I've had several sessions with Master Zhou. He's the real deal! Phenomenal! I wish I lived closer, I'd be going every week!

I got treated by master zhou back in 2019. I saw a great improvement with one session but he had told me that I would be needing more than 3 sessions because my illness was chronic. I read a review below that he had passed away , not sure if that's true. I had gone back in 2021 as I believe Early 2022 and they had told me he retired. If he did pass away, he's in heaven resting in peace and I want to say thank you for the healing session you provided. You were the first to have me in personally witness your extraordinary spiritual powers to heal illnesses. Thank you! I'm unsure if they still offer qigong classes since they don't respond to my messages online. It's hard to get ahold of them. The class I took with Master Zhou and his assistant who substituted for him was like a traditional class where you follow along. The movements tend to be slow. They gave us a handout to help us remember the moves. If you finish your class you are welcome to stay and watch the next class. I've been reaching out to him for over a year to be treated again, only to find that he passed away last March (2023). Many blessings to him and all those he has helped heal. This man saved my life from 2 near death accidents. He's a living legend of our time. Leader Mao would not have imprisoned a con artist for 30 years, other reviewers are just clueless people unfortunately... It's also endearing to also see that even if your life is taken away from you for 30yr and still you go back to China to contribute, to teach and to empower. That's the ultimate humility right there, not allowing Politics and/or these epic losses to change your mission to empower the world. It's humbling to know someone like this still exists... I don't think I can do that however. To be so... accepting and forgiving. Moreover, I've learned over time that he emphasized on using Chi of the universe to heal yourself and he's only a medium, his healing is just channeling what's already energy in our space and directed at your thru his intentions and turn that into calculated measurement targeting the healing outcome. I am grateful, extremely; and I did not know at the time that he helped a man to walk again, that part is pretty epic. Anyways, he does NOT need monies, he's already retired. He's only taking some patients to be helpful since he's been doing it for so long, and retirement as he said seems a pretty boring idea. Anyways, I came across his yelp page by chance. I did not know he had one. I also did see on google the fact smearing white guy making negative accusations against him for some time now, it's all over the internet. I later found out that it was because that he as an interviewer was being very rude and insulting to Master Zhou for this craft, and so Master Zhou declined the invite to speak. Since then, the guy was blogging everywhere calling him a fake. Honestly, he's so booked up all the time, it's not easy to get an appt as it is. He knows about the guy who went out there to destroy his reputations but he doesn't really care anyways. There's no need to debate he told to me, that truth shall prevail... I decided to speak up today only because it happened by chance I stumbled upon here and then saw a really negative review by someone else... shook my head and opened my mouth. I don't know what I would do without Master Zhou. He is a blessing to have around. I drive commercial vehicles for many years and have painful back problems. Master Zhou does miracles for many thousands of people. I have been seeing Master Zhou for a few years now, and I fly thousands of miles just see my Master Zhou. This is the real deal healing for sure I was diagnosed with neuralgia and spinal stenosis. I had scheduled an appointment with Master Zhou for treatment. In the meantime before my appointment came I also got an abscess tooth. I had gone to the dentist who recommended I see an endodontist. I actually saw four different dentists. Because I wanted to use my health insurance the endodontist that I've visited last told me I had to wait three weeks before we could get approval. And that approval was unlikely because the treatment that we wanted to have covered was too risky And would probably not be approved bye my insurance company. I was in agony with my tooth had a blister on my gum from the abscess when I got to Master Zhou. After the healing I experienced for the first time in 3 1/2 months I had complete relief from my neuralgia in my left arm. And the bonus what is that I no longer had an abscess on my tooth and no tooth pain whatsoever. read more

The Qigong I class is only a half hour long and Master Zhou doesn't even teach the class. An assistant does. It is $350 and takes an hour and fifteen minutes to get there from LA. When I asked for a refund when I figured out Master Zhou would not be teaching the class as advertised they refused to refund me until we went back and forth ALL day. I never would have agreed to spend that much money and drive that far for anyone but Master Zhou to teach the class. I'm glad they refunded me. read more

