Chicken alfresco with broccolini added on

Decided to stop by for Saturday night dinner, the place was so busy and packed but we got seated pretty fast. We decided to sit outside, their patio is nicely lit and looks over what looks like a fountain. Service was a bit lackluster and took a while to get everything but the food was good enough that I would come back and give the service another try! The chicken Alfredo sauce was a bit watery but still had good flavor to it, the meatball sandwich was a great portion and it was delicious, the Caesar salad was huge and filled me right up! All in all, we will be back when we are back in town!

I stopped by Massa's on a road trip and was looking to try the famous toasted ravioli in the area. It's hard to describe the exact vibes of this place, but I was feeling a bit of mardi-gras energy. There was a happy hour special where one could get a half order, so I went with the half toasted ravioli and the half jalapeno mac n cheese balls. The toasted ravioli had a lot of breading to it. You could hardly tell any pasta was involved, but that doesn't mean the taste was any less! Just expect a drier mouth even with the (quite small) side of sauce they serve it with. The ravioli could do with a bit more filling as well. A whole lot of crunch, but not much else. Those jalapeno mac n cheese balls outshone the toasted ravioli for miles! I could taste jalapeno in these balls, not just the mere essence of spicy. Each ball was piping hot and had the perfect level of gooey cheese. I'd recommend this side. For the main dish, the buffalo chicken sandwich caught my eye. It came with a side of less-than-impressive fries, but the chicken more than made up for it. Never have I had a buffalo chicken that was so juicy and flavorful. It was served on a more baguette-type bread rather than the traditional bun. The sandwich could do with a pickle or two but was otherwise delicious. The waitress was excellent at stopping by to see if anything extra was needed and filling water. It was her second day apparently, and any confusion was made up with her friendliness!

Service quick on a lunch pick up order. They give u fresh authentic Italian food. Even the fresh loaf of bread with real butter was to die for. I went to the O'Fallon location which was a small spot but mouth watering spell in that place would make u come back for more.

Came here one random night to get some dinner and you have to look for this place to find it. I got a salad and pasta. The salad was just a regular basic salad nothing special. I also got the chicken Alfredo pasta. The chicken was a bit squishy but the Alfredo sauce was good. The staff was friendly and super fast so that was a bonus.

The Post Sports Bar and Grill - Small pizza with ground beef

The Post Sports Bar and Grill

The Post is still a solid place to eat and watch sports. It has a lively atmosphere and the service…read moreis typically quite good. Today's orders were all quite tasty: Chicken Club Salad with ranch dressing 16", extra cheese pizza with hand tossed crust and a French tip on a garlic parm roll with onion rings. We also had a side of fries with beer cheese, which is pretty darn good.

We don't have many sit down restaurants near us mostly fast food so when The Post was built we…read morereally wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, that is just not the case. We've really tried to like it by giving it numerous try's and ordering something different each time in hopes of finding our favorite menu item. We still haven't found one item that just "wows" us, but at least we've found something that we are okay with ordering if we have an invite to go there. Also, if you do make a visit to The Post, they only give you a printed menu with some of their food items. You have to open your phone and scan a QR code to get the whole menu which a lot of people don't even know and miss out on other options. I've also ran into issues with their reward system not tracking points accordingly if that's something you like to do too. So here's my take away on both the good and the bad from the food we've ordered thus far: 1) Pizza - not a fan of the crust it's too crispy almost burnt and the sauce is lacking flavor. 2) Tater Tots - great substitute for traditional French fries 3) Gyro wrap - I love Greek food, but they do not have this mastered. It's a poor excuse for a gyro. I really don't believe that it's lamb meat. Tasted more like old beef and not enough of the great Greek veggies. 4) Boneless Wings - tried both the honey hot and the carolina gold and both were good 5) Memphis Wings - probably my favorite menu item as long as the wings are good portion sizes. I've had them a couple times and each time the portions have varied. One time they were very skimpy with little to no meat on them which is not good with this type of wing because the seasoning is more like a dry rub so when there's little meat it's pretty sad cause the wings have dried out meat on them. When the portions are decent the flavor is amazing! 6) Post-it Cheesy Bread - it's basically cheesy bread, but the dough is just not for my family. We find it to be too "doughy". We tried it once and agreed we didn't need it again. 7) Chef Salad - Very large portion with lots of ingredients and do order the ranch dressing because it's homemade and easily one of my favorite salad dressings of any restaurant. 8) Side Salad - this salad is also a generous portion considering it's a side salad, but the ingredients on this salad could be considered a bit odd to some. It's made up of lettuce, croutons, raw onions, green peppers and tomatoes. It's unusual not to have cheese on a salad and even odder to have green peppers on it. I don't think the average person thinks of peppers on a side salad and was a bit surprised when it arrived. The next time I ordered it, I made sure to have them removed along with the onions so I basically had lettuce, tomatoes and croutons left. I asked if they could substitute cheese and was told it would be $1.50 more which seemed like a lot for a side salad especially when it's normally standard plus I was taking things off of it. 9) Grilled Tuna Sandwich- Absolutely disgusting. Worst thing I've ever eaten there. I took two bites total and let the rest go to the trash it was that bad. 10) Sloppy Johnny - their take on a sloppy Joe which my spouse loves to order. It's his first choice when we dine there. 11) Smashburger - two small burger patties smashed with some cheese so it's kind of hard to screw this one up. 12) Buffalo Chicken Wrap - very basic could've used more Buffalo sauce flavoring as I tasted more of the wrap and lettuce than anything. 13) Buffalo Chicken Sandwich - tasted like too much fryer oil and not enough Buffalo sauce. Almost tasted like it was a frozen patty with sauce pre added to it. 14) Chicken Cheesesteak - Another sandwich I just couldn't bring myself to finish it was so odd in flavor. It was mediocre at best. Also, way too much bread for the amount of chicken they give you. 15) Black Bean Cheese Quesadilla - this is something that has been both on and off point and make sure you read the ingredients thoroughly on the menu as it's not prepared the way the title reads. It's actually a black bean and corn salsa that's put into the quesadilla which can make it way too runny or even mushy if not cooked just right. They don't offer a traditional quesadilla so you'll have to customize this one and risk getting charged extra for all your changes.i wish they would add a basic cheese quesadilla to the menu. Well that's my review of the food now for the environment and staff. Most of the wait staff and bartenders are very kind and attentive. The only staff member that seems unhappy there is the night manager. He's always walking around looking like he hates his job. There's plenty of TV's to catch your favorite sports broadcast and they often have side bar giveaways going on. The outdoor patio setting is a nice option weather permitting. All in all, it's an okay place but the food definitely needs a step up.
