Owners are very knowledgeable and will continue retesting your vehicle until it passes, then you pay.

Advertisement says they open at 8. Showed up at 8. Parking lot is filled with filthy cars that look like they haven't ran in ages. A guy on a bicycle comes by and tells me they open at 9. I left because I had to go to work. Will update if I return. read more

Been coming here over 15 yrs, always greeted by friendly helpful Eddie. Always recommend my friends and family and they always mention what a great guy and business he runs. read more

I took my 05 G35 Infiniti on 01/11/22 for smog test and the guy there in charge who's the owner said my car passed everything but he failed it because a bit of black smoke was coming out of the tail pipe I asked him how can you say it passed then say it filed due to the bit of black smoke when they don't even put anything in the tail pipe to read the emissions it's all by scanner know, I knew this guy wasn't being honest and full of crap because he said there was an issue with my engine and it could be major problems that might cost a couple of grand,I know how to work on cars and there was nothing wrong with my engine so I took my car to get re tested @ Abel and Sons Star Certiffied @ 13453 E Imperial hwy Whittier Ca the owner Abel did the test and my car passed, Abel from the shop said my car never had any issues he doesn't understand why it was failed in the first place,Abel said that shops like Master Smog have a quota with DMV wich means they have to fail a certain amount of cars to meet requirements from the DMV Don't take your car to Master Smog in Fullerton he will take your $50 and fail your car read more

Can't complain about Eddie, he is very nice and friendly. My car was finished fast. With the coupon from Yelp is very helpful!!

I called 2 days before I head here to make sure they're open. Eddie was nice enough to give me a quote and told me about their yelp promo. The place is surrounded by other smog test center. Came here early morning and Eddie was friendly and did smog on my 2005 Hyundai in 10 minutes. Great customer service! Great work! I am glad I passed the smog and I truly highly recommend this place. Thumbs up! read more

The dude who works is sooo nice and helpful. I will recommended this place to all my friends and family for sure

So happy I found this place. Figuring out a place to go to get my car smogged at a start certified station made me nervous but the owner/manager, Eddie, was very nice and helpful. I called before to see if I should make an appointment because it was a Saturday and then took it in about 30 mins later. The process only took about 10-15 mins from arrival to me driving away so no need to sit and wait forever which was great. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for its next smog! read more

Master Smog and Test Only - Getting my car smogged at the Star certified "Master Smog & Test only" station. - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Fullerton, California

Very professional every time I get a smog thank you for you honesty I will recommend you to everyone I know

I qualifed for special discount of 2000 and later car model. Star smog for about $38 ($8 for CA DMV fee). Very nice. Test about 15 min for the first time. Did not pass OBD2 monitor test the first time, he teach me what to do, and let me come back to test a 2nd time for free. I did it in the same day. (You can always tell, he actually want you to pass the first time. It is my fault that I did not drive my car for longer time; I should have known that after month of collecting dust, my car need to be driven for longer the expected before the test.) Also, Before he run the test for a 2nd time, he did a small check for me to make sure I drove enough for OBD 2 monitor check. 2nd time also take about 15 min (probably because he have to check the whole thing again, not just the failed item). The person who perform the test is very nice. Overall, pretty good experience. read more

I visited this shop yesterday afternoon for the smog test. The team was so kind and generous throughout the entire process. So I was very delighted for my experience and would be more than happy visit this shop again. read more

Really nice guy. Was very fast. The location was kinda hard to find but it is at the end of a complex filled with mechanics. There is an additional 8.25 service fee for certification but that's understandable. read more

I got my smog check here on a Saturday, early afternoon. We were expecting a possible wait, but were delighted that the car was serviced right away. The place isn't very appealing to the eye, but that's expected for an automotive center. We waited in the air-conditioned lobby and were in and out in less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend Master Smog. They're quick and efficient! read more

Really nice guy and easy to deal with. I was in a rush to make it to the dmv before they closed I called he said in and out in less than 20 and didn't let me down I was out with time to spare and made it to the dmv. Thank you for a great service and will definitely go back and highly recommend them. read more

If you want to do the yelp price be sure to tell them 1st thing and don't expect them to tell you of that deal. Also, if your car doesn't pass the first time let me be the first to tell you that you only have 14 days to come back without paying another fee. It's actually 30 days your info stays in their system but they didn't tell me of this the first day I was here when I paid the fee when my car did not pass. Paying over $70 for a smog is ridiculous that they don't even honor a free retest especially since I wasn't aware of this 14 day limit to get repairs done kinda was a bummer better communication would've been nice. read more

Awesome!! Found this place on Yelp, they were super close to where I happen to live and all the reviewers mentioned how great Eddie was and they were right! I called this morning and spoke with him about bringing my car in for a smog check, he was very friendly from the start. Didn't need to make an appointment and was even able to bring my car in the same day. He helped in giving me some directions as its tucked into a little shopping center filled with other car places and his directions helped me find it super easily. He said it would take about 15 minutes and that's exactly how long it took total time from getting there to leaving. Super easy, quick and he even found a recall on my car, had the info printed onto the invoice he gave me and let me know about it. Awesome service, very happy I chose to come here and will keep coming here for future smog checks along with recommending Eddie and his place to anyone who needs to get their car smog checked!! read more