Master Zhou doesn't speak much English & his female associate is NOT very warm & her social etiquette is not that good. She has a very thick accent, so it's hard to understand her. I felt like a number going thru a revolving door. They don't do the best job answering questions. They put oils on your body without asking permission or telling you what it is besides "chinese medicine". There is no real question/answer about your medical issues, allergies or paperwork to be filled out. They just ask where the pain is & don't seem too interested in your history. They may listen to you, but they don't seem to be empathetic. I think Master Zhou may use chemistry to do the reaction with the foil. You can hear it sizzle as it heats up! The small roll that he does after is already warm when he puts it on you, but not as hot as the foil. So I think he wets it & lets it cool down a little & then uses it after the foil patting session. I'm not sure why he rolls the warm thing on you after he does the stuff with the foil & paper towel. The foil gets so hot that it almost burns the skin. I researched online & it seems consistent with an "exothermic" type reaction. Maybe he's using iron, salt & water similar to the Thermacare heat pads. There is no chemical smell. My skin was red in some places after the session, but luckily left no lasting marks. The treatment is very physical. There's some patting of the skin & deep jiggling of some body parts & massage on the belly area & almost a pinching sensation of the shoulders. I told him a few times that the foil was "too hot". All he did was a slight chuckle & repeated "hot" & blow air out of his mouth, which did NOT help it cool down! If he really is a qigong master he should be able to control the temperature of his heat & send less energy & since he was NOT able to do that, I'm guessing that there must be some chemical reaction involved with the foil. I was disappointed & had a bit of anxiety after the session. I did NOT find it relaxing or therapeutic at all! He isn't doing much energy work during your session, most of it is too physical & I didn't care for it. I do know he has potential to do energy work,as I could sense some of it, but I was too distracted by the vigorous "massage",pain on my skin from the hot foil packs & the skin sensitivity in general. He seems like a nice enough person, but I'm not happy with the experience of that "healing session" & doubt I'll ever try it again. I may try his Qi-gong or tai chi class, but I'm a little hesitant now after that & not being able to communicate with him in English. read more

Unfortunately, I must agree with the previous (2012) reviewer. I think that Master Zhou may indeed be a formidable QiGong practitioner, teacher and healer, but any true healer must possess 2 qualities to be able to heal someone: 1) the ability to isolate the source of whatever illnesses need healing, and 2) the ability to truly, tangibly heal it, with a difference that can be clearly felt by the patient Quoting Master Zhou's website, it says: "He specializes in diagnosing and treating "undiagnosable" or mystery illnesses, and is known as 'The Healer's Healer.'" and "Master Zhou's Medical Qi Gong therapy can effectively treat any type of disease or imbalance, including those which are chronic or formidable" I drove all the way to El Monte from Ventura County to see if he could, indeed, diagnose & effectively treat 2 serious illnesses I have, that have been deemed mysterious & undiagnosable by many other doctors. I experienced no relief from either problem, from his treatment, but more importantly, communicating questions through his female translator, I got no sense that he had any idea what my problems were or what was the core source of them. He just said, "Your liver & kidney are a little weak, and you are tired." That's it. No details, no description of how a slightly weak liver or kidney were connected to the considerable symptoms I experience, no "I know just what's happening and can heal it in one or more sessions," just some non-communicative massage and Qi heat treatments in a general way across my body, then off you go, not even a "Thanks for coming." Without going into detail, the symptoms I suffer are formidable, life-destroying and the kind that make most patients or doctors suspect a serious disease. If this man truly is a medical intuitive who can spot core conditions in the body-mind, he would have had a lot more to say than just "Your liver & kidney are a little weak, and you are tired." I just didn't see any evidence of the intuitive & healing powers this master is supposed to have. Just a nice light massage, and no communication, for $140. If he works for you, bless you! Master Zhou is the real deal and yes the etiquette that some people are used to getting isn't their speciality. He is really amazing at what he does