Do you know what they say? Communication is key! I had reached out to this company because I had used them in the past years, But I can't describe how poorly the communication is with this business owner. I reached out to him for a quote and availability. I agreed to his price and he never responded to the availability on multiple occasions. I finally reached out one last time telling them that I was moving forward with someone else and then he decides to respond quickly. Not sure how any business plans to generate more business or keep existing customer especially when they can't even communicate properly. Good luck sir I'll gladly spend my money elsewhere. read more

I needed a tree trimming service. I called MAS because our aged Jacaranda tree was looking wild and ugly in an unglamorous fashion. Our King Palms looked desolate. We also had big surface tree roots zig zagging disrespectfully far beyond the trim line. Spoiler alert, this is a 5-Star review! But,! I almost don't want to submit it because when the word gets out that Miguel and his crew are straight up Arborists and gifted artists, he's going to get blooming' busy. I also don't want to share the fact that the cost of all this neat, fast, symmetrical, arborist expertise was very reasonable. Please check out these pics and captions... Peace and tall tress to everybody, Mark C. read more

This guy is an absolute angel! My cat was stuck on a tall tree for 5 days straight and decided go seek help from yelp. He responded in a matter of seconds! He came geared up and made his way up. Mind you it was not an easy climb because the tree was riddled with branches! To make matter worse, my cat did not know him. He kept inching in closer, and just stayed at it until finally my cat walked toward him. It was such a relief to have my cat rescued! I was so grateful and was about to pay him but he refused! I insisted for at least lunch money. It took him a good hour to do the job, and in my opinion he deserved to be compensated. I like doing business with kind honest people and in the future, when I need help with my trees, definitely will hire him! No second thought! Thank you again Miguel and have a wonderful Xmas and fruitful 2023! read more

I contacted them via Yelp for a quote for removing a palm, they had the best price of the 6-7 quotes I got. They came out the same day to check it out and had it removed within 5 days. Only minor downside is that they charge separately to take away mulch from grinding the roots. They accept payment by Zelle which is very convenient. read more

Master Arbor Service - Palm they removed from my front yard - Tree Services Near Me

I was taking a bet with Master Arbor Service since there were no Yelp reviews to go off from but I am so glad I went with them! I probably sent quotes to 10 tree trimming/removal companies through Yelp and Master Arbor Service was the lowest and quickest to reply and come out for a visual consult. I wanted my Jacaranda tree removed and had some pretty big roots unleveling my front yard. During the visual consult, we agreed on a price, signed the contract (this is a legit certified contractor and licensed), and then the work started immediately! The full removal of the tree and roots was spread over two days and probably took 5ish hours total? It was split over two days because the stump grinder needed to be rented. I contacted my local waste company provider and got my two free yardwaste certificates to provide as well to reduce my overall cost. All in all I thought they did a great job for the value! read more

We were in search of a tree service to remove a very tall tree that was in between many wires, a skirt lift, stump removal from the ground, and a smaller tree removal. I reached out to multiple services to receive quotes, Miguel was the only one that noticed and asked about the wires around the tree. He was professional about his opinions and explained how he would bring the tree down. I'm addition, he is license and asked us to fill a contract. (Which is a plus - and made us feel comfortable to move forward with his services) When he came out, he worked carefully around the wirings to bring the tree down. Overall, we are very pleased with his service and will be contacting him again! read more

We used Miguel first to remove our huge fire stick tree that had started to lean into a shared wall and he did an absolutely immaculate job! We then had him return to remove a weird cactus tree and our bougainvillea that was unmanageable. Lastly, he just came to remove the stump to our loquat tree that had fallen over during one of the recent storms. On all three occasions that he's come, he's been great to work with (such a nice guy!) and does such an incredible job from start to finish. Would clearly very highly recommend Miguel! read more

Miguel came all the way to alpine to look at the job, he wasn't phased. Few days leter this guy came and with his bear hands literally chopped a 70ft pine with his hand! He asked "are you not entertained?!" I said i have 40 more. Chuck norris has nothing on miguel. The trees suicided faster than hilarys friends. Miguel was pretty hungry and decided to finely chip 200+ yards of branches and ate them. He then proceeded to motor boat every stump i had and nothing was left! My girlfriends boyfriend would be jealous! Moral of the story he did a great job and many days of work in 90° weather to get it done. read more

Miguel came out and gave an estimate, it was a very fair price. He and his crew were able to remove and haul away 3 giant trees and a smaller one! Very hard workers, and they swept up, etc. We will be calling Master Arbor in a couple months for some tree thinning. read more

Master Arbor Service - Before 'lacing' and after!!! LOVE it!! - Tree Services Near Me

I hired Master Arbor Service in Nov after searched the different companies and talked to Miguel several times. He gave me very good impression for his arboriculture knowledge, and his enthusiasm of the job. His company is very official with license and insurance, etc. and his quote was very competitive. I believed this was the one that I would trust and rely on. They came on time and worked so hard for several days for my full of old and new trees at front and backyard (the previous owner is a master gardener who planed a lot of things). Some trees were very tall, some were very old and broken by yearly harsh weather exposure. They got everything done well at the time frame as they promised. I have been so happy each time when I see the clean yards, and felt so grateful for found them and had their service. I definitely recommend them to my friends and coworkers and do my tree service with them again. My very best wishes to Miguel and his crews. I should post more pics here to share, but I only found two for my palm trees before and after Miguel's work. I just want to show the job was not easy and the scenery was the big difference. read more

Miguel was amazing. We met first when I needed palms pruned on my property. He provided reliable, safe and fast service at an extremely fair price point. While visiting my property, we discussed future plans, and not only did he give us some ideas on landscaping, he helped us design and build an entirely new space that is now useful and beautiful that my family absolutely loves. Miguel will definitely be working with us again in the future. read more

Miguel helped me dig out a monster tree root so I could repair an irrigation pipe. Will use again for future projects.

