This salon has really good customer service. It was our first visit so we didn't know what to expect. They were friendly and took their time to provide quality service. Even when it got close to closing time, they took their time. No rush at all! The service was great, and they made us feel so welcome. My nails and my daughter's look great. Highly recommend if you want top-notch care. read more

Paid 100 dollars for these nails, really expensive. The problem is that they lied about the pricing said it was 80 dollars. Even just a simple acrylic is 50-60 dollars while at other places it's 30. When they were doing my nails they drilled my skin and it hurt really bad. My cuticles were irritated and it was really awkward because they didn't talk. They charge an extra 40 dollars for the charm -- which the only Charms they have are pearls. The French tips itself are an extra 10 dollars and they look like straight lines. These nails look equivalent to press on SHEIN nails. Never going here again read more

The staff at Master Nails are all super friendly, welcoming and helpful. I always have an amazing experience when I go. The owner, Lee, is very accommodating to all customers, even offering to stay late herself if they are busy the customer can not a wait. My nails are always shaped to perfection and the designs they create are exquisite. This is the best nail salon I have ever been too. I always receive compliments on my nails. The price is fantastic too! I would recommend this salon to everyone! read more

I am super sad to write this but today was a terrible experience. I been coming to master nail for years and was always impressed with the service and quality. The owners are great and the place is clean and they offer a lot of services but the one nail tech is horrible! She is aggressive and won't take no for an answer. She was trying to get me to change the style, color, and cut of my nails. Like let me be!! She also did a terrible job. It was rushed, she missed steps of the pedicure and manicure. She was sighing when I didn't take her suggestions and I was polite the entire time! But it's exhausting after she keeps nagging after I say no 2-5 times. Then she asked me to tip before the service ended and said go take money out from the atm. Like she was unhinged and it was too much. She didn't even push my cuticles back and didn't clean up my nails and didn't paint the sides. This might sound crazy but she has done this before and I gave them one last try. This lady legit gets mad when you don't take her suggestions and will purposely do a bad job or that is what it feels like. Sadly, will not be going back after years of being a loyal customer. It is sad to pay decent money for the nail tech to be rude and act like I am a burden. Pedicure looks decent and they do last long compared to other nail places but the customer service was so bad, I can't return. read more

UPDATE: Nails are already chipping the next day!! It's one thing if the technician can't make me enjoy my pedicure by her lack of skills, but I was nearly in tears as I cringed behind my mask the entire time sitting through the other poorly skilled technician attempting gel refills on me. I really wanted to like this place for the convenience and the cleanliness of the newer shopping center, but the owner is shady and the quality plummets each visit. It was confirmed who the owner was today, and they have a serious lack of communication issue with customers. I have had other services done and was not pleased, to say the least. read more

I walked in around 1130 today. Perfect timing. The place was steadily busy. Probably 15-30 minute wait as my nails were getting done. I was undecided how to get my nails done. I'm pretty laid back and let the nail tech decide. Design was okay but I like the colors. Honestly, I was so undecided. But I'm happy to find a place that does designs. Pricing is good. Discount for paying cash. Tips are cash only. Place is clean; tools are clean. I was done within an hour. I'll go back again. Lots of brow and lash options too. Maybe next time! read more

Lee and team are great!! I didn't have an appointment and they took me and stayed way past close to give me a refill and a pedi. Everyone was so nice and attentive! A little pricey but for the consideration of them staying and the result it was worth it. read more

Avoid at all costs: I went in asking for a dip manicure and was sat down by the women and this is where it all goes downhill. 1. She harshly used an electric sander to not only ruin the tops of my nails by giving them a cross hatch pattern, but she also absolutely destroyed my cuticle and made me bleed on all sides of my finger nails 2. Attempted to buff my nails but actually only did two of 10 fingers before starting to dip. 3. Did not file or shape my nails at all 4. Did not remove the old color I had on. When I said something about it, she said " oh don't worry the new color will cover the old color 5. Pulled out old already opened tools when it came to cutting the excess cuticle off the sides 6. When I told her I couldn't go forward with the manicure because everything just burned she said oh no worry you get regular Avoid this place at all costs. It's cheap but you get what you pay for. The photos Ive included show how inflamed and irritated my nails and cuticle beds are now thanks to her. read more

