I honestly have been a member of Massage Heights for so long this is ridiculous to have to type out. I have a preferred therapist - Robyne- that I use at this location. Over the last 5 months, I have tried to book with her. In May, they called and told me she wasn't available due to a family emergency, I told them it was ok, and I would re-book once she was available. Done and totally fine. The second time I booked with Robyne was at the end of June. I booked online and came in to them telling me Robyne was still out and that Jessica would be my therapist. I was annoyed that they didn't tell me this ahead of time. The front desk person, Mona, tried to make it sound like I had made a mistake because Robyne has been out since the end of April. I didn't want to argue and she told me to trust that Jessica would take care of me. I agreed and went in for my massage. Jessica was not up to standard but I didn't complain and still tipped, but made a mental note that this seemed kind of shady on their part. Skip to August and I saw that Robyne would be available again starting September 7th. I excitedly booked, but remembering my last experience, I took a screenshot of my booking. Lo and behold, I came in today and another therapist came out to greet me. This time, I knew they were playing the bait and switch game and called them out on it. Mona not only didn't address the issue, but tried to convince me that this therapist would be better than Robyne. I tried to make her understand that my frustration wasn't in the therapist, it was in the fact they again did not give me the courtesy of at least informing me of the change in therapist ahead of time. She initially tried to gaslight me into thinking I made a mistake booking again. When I showed her the screenshot, she then said she's glad I took a screenshot but THEY didn't control the website... what? You guys are a franchise... if you don't control your own booking website, who does? Dont advertise a therapist who isn't available... it's that simple. We went back and forth for a bit but it got nowhere, so I just told them to cancel my appointment and I would eat the cost. I didn't care, but I would no longer be coming back to this location. At the end of the day, it wasn't the therapist, Mona, I'm sure Liberty is great. It's the fact that there was no integrity in your business practice. All it took was a phone call to say - "hey actually Robyne wont be available until next year, would you be okay with Liberty?" Mona even tried to say "well Robyne isn't gonna be back til next year, just to let you know" attitude at me, like that was the issue. Like if I were waiting for Robyne, I'm SOL. When I heard that, I knew she didn't understand the real issue and I wasn't going to argue with her anymore. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and I'm pretty much done with this location. Shame because this is the closest one to my house. I am posting a few photos to show you guys their shady practices. The first and second are of my booking of Robyne for sept 7, and their switch of me to Liberty. The third is of the fact that Robyne is still on their website for November - even though she's supposed to b unavailable until next year. An incredible lack of integrity and poor business practices. I scheduled a deep tissue massage. I wasn't sure who to use since it was my first time at MH. Irene was great! I had a terrible knot in my back under my shoulder blade that ran all the way to my shoulder. For a petite woman, she has a very good technique with applying firm pressure. I could have used 2 more hours to get the knot completely out, but she did a great job breaking it up so it could go away eventually. At the end of my massage, I got dressed and left the room. In my previous experiences with these types of establishments, I usually get a water and a goodbye from the massage therapist. For as friendly and seemingly professional as Irene seemed, I was surprised to not get this important closure of the appointment. I still tipped her over 20%, but I hope the manager sees this and makes it a teaching point. It's always important to drink a glass of water after a massage. Maybe this was an oversight on Irene's part. Thankfully, I had water in the car waiting for me. The interior was fairly clean. The receptionist was friendly. There is plenty of parking within steps of the entrance. They offer an introductory rate for new guests. My 60 minute deep tissue massage was $79.99. I received an email thanking me for booking my appointment. The electronic thank you is nice, but it's also nice to have the massage therapist exit you and again, don't forget that water! That water cost your business a star. read more

Had an expired membership with multiple credits for massages not taken. Last time I was in cancelled membership and was told I could still access the paid massages. Went in today, had a massage and checked out without checking my bill assuming I would be accessing my stored massages. Got home to a $180 charge on my cc for what should have been a $20 tip charge due to my old credits. when I called to enquirer I was told "you had to access your credits in 90 days." No one bothered to mention this either when I booked or checked out and they clearly had a record of my credits and old membership. way too many places to get an honest massage in Houston without games. At the very least they could have made me aware of the increased charge knowing the history. would not recommend them. read more

Bert definitely has the touch of healing. I do weight lifting weekly. Plus I'm a home health pediatric nurse, so my lower back and shoulders are always tight. I booked a 90-min deep tissue massage, and Bert was able to loosen up my knots and stretched my lower back, neck and shoulders toward the end. Bert will definitely be my biweekly masseur. read more

