I have been going to Beyond Cuticles for years. I would switch between Hanah ,Tina and Kayla which always do a good job on my nails. My last appointment I got my nails done by Kayla.. She has always been pleasant however last visit she was very rude to me I accidentally hit one of my nails in the dryer She was very upset with me. She very loudly said my name. She told me to lay my hand flat. I will not be going back to that salon. No customer deserves to be treated in that way.. I will not be returning to Beyond Cuticles. I've been a regular at this nail salon for the past seven or eight months, and usually, it's been a pleasant experience. However, my recent visit left me feeling incredibly disappointed and disrespected. When I went in, I had some trouble choosing a nail color out of a book that is covered with cellophane and I was told three times that Kaitlyn would see me as soon as I picked out a color. That meant that I should hurry. I prefer to see the actual sample against my nails to get a better idea of how it will look. Feeling rushed, I showed the technician three colors I was considering, asking if I could see them on my nails. She only brought out one bottle and applied a single coat. When I mentioned I was looking for a deeper mauve shade, she showed me bright fuchsia colors instead. When I pointed out what I was envisioning, she dismissed it, saying it wasn't mauve. When I asked to see a slightly darker shade, her response shocked me. She flatly said, "I'm not going to show you anything else. You didn't like what I picked out for you." It was clear she was angry. She then placed two boxes of polish on the table and asked me to choose, but they were still in their boxes. How could I possibly decide without seeing them on my nails or at least a piece of paper? Reluctantly, I asked her to apply the first color, even though it was too light. She had already put it away and begrudgingly went to get it. During this time, I commented to the customer next to me that it felt like I was there to get yelled at, despite being a paying customer. The technician never spoke to me again, only conversing with her coworker in Vietnamese. I even asked if there was time for a pedicure, and she curtly said yes. As I was leaving, I gave her a generous tip and calmly asked her not to speak to me in that tone again. She didn't respond or even look at me, despite speaking perfect English. I also noticed another customer having issues with her technician, who didn't speak English and was filing her natural nails too roughly despite the customer's protests. The urgency to pick a color here is overwhelming--you're given about 60 seconds. For the amount of money I spend regularly, I expect to leave the salon satisfied, not come home feeling rushed and needing to fix my nails myself. I understand that salons aim to serve as many clients as possible, but it wasn't even busy that day. What hurts the most is that the technician I've been seeing for months didn't acknowledge me as I left. It's clear she's upset with me for not picking a color quickly, but I just want to walk out of the salon happy with my nails. Is that really too much to ask? read more

I have been coming to Beyond cuticles for several years. Kenny and Kayla are wonderful. I have had nails and pedicures done. I am always pleased with the results. Previously I have been to other nail salons, but no one does nails with tips and refills as well as Kayla does. She really takes her time. I absolutely love this salon I've been going here for my acrylics since I was 13. They did amazing work and are all so friendly and the salon is always clean. Ive tried other salons closer to me and have always gone back to here because they simply do the best quality work. Hannah and Kayla are my usual techs and I love them. If you are going for a simple mani-pedi then you will have no problem. My regular polish pedicure is fine and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The prices are pretty cheap too. I went for acrylics and gels and the technician was very rough with my cuticles and nails. The acrylics and gel were applied way too thick and the design was sloppy. Also the kengths of my nails were noticeably uneven. Overall, if you are going for a simple job, then this place is fine. Extras are not recommended here. read more

The most rude people ever. I see they have by appointment only on here. That should be on the front door and signs everywhere inside. I sat for over an hour and a half while they took 4 people ahead of me. I was the only one in there when I got there. They asked me what I wanted after I signed in. After sitting for an hour and 30 minutes I left. They said "Sorry". Maybe they should have told me that they are by appointment only. The customer service sucks. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had for an acrylic refill and gel polish application. My regular nail technician (at another Salon) was out sick and I needed something done fast for an upcoming wedding. I heard great reviews about this place, until I actually received their services myself and I have to strongly disagree! Went in at 6:00 PM on a Wednesday, it was extremely busy but yet the sign says they accept walk-ins. Recommendation - make an appointment!! I ended up waiting an hour after being told it was only going to be 15 minutes. I also had a male technician for the first time ever. I was skeptic at first, but thought I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. I was handled very rough, leaving 6/10 cuticles bleeding and the skin was very "choppy." He also rushed through, and used the machine to file instead of a hand file to reshape. Ouch! I must say it was very uncomfortable. Surprisingly, they looked great when finished! BUT - the very next day, all the gel polish was chipping off of every single nail. I have never had this happen before. Usually my polish would hold up 2-3 weeks until my next visit every time with not a single chip. I'm not very hard on my nails, I work at a desk. Also, 3 nails actually broke! I couldn't believe it. Poor quality. Poor experience. I will never go back here again. read more

When I come here I feel very relaxed. It's always a pleasant experience. It's a little further away from my house than others but its worth it. My favs are Kayla and Caitlyn. Wow...I'm visiting from out of town, needed a pedi and this place was close. Went in at 1pm on a Thurs, it wasn't that busy and I sat in the chair for over an hour in cold water. My feet were a shriveled mess! The tech was really rough too. I asked for a design and my 7 year old daughter could have done a better job. 2 full hours, crap work and they charged me $30 to boot. I guess you have to be Caucasian to receive excellent service from this Salon. I'm an African American woman who came to the salon to get my nails done as I'm going on vacation this wknd. When I arrived no one acknowledged me even after I asked a question. I signed my name and sat down. I hate to even have to write this but a Caucasian woman and young lady came in behind me. They were acknowledged and asked what type of service they are receiving today. The gentleman proceeded to provide the service the woman requested. Meanwhile I'm sitting then looking stupid and was getting a little upset. The gentleman asked me what I wanted and then he proceeded to service the woman that was sitting at his table. After 45 minutes of waiting and now there are two available employees to service the customers. I was waiting and the young lady was waiting too. One of the employees assisted the Caucasian young lady and that upset me to no end. I couldn't believe it.. I've been to this salon before and have never witness what I saw today. It was disturbing and disrespectful. Here it is racism in my face at it fullest. Damn shame!!! read more