Bring cash for 5% discount. Great customer service and a large variety of colors and services. I got a mani/pedi. The salon is brand new, so all the chairs are functioning. They customized my color and made sure I got lots of sparkle! The owner put a heat wrap on my shoulders and even brought me a new one when it cooled down. She offered me a drink, too. Update: I originally gave this place 5 stars, but I have developed an infection in one of my fingers where a tool was accidentally jammed in my cuticle. I ended up bleeding a small amount. Now my right middle finger is swollen, sore and draining. read more

Went for my first visit yesterday. It's in the new shopping center across from Target on Ridge Pike. Salon was clean, & cute. Everyone was very nice. I talked to the owner but didn't get her name. She was very personable & sweet. I got a pedicure. It was very relaxing and my feet & toe nails look awesome. She did a great job. It did take an entire hour to do. I'm sure she'll get faster with experience. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Absolutely horrible. Do not recommend this place. Called and scheduled a reservation with the staff for a pedicure which was accepted. Got to my appointment 5 -10 minutes early. Then made to wait a half hour to be seated after my appointment time and then another 45 minutes before my pedicure began (which was only because I said something so who knows how much longer I would've waited then). Technician did a suboptimal job, rushed through the whole thing, and especially considering how expensive it was... the quality of work was well below the price. I would go to Eden nails or Atwg Nails & Spa. read more

Was excited to try this nail salon for a change from my usual place for nail treatment. I arrived and there was a check in for names. There were also 2 other women in front of me. They said i can leave and come back which was nice. Came back in a half hour and still a wait. Waited another 20-25 minutes until a lady filled a tub for my pedicure and called me back to the pedicure area. I then had to wait about 30 min with my feet in the water for service. It was ridiculous and I had been waiting for about 1 hour at this point and others were also getting very frustrated and I feel like they did this on purpose with my feet in the water so it would be like I wouldn't wait for long. Finally as it was my turn the lady doing my feet seemed distracted and kept stopping to do other things. It was not relaxing at all and felt rushed and seemed like it took about half the time a normal pedicure should take. I rarely get pedicures and it's my only alone time - for others in this situation i do not recommend this place at all. No apologies for the wait time and I understand many places have staffing issues these days but there are other ways to go about this. I left before a manicure and plan to go back to my regular nail salon where I can sit and relax For a 45 minute pedicure with no speaking or distractions read more

I went here for the first time today and I had an absolutely wonderful experience! Everything was exceptionally clean and staff was amazing. I have not been out much since COVID, and I felt very safe and comfortable at Master Nail Salon. Staff was really friendly and worked well with my incredibly ticklish feet. I was also given a great color recommendation for a gel manicure and I am so glad, because it looks great! I will definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend! read more

I got a mani pedi today, the pedi was great no complaints. My nail tech rushed through my nails, leaving the edges super uneven, the filing uneven, and only doing one coat. I asked if she'd fix the edges and do another coat and she only fixed my thumbs edge, left the rest alone. Definitely did it all too quick as my whole left hand is full of bubbles. Definitely not worth the $15, probably should have done my fingers myself. read more

Everyone here is very polite. I give this place 3 stars for the fact that I had made an appointment yet I wasn't seated until 15 minutes after my appointment time, I felt like I was being a little rushed & they weren't the sharpest at applying the polish, I left with nail polish around my cuticles and around my fingers. I am satisfied with the shape tho. I saw from other reviews a 5% discount with a cash payment and I did pay cash but there was no discount put on read more

My daughter and I went in for pedicures and had to share the same technician. It took forever! During my pedicure she filed my skin several times it was painful and I had to ask that she be more careful. The toe polish was all over both of our cuticles. There was no leg massage at all, which is the best part of a pedicure. The salon was clean and well maintained however the service we received was enough to make us never come back. There are several other salons in the area that do a better job. read more

Got my nails here just a couple days ago and I got acrylics and they are already popping off , I've never had acrylics lastjust a couple days I spent $60 on my set because they upcharge for coffin shape which I've never heard of any nail salon doing I was also upcharged for asking for them shorter and didn't tell me till I had to pay ... never coming here again. read more

The young girl that tried to do our pedi clearly did not have a license. She did not know what she was doing.