Heather is amazing at deep tissue or relaxation and Terrance is great for sports massage and stretching sessions. Tipa and Mone do table thai massage, which if you've never tried, you should!! My therapist was pleasant and skilled but began to cough a chest-y cough toward the end of the session. I asked her 3 times if she was ill or contagious. She finally assured me she only had chest congestion (a sign of illness). When I told the staff, they told me it wasn't a problem because she wore a mask to prevent the spread of illness. When I asked why she was here if ill, the guy looked at me like I was an idiot and said "everyone has to work." So be prepared for the possibility of being in a small room with a sick person and no apology. addendum: After contacting the owner, one of the employees came back and offered me a discount on my next visit. I explained I didn't want to come back because I can't trust them. He said that because the therapist signed the waiver stating she didn't have COVID, there was no problem. I asked if she had tested negative for COVID and he said that was between her and the owner. So, again, basically you may end up with a sick therapist working on you without your consent/knowledge. read more

I'm gonna do full disclosure here. I really needed a quick massage before a surgery because I have chronic back pain. My only choice was to get it done after work. I got stuck in traffic and was going to be 15 min late. I called to give them a heads up and they told me "that time will be deducted from my massage". I didn't like how there's not a grace period, I truly was late for forces out of my control. So I said to the receptionist while on the phone "I'm not very happy about that but I'll still come in". Note that even doctors offices give a 10-15 min grace period. I arrived and had every intention to enjoy my massage. I was very cordial and was not upset. I had to go to the bathroom first. When I came out of the bathroom, I asked the receptionist (who I saw in the hallway) "I'm not sure which room to go to"... then a lady farther down the hallway butted in and with a full on bad attitude and a raised voice said "She didn't tell you what room because I'm waiting here for you, your room is here". At this point the hall was so dark i couldn't see the face of this person that spoke to me had no idea who she was. I said ok, walked into the room, and the lady who yelled that down the hallway ended up being the masseuse. I was immediately uncomfortable because the lady clearly had a bad attitude that made me very uncomfortable I mean this is supposed to be for relaxation. So I said I'm uncomfortable with this and asked to speak to a manager. They said a manager wasn't there I said can you have them reach out to me they said yes. The masseuse actually tried to ask me why I was uncomfortable I told her it was her attitude to which till she replied "I didn't have an attitude you're just upset about not being on time". Make of that what you will. Why would I come in if I was upset? That's just weird. On the contrary, she was clearly upset at me. But that's the corporations policy no refunds or grace period so I understood it's not their fault. Manager never reached out. I wasn't interested in complaining I was interested in refund or a reschedule, but they don't do that here. I would have been happy with the 30 min massage which is why I showed up. I couldn't reach out the day they told me to call the manager because I was literally in surgery. I then woke up from surgery with back pain so bad I couldn't breathe. So. This place has unprofessional massage therapists and receptionists that simply don't know or care about the relaxation of their customers. I lost $80 because the masseuse had a bad attitude so really she was still paid and I was at a loss physically and financially. No refund. How disappointing. I would never go to any of these franchises again due to this policy and the unprofessionalism. It's worth it to pay the extra to go to fiori or trellis read more

I got massaged by one of the male masseurs. I wanted a soft massage and he did that. But for a few days after, my entire body was in pain. This might not be their fault but I won't be coming back. I have always gone and had the front desk guy Gary who is super nice. Scheduling hasn't been a problem. The therapists are very nice and I have a membership and haven't had any issues. My only gripe is I wish there was a way to fill out your credit card gratuity by paper and signature rather than telling the receptionist and having him punch it in the computer. Very pleased with my first time visit at this location. Front desk reception was very nice, pleasant and made sure that I got through the checkin process quickly, as I arrived very closed to my appointment time. I had an excellent relaxation massage with Terrence. I opted for the dry brush elevation, which I enjoyed and will try again. My visit was after masking mandates were lifted in Texas, but everyone here still wore masks and other PPE, which I appreciate very much and makes me feel safe and confident for future visits. A few weeks ago I was in desperate need for a massage and to relax due to my work schedule. I decided to try a massage at Massage Heights Town and Country and was greeted by Jared. Very nice young man with superb customer service experience. My therapist Terrance was the best. He was able to work my stress points I didn't even realize were stressors.... I went in with so much pain and unable to sleep most nights. After my massage, I was relaxed and got several nights of actual restful sleep and woke refreshed. There are some good masseuses here, and had generally been a good experience for me prior to getting a membership. I haven't been able to use the majority of the monthly massages that I've paid for, but that's not my complaint, after all that's what I signed up for. What's ridiculous is that if your life gets busy, you move away, etc. after signing up for a membership, they require to show up at the location to cancel. Yes, in 2022, when you can buy a house or car, sight unseen over the internet, you have to show up in person to fill out a piece of paper to cancel your massage membership. Would love to give them five stars because had wonderful experiences there for sometime but recently it has been difficult to get appointments and when I did get an appointment they canceled on me at the last second with some baloney excuse that the pipes were broken or some thing like that, but yet they were open two hours later. I have canceled my membership and take my business elsewhere I suggest you do the same. There's no need to be a part of something that you do not get treated well. Additionally a Tiffany called me up to tell me that I need to call a different store in order to cancel my membership and basically just hung up on me very rude and obnoxious. Always so friendly. The front desk staff is always super helpful and very welcoming. From the minute you walk in you get a relaxed feeling and the receptionist plays a huge part in that! They always call ahead to confirm appointments which is nice cause if you book it early sometimes you forget. And I've never really had an issue getting a same day appointment on a week day. But I'm gonna have to start calling early now cause I have to have Anthony! I have terrible terrible back pain and constantly live with a 4/5 and on a tough day it's a 7/8. I started the monthly massage program cause I found a therapist in Dallas that I loved but he quit 2 weeks after I joined. I've spent the last 7 months looking for someone in Houston and I finally found Anthony! I walked out feeling painless today, it's a rarity I get to feel completely pain free. So when a therapist can do that for me, you know they must be great! read more

