These were so good! We got all kinds of donuts from glazed to jelly filled and all were very warmly welcomed. They ate them up. They were not too heavy either. And they lasted in the fridge for days which surprised me. Bought them for a hard workout crew who was working on my house. I'll be back to this gem of a place. Found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. It is right next to an IHOP, we contemplated going there but we were in the mood for donuts. We made the right choice! Master's Donuts was busy, but the wait was short. We were greeted with a smile and all the donuts looked delicious. We sat at the little table outside to eat our donuts which was nice. The donuts were fresh and delicious. They were perfect! I haven't had a donut that good in a long time. I wish this place was near my house, or could teach the places around me some pointers. I went here for the first time 1-2 months ago, and although I haven't been back yet, I have to say this was one of the best experiences I've had at a donut shop. First of all, the donuts are above average in size and very reasonably priced. That's always a plus. Secondly, the donuts are generously iced and generously filled. I got a maple iced ring and a chocolate iced custard. The maple donut was great, but I was especially impressed with the chocolate iced custard donut, as it was the heaviest, most densely filled custard donut I've ever had. I would also like to add that these donuts are very sweet -- they add some glaze to the outside of the raised donuts (at least on the two I purchased, anyway). I personally love sweetness in my donuts, so I appreciated the added touch. On top of the great donuts for a great price, the customer service was excellent. Friendly cashier and fast service. What more can you ask for? I unfortunately recently moved out of the area, so it may be awhile until I am able to come back. Great and fast service! Whenever i go in the staff os always really friendly. I always get boba and it's just as good if not better than the more expensive options for boba. Home of thee best blueberry donut in the 805 very good and fluffy and wide variety of choices. Also burritos on point, good luck though if you want the carnitas option which is usually out and I'm not sure it's still being served although still on the menu. read more

Friendly service, lots of variety, and everything looked great! Tried 3 different types: glazed raised donut, old fashioned and a French cruller (one of the few places in the area that has them!). They were all delicious. The glazed was sweet but not too sweet and nice and fluffy, the old fashioned was dense with a nice crackly top, and the chocolate glazed French cruller was top notch. Just be aware, it doesn't seem like they make a lot of the chocolate glazed French crullers (they had a lot of other flavors though), so go early if you want one of those. HEY, get your SUGAR RUSH HERE!!! One of Oxnard's BETTER choices to satisfy the donut cravings. I'm not the only one that thinks this, too. On the weekends, there can be a line OUT THE DOOR, to chow down on the morsels they serve here! That is unusual for Oxnard to have that kind of passion FOR DONUTS. Case in point: Krispy Kreme laid brick down, then disappeared after a short stay. Master's has been serving my town FO-EEE-VAH. Even when I was a wee lad, it was here AT the same strip mall when it was a supported by a movie theater. Back to the future, it's located in the Lowe's strip mall, next to the 7-Eleven store. I come here specifically for the French Crullers. Sadly, It's THE ONLY shop whipping out my fave donut in the area. Lucky for me, they've improved the quality of its cruller in the past few years. It was once this deflated thang that was just all spongy, but now it has some crispness to the outer shell that holds its true form better. I WIN!!! Other family faves are the donut holes(3 choices here!), coconut glazed, tiger tail, devils food with nuts, chocolate chip with chocolate filling, and glazed raised. This is the donut spot we like to frequent. They have so many donut even after 5pm that are still really fresh. I've tried a few places around town and this one seems to keep us coming back. I'm pretty simple though, I just go for the plain donuts (twist or round), cake with sprinkles or crumb. Master Donuts has some nice looking muffins -- no, that's not some stupid euphemism -- and a good variety of donuts and other goods in general. The service is good and cheery, and the place itself is clean, organized, spacious, and well-lit. They have a few small tables on the outside, and I think a couple on the inside, too. While I was there, people kept asking for coffee as if theirs is pretty good. I was a little more concerned about how, doofus that I am, I accidentally locked myself out of my car. You learn some things when you're waiting for someone to let you in your car. I learned that Master Donuts is in an area that while not horribly green, has nice, big, green trees where it has them. I also learned that the parking lot's pretty big, because they share a lot with some bigger businesses on both sides. I didn't try the muffins or pastries. I had the chocolate chip roll, which was about average quality for these parts -- maybe a slight drop-off. They have fountain drinks, so I ordered an extra large to match the size that I'll be when I finish trying all these donut places. It was actually pretty watery, but the place looks promising in general, so I might find something I like more if I come back, with an extra set of keys. read more

Master's Donuts is one of those staples that I had to hit when I was in town last week. I stopped by one evening before heading home and grabbed a boba and a couple of donuts.