and I've been blown away. The treatment can be very painful but the results are completely worth it. Especially great for very sick people and anyone seeking to experience something extraordinary. The previous reviewers betray their fear and ego in their comments, as well as their insufficient research in Qi, qigong, and Wu Dang monestary where Master Zhou was trained. I was treated by Master Zhou between January 2001 and May 2003 after receiving 6 weeks of high-dose radiation to the head and spine following brain surgery to remove a deadly Adult Medulloblastoma from the 4th and 5th ventricles of my brain,and continuing for the next two years while receiving weekly chemotherapy. The doctors told my wife I had less than a 10% chance of survival, so the chemo was as nasty as it gets: Vincristine, Carboplatin, Cisplatin, and CCNU. I would be a MESS two days after chemo, and would go to Master Zhou for a weekly 40 minute medical qigong massage; I would walk out whistling and feeling pretty damn good, all things considered. He even made my hair grow while ACTIVELY RECEIVING chemotherapy! I studied martial arts in college, and had done research on qigong so I was somewhat familiar with it. After my chemo ended I studied Elementary and Intermediate Qigong with Master Zhou, and I used it to overcome the debilitating side-effects that I got from my chemo. I recommend the other reviewers read Kenneth Cohen's book, "The Way of Qigong: the art and science of chinese energy healing" so they can understand why Master Zhou does not NEED to speak with them about medical history, or their personal fears or worries. He can perceive where the Qi is weak, and through years of diligent training he can project Qi to the necessary points on the energy meridians of the body to boost weak qi, clear stagnant qi, or remove toxic qi. Going one time for a chronic illness is like taking one pill out of a course antibiotics--NOT GOING TO WORK! As for the heat, there is no chemical reaction "trick", it is Master Zhou projecting the Qi in the form of heat. He was filmed with a thermal camera for Ripley's Believe It or Not and was able to get a paper towel damp with only tap water up to 200 degrees F. My father-in-law is a 40 year, board certified psychiatrist, and teaching fellow at NYU. He watched Master Zhou treat me from two feet away, and saw Master Zhou put a wet paper towel (which he wet with water he drank right in front of us and invited my father in law to drink as well) then put that inside of a piece of Reynold's aluminum foil, and finally inside a piece of cotton fabric. None of this is to fake the heat, it is to keep the patient from getting third degree burns! In acupuncture, oil will be ignited on the ends of the needles to increase the flow of Qi, this is called Moxibustion--Master Zhou's qi is so powerful after 60+ years of practice, he doesn't need the oil or the needles to get even greater efficacy. My father in law has had Master Zhou work on the chronic herniated disks in his back with great effect, as well as the neuropathy he encountered in his fingers and toes from the chemo drug Tarceva. After only two consecutive days of 40 minute treatments my father-in-law saw the pain in his fingers and toes drop from an 8 to a 2. Also, my wife had been told all her adult life that she only had one working ovary, and might never be able to have children. I was told by my oncologists that due to the chemotherapy I received I might never be able to impregnate my wife. Nevertheless, Master Zhou worked on my wife's ovaries one time, and when I was finished with chemo and told that my bodily fluids were no longer toxic to others my wife became pregnant THE FIRST TIME WE TRIED! Our son is now 10 years old, and we have a 5 year old daughter. The Western world needs to learn about and de-mystify Qi. It is scientifically quantifiable, and could not only reduce illness significantly in America, but also prevent a tremendous amount of illness. It's simple to learn, requires no expensive equipment to practice, and can greatly increase personal health, mental clarity, and overall sense of well-being. Imagine if your western Dr. graduated top of his class from John Hopkins, then practiced medicine at the highest levels doing the most profound healing for the next 60 years, six days a week--- THAT is basically what Master Zhou is, but in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Whether he was helping lower someones consistent pain or telling someone they had a tumor that needed to be taken out asap by a doctor which in fact turned out to be the case . Master Zhou's assistant Shung Yan(Cheyenne) is a great HEALER. They do healing and give Chi Gong lessons and I think Kung Fu lessons. I went in for my rib today. I had an old bruise that hadn't healed fully and the assistant Shung Yan(Cheyenne) worked on it for 1 hour; the pain is 50% if not even more than 50% gone. This was a bruise that drove me nuts for 2-3 years(the last 9 months were horrible I hadn't found a healer yet