I arrived about 5 minutes prior to opening and was the first one there. He opened up early and took me in right away. I didn't have to get out of the truck at all. He explained everything to me and told me how long it would take. Everything passed and I was out of there in about 20 minutes total. He was also kind enough to give me a printed copy to keep with the truck so in case the sticker doesn't get here in time, we can show that everything is taken care of in the meantime. The nicest guy! What was most frustrating is that he then pointed me to a shop across the street and said they might have a different policy for run-flats--again, ignoring that I had already clarified several times that this is not a run-flat tire. Disappointing for business owner, as I know that auto tech in the back would have taken care of it, but lost business bc of lack of knowledge of front desk staff.

My Type R has IRX 35% all around including windshield and looks super dark since the interior absorbs a lot of light. However, I included an interior shot to show how QUALITY tint is supposed to look regardless of the darkness (I can see easily at night). Time and time again I hear people try to penny pinch and get better deals elsewhere for worse product but Sage and their line of tints speak for themselves. You get what you pay for. Is it worth the money? Most definitely. Is the heat rejection that much better? Yes I'll be back again for my next car!

I was introduced to Master Auto Care because it was an approved repair shop through my automobile insurance company at the time. I first brought my 2019 BMW X3 there in March 2025, shortly after purchasing it, because of corrosion-related issues they said were caused by a coolant leak. Master Auto Care advised that the upper radiator hose, heater hoses, and turbocharger coolant hose needed to be replaced. I paid approximately $1,300, and my insurance company paid about $500 toward the remaining balance. In October 2025, I returned because of another coolant issue. They replaced the same upper radiator hose under warranty, which left me questioning why it needed to be replaced again only several months later. In June 2026, I experienced a more serious coolant problem and returned to Master Auto Care because they had handled the previous repairs. This time, they said the leak involved a different area and replaced the engine oil-filter housing and cooler for approximately $1,849. While my vehicle was there, I also explained that I heard a noise from the front when coming to a stop. Firestone in Upland had inspected it days earlier, advised that it was not a brake issue, and advised it was related to the control arms. Firestone estimated approximately $1,633 to replace three control arms. At Oscar's request, I emailed him Firestone's estimate. He later quoted approximately $1,645 to replace all four control arms, which I approved. After picking up my BMW, I immediately heard the same front-end popping noise, even after paying $1,645.55 for all four control arms. The shop's final report stated that the popping noise was heard during road testing both before and after the repairs. However, no one told me that the noise remained before advising that my vehicle was ready for pickup. The report also stated that Master Auto Care had not performed an independent brake or suspension evaluation and had not diagnosed the actual source of the noise. I questioned why a proper diagnostic evaluation was not recommended before replacing all four control arms when the repair was authorized because of that specific concern. I also found the report contradictory. The shop documented that the original control arms were worn and that replacing them would restore suspension performance and steering stability, while also stating that no independent suspension evaluation had been performed. I emailed Oscar explaining my concerns and requested a complimentary brake and suspension evaluation, along with a short test drive so we could confirm the noise together. Unfortunately, he never responded. After paying thousands of dollars for multiple coolant repairs and four control arms, I was extremely disappointed by the unresolved noise, lack of communication, contradictory report, and failure to respond. Oscar was not present when my vehicle was returned to me. In fact, during each of my visits, Sandy was the person who delivered the vehicle. On this final visit, despite the shop's own report documenting that the noise remained, she did not mention it. The situation reminded me of someone hiding behind a curtain rather than speaking directly with a dissatisfied customer. I felt that Oscar avoided addressing the problem once it became clear that the repairs had not resolved my concern. Mistakes and unexpected repair outcomes can happen, but the professional and honorable response would have been to communicate openly, explain that the noise remained, and work with me to determine the cause. For these reasons, I found the entire experience deeply disappointing and would urge other customers to ask detailed questions, request a complete diagnosis before authorizing repairs, carefully review all reports, and proceed with caution when considering this shop. read more