I had an appointment for 11:00 am to get a pedicure and a gel manicure. They didn't start working on me until 40 minutes later. My pedicure was fine except for the fact that she cut my foot on the side while filling the skin on the bottom on my feet. The manicure is horrible. She used a thick nail file and filed my nails hard. I could feel that they are thin. I have had three of them break very low. I will not be going back here again. read more

My pedicure was the worst I've ever had. The technician for my pedicure was so rough & painful that I told her twice that she was hurting me just during the pedicure and the nail tech was not much better. It took me 3 hours for a pedi/mani when most other places I've been to, I can be out in an hour & half. The best (worst!) customer service example came when a client came in & sat for a pedicure & when they turned the faucet on, it was facing the wrong way & water sprayed all over her. The tech blamed it on a child that was in there earlier playing with the faucet, but the only child that was there in the hours I was there, was very well behaved and not touching anything she shouldn't be. I thought it was pretty lame to blame a child for your own laziness in not checking to make sure the faucet was correct before turning on the water. Needless to say, I will not be back! read more

I am a creature of habit and have been going to the same nail salon for three years. I saw this just opened and it is very close to my house and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! Lee and her girls are the absolute sweetest! So many beautiful colors to chose from and they all match if you are into that which I am. Prices are very good as well! Today I just had the classic pedicure and it was a very relaxing experience. From the heated neck wrap to glass of wine down to the actual pedicure couldn't have asked for anything better! I'm very intrigued to try the spa pedicure next time. Looking forward to going back for my nail appointment tomorrow! read more

When this salon first opened, they were really good, clean, and friendly. I moved out of the area and began going to another salon and began getting dip. I moved back to this area and began going to Master nail salon from time to time. The first time I got dip, the whole process was very different from the shop I originally started getting dip from. It was super thick and uneven, I didnt go back for awhile. I recently went back, hoping the experience would be better.... NOPE, worse! I went on a Saturday around 1:30, there were only 2 people in the salon, which I thought was odd for a Saturday afternoon. I got the dip service, better than before but still noticeable different from the other shop. Literally, not even a full week later, I had 2 nails with paint lifting. I go back a few days later after thinking about it and how this was def not fair considering spending $75 for dip and pedi, plus a tip. There was a sign on the door saying the salon would now be closed on Sundays until it's convenient for them to be open again... so now it's making sense to me that the quality of this shop has really gone down and it must be a struggle to get customers to return. I spoke to the owner, she seemed a little dismissive as she asked who did my nails, I told her it was her and she told me to come back tomorrow at 3, I said that I could not get to the shop at the time due to work and traveling, I could come at 5 like the time that I was there at the moment coming from work. She told me ok come at 6... this was obviously not going to work being as tho I live 20 mins past the salon and I would have to go home and then come back to Royersford and then go back home. I definitely felt like she was wasnt tryin to be accommodating considering their lack of skill. I said ok, however I didnot return, as I did not feel valued and I knew the quality would be the same, so I took the loss of this dip service and just returned to the salon in Bluebell where the quality last at least 3-4 weeks and is actually cheaper. read more

For being brand new, I was disappointed in the cleanliness of this place. The placemats were stained and towels were dingy. (I may be being picky but that is the stuff I notice) The woman who did my nails did an OK job; I would probably try for one of the better known girls if I ever did decide to go back. However, what really turned me off (and the main reason I won't return) was that my nail technician had her own cuticle cutters that after she was done with me, wiped them with the paper towel, put the protector on it, and put them in her desk. That is an infection waiting to happen. Prices are reasonable however I waited a good amount of time before being seen. read more

I have been going there since 5 months after this salon opened. The owner is a nasty woman. She apparently doesn't like a person for whatever reason, then they become her target. I was always very nice to everyone always. She has since gotten so mean to the point of ignoring her steady customers . I went in to get a full set replaced, she never said hello to me, she left me sitting there 45 minutes with no words said to me. I watched as she spoke so sweetly to everyone else yet, not one word to me. Her husband works in there now also and he came up and took a woman and said I didn't see you standing there. Not one word of when I will be taken. I have never done anything to these people. How mean !! This from a business owner. Do yourself a favor, if you don't want this treatment stay away from Master Nails. Lee is the owner not the manager. They gouge people, charge whatever they want and when you question it they get an attitude. I went to Pretty Nails, was taken within 1 minute and my nails are Beautiful!! read more
