I booked an appointment and…read moreexplained to the person on the phone that I had previously had chunks of my hair bright pink and that I wanted to do a color correction back to chocolate brown she said she would dye my whole head with dark brown dye and i would be fine, within a week the pieces that were pink were red and the rest of my hair was dark brown and it was super noticeable and I had called her and asked if she could fix it and she said to come in, and when I did I had explained to her that since my hair had been bleached so many times that it had lost it's natural pigmentation meaning she would need to use a filler color first and then go over it with the final color again so that it doesn't fade red. And she ignored me and proceeded to dye the red pieces jet black and I simply asked if she was going to put a filler color in once again and she said "who told you about filler color? Are you a cosmetologist?" And I was honestly shocked and just said no and she proceeded to do my hair the way she wanted. Within a week later my hair was red again. We ended up waiting until about 6 PM and had Kim and Michelle (who I believe is the owner) do our nails. Before starting, I explained that I wanted gel that wasn't too thick or too thin. Michelle said they had different kinds of gels, and when I asked about the prices, she told me **hard gel was $70** and **builder gel was $110**. I chose the $70 option since it was within my budget. They started our nails around 6:05 PM and finished quickly before closing at 7 PM. Both Kim and Michelle did an **amazing, phenomenal job** our nails look beautiful and professionally done. However, I was completely surprised at checkout. I had gotten hard gel with a cat-eye color, and my total came out to **$120**. I've never paid that much for a manicure before, even my Russian manicures cost less! While I understand some services can add to the price, this total felt unexpected and not clearly communicated upfront. Heather meets me at the door, masked, and follows all COVID protocols. Her work room is clean and very comfortable.
