First experience was worth the price. I was met with kindness and was happy with my nails, and the price charged for all of my services. I saved a lot compared to other salons I've been to before and was happy to find a more affordable spot with good results. So I came back to have a fill. The whole process was rushed, rough and was charged the same amount for way less work. The prices on the board were way lower than what I was charged. I understand add ons but I felt like there is no price consistency and it's difficult to communicate such concerns. When I got home I noticed slight flaws and slightly uneven nails. I just felt like my second experience was cold, rough, overpriced and I did not feel like a valued costumer. Be ready for them to upsell you extra services you did not ask for or mention. I like this place and have never really had any issues with them. The only complain I have is if they raise their prices they need to inform the customers ahead of time. My first time at this salon and I went in on a Sunday for a GEL medi/pedi before having my baby and by Wednesday the gel on my finger had chipped a lot, and was denied a design because they we're getting too busy. In total I spent 90 plus tip for this to happen. I always get gel manicures and never had them peel within the first week. Sorry to see such poor reviews. I tend to not have too many issues because I come at "off" times when possible. Today I just got a polish change and they charged me 10$ and an eyebrow wax for 7$. The technician who served me did a nice job and she did both services. I'm very very worried about getting a full pedicure. My daughter got an infected toe due to a suspected pedicure (generally speaking- I'm not saying that happened here). so now I just go for the polish change so that my feet don't scare people off the beach. It looks great and it's economical too. I've never really liked pedicures and I get skeeved out when my toes are poked and prodded with pointy sharp instruments. Filing my nails makes me cringe like nails on a chalkboard. I also will not allow the cheese grater instrument anywhere near me. In the past it's been a brush only for my feet. I digress. I'm glad I was able to stop in and get both services and now I don't need to be ashamed of my gross feet. read more

I went in today not reading any reviews prior, mistake number one.... I was a walk-in but its was dead in their...mistake number two....now I got a full set of acrylics and I did get a small design but nothing ridiculous, aaaand well im not pleased. The lady who did my nails filed and filed and filed away at my nails BEFORE the acrylic was even on, and didnt cut or clean the underneaths of my natural nails. She got up and disappeared for about 15 minutes without a word, and she kept looking outside and not at my nails. All in all very dissatisfied with the service and the results. read more

NEVER go to Pro-Nails in Royersford off Ridge Pike. I walked in this morning at 11:30, they said they were busy so I made an appointment for a manicure, a gel manicure, a full set, lip, and eyebrow waxing (we had gift cards and wanted to have a fun sister date). The receptionist told us to come back at 12:30. We come back, and it takes 10 minutes to be even acknowledged. I understand they're busy so we sit and wait. I go back and they place my hands in PURE acetone (literally dumped into a bowl), and my sister gets her nails cut, and my other little sister gets her polish removed. It takes over half an hour for either of them to get their nails polished. The one, who is 9, got her nails cut so short she had dried blood on her cuticles. The other has varying lengths and nails also cut painfully short. My hands were RUINED after sitting in the acetone FOR AN HOUR. I wasn't seen until 2:15. Even then, she was up and down to do waxings, and had people in and out while I was still sitting despite the fact I had been waiting for literally hours. And when she tried to charge me $85 (keeping in mind the eyebrow waxing was never done) after I vocalized I was upset for sitting around and waiting for hours, she told me it was my fault because I took my nails out of the acetone and that everyone else was waiting. I said for 2 hours??? After having an appointment for 12:30, AND after initially coming in at 11:30 and finally leaving at 3:15? She also got other customers involved, asking for their opinion. They all agreed that it was ridiculous, and that the customer is always right. The establishment is filthy, and the customer service is AWFUL. NEVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!! (The only plus side is that we got to see bohemian rhapsody beginning to end... twice.) read more

Do yourself a favor and don't go here. I went in for a toe polish change and my toenails looked better before I went in than after. The young lady with glasses doing my nails seriously had to use her fingernail after every swipe of polish because she kept getting it on my skin. I get my toes done all the time and have never seen so much of that. After she finished, she STILL had to go in with acetone to get it off my skin. They still look terrible and I'm going to have to do some work or just re-do them myself. You would think that someone who paints nails for a living all day would do a good job. Also, the salon itself is very dirty with unprofessional signage on the walls. The man up front with the long hair was smoking the nastiest smelling cigarettes outside and my car smelled like it when I got in it. NEVER returning here. She also said he just walked back in the door and started filing but never washed his hands The carpets are a mess - ripped and acrylics laying all over the floor. Giving this place one star was even a stretch. I walked in for a pedicure and waited for 45 minutes until anyone said a word to me. I watched the nail technicians use the same foot scrubbing tools amongst different clients without washing anything. I have to say I'm more then upset with this place. I know they aren't the best at doing nails so I would only go there to get a pedicure done. Never ever would I trust them with a manicure but I can't even trust them with a pedicure now. I was there the other day and they were busy so they have one person starting then another person painting the nails and they were in such a rush the paint job looked terrible! I could have done a better job myself. When I complained they just sat there and didn't offer to repaint them. At that point I was so frustrated I just left. Stupid me even tipped the one girl. This place is filthy on the inside, they rush through manicures, and are not receptive to your opinions. My nails were SO uneven and they gave me attitude when I asked to make them even. Don't waste your money !!! The only reason it's getting a one star is because the pedi was ok at best. I went there to get a pedi and a full set. Pedi turned out fine beside the girl clipping me. I got another girl for my nails I showed her a picture of the shape I wanted almond like however what I got was a lumpy uneven egg shape. I stopped her twice and tell her this wasn't what I wanted. I finally give up and told her I didn't want the gel polish over it ( because I am going somewhere else to get them fix and didn't want to waste the money). Today was my first and last time in this salon. I must start by saying that I am a very easy-going person and have never left a negative review for any company. However, the way I was treated today certainly warrants a negative review. One the the technicians refused to give me a pedicure today. I was told by another technician that it was because it was because she thought I wouldn't tip her. Since I have never been in the salon before and had not communicated with that technician, I can only assume that she thought I wouldn't tip her because I am an African-American female. I respectfully approached the manager about this situation of which he was well aware. I received an acknowledgment but not an apology. I was at Pro Nails on 4/14/17 Good Friday for a pedicure. They use something that looks like a cheese grater to scrap your feet. While the girl was using it I did feel a few spots that I knew were going to hurt. I never expected to not be able to walk the next day! I have gouges on both my heels and side of my foot. The cuts were bleeding and they were deep! Please be careful when they use this on you. I went back to show them and they gave me some Neosporin and a few band aids. That's it! Love this place but every once in awhile I go I get the guy who is not very nice and doesn't seem to take his time. Recently I went and got a gel French manicure and it looked horrible. First he was in the middle of working on 3 women, including myself. Once he got to me He dug his long fingernails into my fingers, didn't file my nails evenly, seemed to throw my hands around, and rushed. After he was done me he went right to the next customer.
