I called on Saturday and they were able to come on Tuesday which I appreciated, because the new A/C…read moreis being installed on Thursday. Malik cleaned our ducts and vents and sanitized them. Sanitizing the individual duct/vents was added ($25 extra for each vent) to the originally quoted package which he said only includes sanitizing the main duct, but I wanted that done after seeing the mold build-up on the vent registers. He also helped taking out the moldy vent registers because it's probably better just to replace than trying to clean them. Overall, glad we did the cleaning, though I wish it was clearly stated the vent sanitizing was NOT included in the quote, because the quote just said "...air duct cleaning includes up to 15 supply vents and returns, two main duct per single unit, sanitizer (to prevent mold growth)..." A little update: Later through the check-in with the owner, the owner Nick answered all my questions, told me how to maintain, and that we won't need to do a cleaning again until a few years later. Also after hearing my concern about the mold on the registers, he said the registers needed to be thrown out and replaced, but the ducts behind the vents themselves didn't have mold so didn't have to be sanitized, even though it was my request to sanitize them. I was told main duct/trunk sanitization is what they usually do and individual duct/vent sanitization is not a recommended practice actually. He offered to refund the extra charge for the vent sanitization that I didn't need. I appreciate that honesty and accountability.

Cancelled on me the first day and came three hours late the next day…read more To clean my dryer vent the guy on the phone said it would be a 100-200 bucks. Turns out they charge $30 a foot and my bill was about $750. They were at least supposed to quote me before doing the work but they didn't. I spoke up and they apologized for not showing me the quote first and charged me 400. I paid. And now that I'm playing it out in my mind, I feel like this might have been all by design. I think I was just played big time.

Good advice - help prevent home fires by regularly cleaning your clothes dryer ducts - accumulation…read moreof lint is a leading cause of dryer fires. After searching online for different duct cleaning services, I chose Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning, largely based upon very positive online reviews. Thank you Yelp & Yelp reviewers ! Lowe's was a great choice & the positive reviews were correct. After working out a price over the phone, Lowe's scheduled an appointment for the next day. Mykhaylo arrived on time, removed his shoes, performed the procedure quietly & efficiently, was very friendly and polite. After the job was completed he vacuumed up everything, he even cleaned the dryer's lint filter. Thank you Mykhalo for doing a great job & taking the stress away - now I know the dryer is good to go. Overall outstanding experience.

Not good. Hours late. Lied about what they do. Lied about sub-contracting! I noticed they say they…read moredon't contract out but the guy that does the actual work says he is a separate contractor...That's never good no quality control. They said they'll send before and after photos- not 1 photo even though I reminded them twice. Didn't vacuum out most of the ductwork. Then the worker complained the whole time. We were very polite. Not an organised well run company didn't do a good job. Now I have to hire a new company to do what I payed Lowes to do. I wouldn't recommend them. I wonder if the positive reviews are legit or just family and friends. Anyway, did a bad job and didn't finish their work.. I have a small house, they're not cheap. I'd never recommend.

I'VE BEEN A LONG-STANDING CUSTOMER WITH REGION OIL IN NEW JERSEY. They removed my underground tank…read more/installed a new above ground tank / removed old furnace and replaced new system. Additionally, they are the only company that has serviced and maintained the system since installation. Recently, I've written two respectful, professional, emails directly to the service manager with attached pictures, asking for an explanation, and further assistance to no avail. I clearly stated I need to communicate through email and have yet to receive a response as the system remains partly disassembled. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO REGION OILS CUSTOMER SERVICE? Very unfortunate...... do your due diligence before contractual commitments with Region oil.

The worst company! I have been a Region propane customer for over 20 years. Shame on me for not…read morelooking at my bills and the rates they charge for propane. After a recent delivery, I promptly paid my invoice (as always), then a few weeks later I received another invoice that included a $99.95 fee. The description was very unclear, so I decided to call them for an explanation. I was told that this is a new charge being levied on "low volume" customers. Low volume is apparently customers that use under 75 gallons of propane annually. While on the phone with customer service, I checked the average rate for propane in my area (Sussex Cty NJ). I learned that the avg rate is about $3.25 p/g. I noticed that I my bill from Region was over $6.50 p/g, and it's been this way for some time. I asked the rep about this and she explained that Region charges a higher rate for low volume customers. So, apparently, they now charge customers like me an extra 100 bucks, plus a propane rate that is double the average. I decided, based on the lack of billing transparency from Region, to switch to a new provider (the new provider is fully transparent, they charge $2.88 p/g, a modest annual tank rental fee, and a small delivery fee). This is a lower annual cost than Region with all things factored in, but most important is that it is fully transparent. I called Region to tell them I am canceling and that they can get their tank and credit me for the fuel in it that I already paid for (it's nearly full). They said they would schedule the tank pickup and that there is a $150 tank pickup fee, plus I still owe them for the new $99.95 low usage fee (charged in Aug). As a result, rather than receiving a credit for the fuel I already bought and will be returning, they will be charging me for the balance (my credit would be far less than the $249.95 they are planning to bill me for). Having canceled because of the new fee and because they've been grossly over charging for the propane, I said I would not agree to pay these new charges. I also said that after 20 years of loyalty I thought they should be willing to get their tank tank on their dime. They said, in short, there is no room for an accommodation on these fees/charges. If you are considering Region, I suggest looking to almost anyone else (there are much more transparent and lower cost providers in northern NJ). If you are a current customer, take a look at your bill and make sure you aren't over paying. FYI...I had a similar experience with them on fuel oil and canceled this service years ago...I should have learned my lesson back then!