at the time). She's also worked on my right hand I had a larger knuckle on my middle finger; she's reduced that. She does bone work. She also has Chi(Qi) fire; which helps when she massages. She's very helpful, I pretty much got my full psychological sanity back with two sessions in total. She's awesome. I completely recommend her.. I decided to wait until I had 3 sessions for back pain after blowing 3 discs in my back. I have had previous back surgery and that was not fun so am willing to try acupuncture and Chi Gong message and therapy. I think it would be helpful if you would google his name on Youtube and look at the many videos of what he does. He is not practicing medicine but trying to help your body clear your Chi. Look up on Netflix Chi Gong for beginners. There are many good videos. Once you understand Chi Gong practice, you will understand his method of message. The videos from different documentaries have measured the heat coming off his hands.......and yes they are hot. He was also on Ripleys Believe it or Not. After the first session I was able to drive home without pain. I do not take pain medications so for me this is awesome. Do I think my disc's have popped back into place.... NO..... but if I am finally not having pain everyday , I am happy. If you are not open to Acupuncture or other types of medicine than he is probably not for you. This is not a Doctors office. They also hold Chi Gong exercise classes there. Do not expect someone to heal you if you are not willing to do a little work yourself. So do your research. Look up the videos and go from there. I had an amazing and awe inspiring experience getting a healing with Master Zhou at his current El Monte location. It is true that the young lady working the front desk and taking your $ lacks much warmth, but she was not rude or anything. I think she is a patient who is probably working there to learn or to pay for her healing sessions as she appears to be the woman with cancer in her face from a video I saw on youtube of Master Zhou. So, take it easy people, you never know who you are dealing with or what they are going through. Master Zhou does not speak much English, but he was very nice and has such wonderful energy. Just looking at him, I wanted to give him a hug. The healing consisted of me first being asked what my issues are, and having them translated to Master Zhou by the young lady. I was then told to lay on the massage table, where he had laid fresh paper, and he began a very aggressive and rough massage of the entire back of my body. It was very vigorous for sure, but not painful. Then I was asked to turn over and it proceeded on the other side. Then after the massage I heard Master Zhou go to the sink and run water, then I heard foil and paper towels, and knew from watching youtube videos and that show SuperHumans on Netflix that the BIG HEAT was coming next !!!! First he did my back. I knew it would be hot, but holy crap I had no idea how hot. I had been told to say HOT when it got too hot. So I did, and when I said "hot" he moved his foil/wet paper towel pad thingy to the next spot. He would move it, flick his hands and launch heat like the fire from a dragon's belly into my skin. HOT HOT!!! I would yell and move on to singe the next area LOL. It was super intense. Believe me I was thinking that this better resolve my issues or I will never, ever come back, that heat was so intense. Then I was told to turn over and this is when it got crazy because I could finally SEE what he was doing. I had read about people postulating about how it was he generated that heat and how people suggested he was using some chemical to generate the heat. Well, after seeing it yourself you will know that is impossible. You see, he puts that foil/paper pad on you and you feel just a little moist warmth. Then he flicks his palm at the area and WHAM!! the heat arrives with intensity. I yelled HOT and he moved on. The pad was just warm, and the heat did not arrive until he flicked his palm again. So there is NO WAY it was just the pad generating the heat because it would then be consistently hot, and it would be decreasing in heat as the session went on. It was very clear to me that Master Zhou is the real deal after watching him and feeling the heat arrive after he made those flicking gestures with his hands. I also felt heat in my own palms even though he had not done any work on my palms. But none of the above prepared me for the results of his incredible healing work. It appears that both of the issues I described at the beginning of the session are GONE. I had an issue for which I took medicine daily. I no longer need the medicine. My food allergies have also gone. I can't believe it. I just ate several items that normally I would not have been able to. How amazing this is, is just starting to set in. I am also feeling more energetic, and am wide awake and feeling great as soon as I wake up. My meditations are also more powerful, and it seems like I can work out longer without tiring.
