the lemony flavor my family likes We also tried the rice cakes with spicy tuna - ok, not great or terrible. Maybe the extra eel sauce was a bit much. The toro was fresh - but it was missing something (like fresh wasabi). Service - Emily helped us and she was fantastic. She was friendly, prompt, had great recommendations and made our experience Great. Ambiance - very clean and the staff place had plenty of room ;) read more
Solid sushi spot for when you want a quick fix! Good for a chill sushi night with friends. Ordered - judo roll - lemontail roll - my favorite! - Shishido peppers - banana dessert Overall we enjoyed our experience, the sushi quality was good. The Judo roll is good for people watching their carbs but ngl... it tasted like a turkey wrap from Costco lolol, our group all agreed Everything we got was good and the service was good! Took off a star because they were out of ice cream and just a tad pricey given the ambience is more quick dining. read more

Hookah and dine out sushi very far from one another very impossible for you to smell the hookah while eating :) but if you did want hookah after it is a walking distance from sushi spot!