If a business can't show up on time they shouldn't expect to get the job. Was late. I waited around and after 30 minutes went on with my business. Other people may have time to sit around but I don't. Show up to work late enough times, you have no job. Same principle And no, you didn't wait two months for my response. It's been 2 weeks. read more

Unfortunately he wasn't able to meet my budget. Awesome guy I would recommend him to work for anybody who's looking to have their trees done. I would give him 10 out of 10. Just to let everyone know my budget was very low extremely low and he certainly tried everything he could to meet it. Again I would recommend them very nice young man read more

Absolutely fantastic. I got my drone stuck up in a 50+ foot tall palm tree at a park. Miguel responded to me at about 10pm and said "let's get it now"! He met me there around 11pm and got my drone down without a scratch. 100% great service, pleasant person, and I would recommend. read more

I was so happy to find Miguel when we searched the Yelp reviews. he was able to move my beloved mom's lemon tree from Coronado to my home in Eastlake. My mom loved her lemon tree and shared them with her friends often. Thank you Miguel for allowing me to continue the tradition and share lemons in honor of my mom. You were awesome to work with and I appreciate our sincerity and professionalism. As a 20 year veteran teacher I give you an A+! Thank You read more

Miguel removed our deceased grapefruit tree in a matter of hours for considerable cost less than the three other quotes we received. He and his helper cleaned the yard of all limbs and branches in a day. He had to rent a stump remover but that was done within a couple of days. He is a reliable and responsive individual. My husband and I highly recommend him. read more

Miguel with Master Arbor Service was exceptionally prompt and efficient. I requested a quote yesterday afternoon, and he replied right away, scheduling an appointment for this morning! He removed fifteen shrubs that were taking over the side of my house, and also trimmed up the dogwood tree that was growing in the middle. Miguel communicated everything clearly and explained the plan before starting work. He did an excellent job, and I'm very happy with the results! I will definitely hire them again for my next job. read more

Master Arbor is the best in SD! Miguel loves his job (check out his video of him swinging from the top of a palm tree like Tarzan). His love for his job shines through in his work, his work ethic and his overall great attitude. He's a genuinely good guy who works hard to make sure you're satisfied. He went the extra mile to give me advice about replacements and sent me some video from the nursery. Plus his bid to take down some overgrown Ficus beat three other companies by a couple hundred bucks! Miguel and his brother are great to work with. read more

I reached out to a few companies and I found this company to be the fastest to answer, the easiest to talk with, and actually had the best quote of the 3! They started immediately, were super friendly, and finished quickly. We've recently had trouble finding good and reliable workers and are a bit jaded so we had the bar set low, but that wasn't necessary. Master Arbor Service was amazing. Highly recommend. read more

This was a complete waste of my time and I hope others don't choose to go through the same. I communicated with Miguel for two to three weeks, as the tree trimming had to be delayed due to rainy weather. I had to initiate all the follow up communications and when the rescheduled day/time came, no one showed up to complete the work. I texted, I called and left messages, and got zero response. This is poor business practice to be completely ghosted. read more

Miguel provided an immediate online quote to trim 2 tall and overgrown palms based on a few pics I provided. His price was the best, and he was available to do the work as early as the next day. An absolute pleasant professional with exceptional experience who has earned my customer loyalty and highest recommendation! read more

Miguel, with his partner Maurillio, did a great job! Miguel climbed our six 40+ feet palms and cut, hacked, and cleaned away the years of growth! Moreover, the clean-up was excellent! If you are looking to have any landscaping done on your property or place of business, whatever you do, do not call on this company. Miguel Salazar was given a job of completely removing 10 trees, stump and all. First he showed up 2 hours late on the date of starting the job. Second he showed up with no gas for his equipment. He was the one that gave us the quote of the job. He started the job by dropping the six trees and allowing the branches to come down on our neighbors fence which he was supposed to repair. We had to leave but he was going to continue the job and we asked for a quote of four more trees which we accepted. His Job was to drop the trees, remove all 10 stumps, haul away the branches, cut up the logs and stack them in a certain area. All he did was drop the first 6 trees then the next day went to the other 4 trees and dropped them. Miguel was paid in full for the bottom 6 trees. His saw broke and needed to go purchase a new saw. We put our trust in this person to return and get the full job finished. The next day he called and asked for more money, but in the mean time the first 6 trees were not completed. He had only dropped the trees but had not removed the stumps or hauled any of the branches away, or cut the logs and stack them in the designated area. Nor did he fix the fence of the neighbor that he allowed the branches to come down on. He said he could fix it but did not. We received a call from him the next day to ask for more money up front. He was refused especially since the job of the 6 trees were not finished and he was fully paid on that part of the job. We have called several times all week on both of his numbers that were given to us and each call was ignored. I will never recommend this company to anyone. His license should be pulled. Very very poor business. Not to be trusted in any way shape or form. read more
