Which he was and is! We hired them to add insulation all around our home, remove old and install new siding, windows, gutters, fascia, doors. Hmmmm....what else can I have these guys do!!! They were great!!! Their team came to our house and were extremely professional and courteous! We added changes (more work) to the scope of work many times and they rolled with it. We did have an issue with the window manufacturer who could not make our front window correctly. JL came out multiple times to address the issue. Even after the manufacturer came out and measured they still did not get it correct! This was the window manufacturer NOT JL. JL stood behind their work and stayed with us until it was all done. JL had the window manufacturer remake the window in a new frame. That worked! If you are looking for a home improvement company filled with honest people , call JL Roofing and Siding! I appreciate Mauricio, Byron and their team so much!! They took a stressful situation and made it easy on me. By the way--their prices were phenomenal! Do yourself a HUGE favor and call JL Roofing and Siding. ABSOLUTELY FIVE STAR COMPANY!!!!!!! PS: JL Roofing and Siding does not do decks. We asked multiple times, but they don't do them. But that's okay! When we need a new roof I know who I am calling!!

I know this company will give you a lower estimate and they are actually popular because of these…read morelower rates. But, they are not responsive to follow up concerns and, as others have pointed out, their customer service and aftercare is non existent. You may be getting a lower estimate but you are going to pay on the back end for the mistakes they make. And they will not respond to you because they've got their money and they're on to the next job because they an undercutting, high-volume business looking to profit from turnover. Once you're in the rearview mirror, they are going to ignore and deny responsiblity. Four weeks after they did our roof, we started to see evidence of a small leak. We reached out to them and they dismissed it as something they caused but told us to monitor it. Started to see a bigger leak a few weeks later and asked them to come out to check on it. They said they would but it took over 3 months of a back and forth with the OWNER to finally get them to come out. They only came out once after the recent Noreaster and there was water dripping from the ceiling. When they came out, they said the leak was coming from the exhaust cap that they had unsealed and resealed during their roof work. They denied that it was their work that caused that seal to leak -- even though we did not have any of that happening before they did the roof. If they had just come out when we first told them about the leak, they could have made the fix and the damage would not have occurred. But their inability to properly address issues, makes this company unreliable. They made the problem worse by not coming out and they denying responsibility for the harm they caused. They could totally make it right by covering the repair but they haven't even offered to partially cover the costs.

Don't use All States Roofing Contractors. You will regret it!!!…read more They recommended installing a new scupper drain box to fix a roof leak. The owner then left the country and sent his father to do the work. Afterward, I received a call from a third party claiming to be the contractor, threatening to remove the scupper unless payment was made immediately -- completely unacceptable and alarming. The repair failed. I still have active water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage to my home. This company showed a serious lack of professionalism, oversight, and accountability. The workmanship did not resolve the problem, and the billing tactics were concerning. Homeowners - proceed with extreme caution! Verify who is performing the work, how payments are handled, and whether the company is operating to proper standards. ----------------------------- Your response contains multiple inaccuracies ... First, your claim that you "tried calling me multiple times" is false. You never called me. I have no missed calls, voicemails, or call logs from you after the work. What I do have is a saved voicemail left on 4/11/25, immediately after the work was performed. Second, your statement about nonpayment is also false. I paid a deposit on 4/04/25 and made final payment on 4/18/25. Both payments were made by credit card, and I have full documentation proving this. At no point was payment withheld "for over a month," and suggesting otherwise is simply untrue. Third, the call threatening to remove the scupper came from a third party claiming to be associated with you, and it occurred after the work was completed and while payment had already been made. Regardless of how you now characterize it, that call was inappropriate and alarming, and it happened under your company's name. Finally, the scupper installation you recommended did not resolve the leak. I continue to have water intrusion, and it has caused interior damage. Shifting blame to "the rest of the roof" does not change the fact that the specific repair you proposed and performed failed to correct the issue it was meant to fix. I am stating verifiable facts, supported by payment records and saved voicemail evidence. Any implication that I am misrepresenting events is incorrect. If you wish to discuss this further, it should begin with an acknowledgment of these facts.
