Her technique causes as little pain as possible, after all no wax is comfortable, and her attention to detail is why I keep coming back. I have also gotten many massages from her over the years, and I will forever swear by them; they are truly magical. I like to treat myself so I have gotten massages at many boutiques. When I first came to Bridget for a massage, I was satisfied in the beginning because all I wanted was relaxation, and hers were the most relaxing I had experienced (even before she added hot stone massages, which are my favorite, she had me hooked on hers over other people's hot stone. But now she offers the service as well and it's amazing!!). Since I started, I have been in a car accident that greatly hurt my back and am currently pregnant. I've been to multiple massage therapist that we're referrals from my doctor for the accident and no one helped (and a few hurt), Bridget has been the only person who can actually help me get any relief from the pain and so to this day, I view her as a true gift to this world (excuse the dramatics, but if you were in as much pain as I was, you'd be practically kissing her feet for any relief you could get too). As I said, I am pregnant and that along with my accident injuries has not been a walk in the park, but any chance I get to get into see Bridget for a massage is always such a great experience. Massages are a scary thing when you're pregnant and there's specific things that a massage therapist needs to know to protect the baby. Bridget massaged me my 2nd and 3rd trimesters and I trust her with my body and my baby fully, she's aware of the safe places and adjusted her pressure for my new sensitivity levels and I will forever be loyal to Bridget. Try her out and I assure you, you will be too. I don't put my name on much, but when I find someone/thing that works, I feel it is my responsibility to share. Sorry this got kind of long, but I just felt I needed to give a full picture of Bridget's capabilities since she has been there for me in a much greater way than you'd think a wax or a massage could be.

However at the time of my service with holly she only had about 3 reviews but I guess I shouldn't have mentioned I'd be leaving a review when asking for the refund. So now I feel inclined to leave my honest review. The salon was not the neatest and the room was messy. The equipment was pretty outdated and this service didn't come with a wash which I was fine with. This was the worst haircut and highlights I've ever had. I was super clear about what I wanted, I asked for only an inch off of the length, some face framing pieces that were chin length and then just a few highlights to lighten up my hair. I was going on a birthday trip that week and also had interviews coming up. I cried when i saw my hair that day. I had to book an appointment last minute with another stylist to hopefully fix what happened. She cut so much off in the front that it looked like a mullet or a bowl cut. The pieces in front were cut so short. This resulted in me having to cut my hair short to fix the choppy pieces. She only put a few highlights on the top and nothing in the back so I had to go over it with box dye and go back to my regular hair color. After I sent her an email with photos of my hair and explaining how I had to get it fixed, She did give me a refund for the Groupon and apologized which I appreciate. I believe she should have paid for me having to go and get it fixed. She was a nice person but I don't understand how a trim and some face framing could get messed up so badly. I truly wish she would have just told me she couldn't do it. I came in with long beautiful hair I'm so disappointed with how my hair looks now. She is so professional and knows exactly what she is doing. I've never had someone actually take their time on my brows to wax them to perfection like Nakita does. I have naturally thick brows and want them to be able to grow a little more and fill in and now with Nakita they can, because she shapes them to perfection and allows them room to grow while still looking clean. We've been working on getting them to match and grow-in for quite sometime. I don't let anyone else touch my brows but her because she knows what we've been working towards. Lip & chin I'm not as particular with who does those. But for brows grow-in and shaping, I get pretty particular & protective of. They're open 10-6pm all days and Closed on Sundays. Walk-in are welcome! if they're too busy to keep lobby area from over crowding, they will have you sign in with your cell phone number then call you when to come in from your vehicle. I even told her that it hurt and asked her to be more gentle, but her response was rude and unprofessional. She said I should have made an appointment, even though I was previously told that appointments are not needed for eyebrow services. The overall attitude felt very mean and selfish, and I did not feel cared for as a customer. I am not satisfied with the service at all she should be ashamed of treating customers this way.

I was not expecting a "spa experience," but I did expect the wax room & equipment to be clean / sanitary. They did place a foam sheet on top of the bed that is not on the photo attached. I did go through with the wax, against my better judgment because I was off for vacation the next day. Overall service was fine, quick and to the point. But to be honest I was scared to even place my purse on the chair & lay like Donald Duck on the foam sheet. It was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.