I rearranged my schedule to book a massage only to get a call that morning to have it canceled due to their poor scheduling system. They were rude and unprofessional and would offer no discount for me having to rebook my massage. After my massage I asked for water but was told they have no water. This place was a little hide away from every day busy life. I found Massage Heights online and found they had good ratings. Gary who called me within minutes from me leaving a message when I initially called, was very professional and nice over the phone. He explained their different types of massages, the intro rate for being a first time goer and helpful giving me directions to the location. I was very excited to book a couples massage for my husband and I. Upon arrival we were greeted by the front desk young lady and she was also very upbeat and professional. She went over the different aromas for our aroma therapy and carried nice conversation while still answering the calls that came in and booking other appointments. My husband and I got to meet Caitlin and Jennifer who gave us our massages, and they were amazing! Our room was very clean, nice ambiance and the music wasn't too loud, it was great, only thing was we could periodically hear the business next door making some noise every once in a while. But other than, the 60 min massages were relaxing and we even carried on fun conversation every once in a while. Caitlin was very attentive to asking how pressure was and if anything hurt, and Jennifer did amazing helping with the knots my husband had on his back and giving him the deep tissue massage we were looking for. Admittedly, this is not about an actual massage but instead more about the customer service. So, for the past year or so I periodically get e-mails from this location that thank me for my visit at this specific location, or how they've missed me since it's been so long, and even a happy birthday with a 'birthday gift' included (not on my actual birthday). However, I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE! Like, EVER. Getting these regular e-mails started to raise an alarm to me in regards to issues like identity theft or what-not. So, I decided I had better call and try to find out what's going on here. No idea who answered the phone but after I explained the situation briefly, the rep on the phone noncommittally says, "Well, did you unsubscribe?' I explain I've never subscribed, I've never been there, & that the nature of the e-mails are more pointed, personal AS IF I'VE BEEN THERE before since, as I already stated to her, the emails are thanking me for my visits! Then she says she just doesn't know because there are soooo many locations! Well, as I (AGAIN) explained to her, these e-mails are specifically from the Town & Country location. Well, she'll run my name through and see. Nothing comes up. I ask can you do this by email. She says sorry, no. OK, I understand you may not have the most sophisticated customer search engine at your disposal, but if you are the one answering phones and basically the first line of an IMPRESSION for a potential customer, you would try to work harder to have that impression be more favorable. Here I am, an alarmed possible customer who tells you that she's receiving thank you emails for visits to your location that has never taken place by her and you act and sound like I am boring you with such tedious issues. Pardon me while I hope you never become a victim of identity theft. I love Massage Heights Town and Country. My schedule is tricky and they can usually get me in to see my favorites, Consuela and Tippa, on short notice. They are both strong and will adjust pressure to meet your needs. I hv also heard Fred is excellent and my daughter who is a ballet dancer likes Amber as well. The owner/manager is also lovely. The establishment is very clean. Additionally, it's quiet and relaxing. My daughter and I have been members for a few years and have never had a bad experience. My wife got me a gift card and I finally used it here and was booked with a therapist named Amber. I normally get massages with my chiropractor but I will now be coming back to see Amber regularly! She was very knowledgable and had a lot of experience. I can finally lift my arms again! Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean.
