Difficultyi find but great space and awesome ambiance. Got a last minute deal for the fiancé. Loved it!

Love this place! I always have the best massages from Ruby. She really listens to what you want her to focus on. Highly recommend and the new office is SO cute! read more

Amazing place! I've been going here for a few years and their massages are unique. It's done with their feet. They have beans going across the ceiling for the masseuse to hold on to and pressure is applied. (Don't worry- they have soft not smelly feet). The atmosphere is completely relaxing and they are so nice! They've moved to the second floor! read more

Went to massage evolved with wifey for valentines day and we were happy with the service we received. There was some initial confusion over the confirmation of the appointment, but owner was very responsive. The massage was great. One recommendation is during the winter, the massage room ran a little colder than desired. maybe because it was a couples massage and they needed to rearrange the room, but was a little drafty. The gave out fizzy water and tea, with a rose and chocolates for my gf which was a nice (although paid for) service included. read more

We had a couples massage. It started off with a glass of champagne. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Monica and Justin were amazing and just so nice. My husband and I felt so relaxed after. Pressure was perfect and they listened to what we wanted. I would highly recommend massage evolved. Decor was so romantic. We live in Indiana but our next trip in to the city, we will book another massage! read more

I had a massage with Stephanie. What an amazing hour that was. I was so sore and tight and her magical hands worked over my neck, shoulders, back and arms with so much energy and enthusiasm.when I left so felt like a million bucks. I'll have to find a reason to go back to Chicago just to get another appointment with Stephanie. read more

I would take away the one star but I must put something to post! NEVER give this business your money! They literally steal money and discriminate. I had a 4:30 appointment. I showed up at 4:05 and tried to get buzzed in from the outside for over 20 minutes. I kept buzzing the spa and calling to no answers. Keep in mind to book online you must pre pay. Had I not have already paid I would have left. So after 20 minutes trying to get in without success someone else left the building so I was able to get upstairs. As I get there they have a glass door to the studio that is also locked? I'm wondering if there was an emergency and they had to close early? As I look through the windows I see lit candles and shoes at the door( they make you remove them and wear their slippers upon entry.) So I figure I will sit outside the door and wait. Maybe they took a break and will come let me in at 4:30. Nope. At this point yes I have reached irritated after spending over 30 minutes trying to get in to get a relaxing massage. So far not relaxed at all! After 4:30 comes I start a solid long steady knock. At 4:33 an employee comes out and said excuse me, giving me attitude while talking through the door. I said I've been knocking and trying to get in for over half an hour ( yes I was early as they tell you to please arrive 15 minutes early in the email confirmation) that would mean someone should been expecting me 18 minutes ago and she's giving me attitude for knocking? Hmm ... she said I don't think I want to let you in ( I guess because I was knocking) I said this is ridiculous may I speak to a manager. You have my money and I'm locked out talking g to you through a door? She responded there wasn't a manager there. Well obviously! She said I can refund you. I said no actually I'd still like to get my massage are you the masseuse if so yes you can refund me. She stated she wasn't the masseuse and that she wasn't letting me in. So she proceeds to call someone I'm assuming a manager and complain about me. I say fine just refund me. She won't answer me and then 2 clients came out of the back to pay and she said " sorry we cant let you out that way because this crazy white lady is out there, you will have to go out the back". Umm why am I crazy and what does my race have to do with it? So to wrap this up. I have yet to be refunded. The employee retreated to the back and never let me in. I found the owners name on the website. Ruby Greenberg it also lists her phone number. I left a voicemail and no one has reached out or reimbursed me. Whoever is in charge is clearly very unprofessional. I do manage people for a living and I would have called this client immediately after being treated like garbage, not let in, called names and still hasn't been refunded! I have never see something so unprofessional in my life! There is nothing they can do to make this ok and I hope everyone that reads this review will never step foot in such a poorly run business! read more

I came in Friday afternoon with almost zero range of motion in my shoulder. It was my first time here so I wasn't sure what to expect. Very nice atmosphere, friendly front desk and my therapist Ariel was great. It's two days later and I have zero pain and full range of motion in my shoulder. I will definitely be back! Thanks Ariel read more

Look through the 60 some reviews for massage evolved....almost eqch and every one stellar..I have been going there for years....Ruby and her staff are the epitome of professionalism.... Not sure what the story is with Steve F but I'm sure there is one. There is a reason ME is fast becoming the premier spa in Chicago!! read more

I'm about three hours removed from the greatest, deepest, most invigorating massage I have ever had. Even though I had maybe four hours of sleep the night before, after my massage was over I walked out of Massage Evolved feeling alert and energized. I can't say enough about Ruby. Aside from displaying a real passion and dedication to her work, I really, truly appreciate how she made sure I got the customized massage I really wanted. She's fantastic and you will notice it from the very beginning of your session with her. I also highly recommend Ingrid, who I've seen on a few occasions, as she is a very talented and knowledgeable therapist herself. Overall this place is very warm and inviting. If you have some kind of ache, pain or just need a tune up for your body, please contact Ruby and her team. You won't regret it. read more

The second you walk in to this calm, zen space, you become relaxed and have a sense that whatever service you are going to receive will be beneficial to your mind, body, and spirit. Daniel is welcoming and knows how to treat his guests. He shows sincere appreciation for your business. Julia gave me a 90-minute deep-tissue massage, her specialty, and transported me to a safe resting and healing space for my body. I could do nothing but give her a big hug to show my gratitude. The price point was within industry standards and was well worth it. I definitely feel I got my monies worth knowing how other deep-tissue massages are with the same price. I will come here every time I visit Chicago! read more

Hands down, best massage I've had in years. The ashiatsu / deep tissue combo is def the way to go. Ingrid was awesome; very professional and super friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Great customer service, I get a wax here- great price, they take good care of you, and Martha is wonderful! I can't wait to try out the other services they provide! read more

Got a facial from Martha and she was great! She was very gentle and my 60 minute facial included an exfoliating gently scrub, extractions, calming and hydrating mask and an arm and neck/shoulder massage, which was so amazing! I left there feeling great and my face has been glowing ever since! I highly recommend and will defiantly be going back and telling my social circle of Massage Evolved :) read more

I can see why this place has a 5 star rating. Had an all around positive experience here and it was for a short 20 minute seated massage. They allowed me to have a regular room and use the normal massage table because I needed to remove my shirt for the massage but it seemed it's always an option to convert your chair massage to table. So much more comfortable but you still get the less expensive and shorter chair massage if you like. I'll definitely come back for a full hour massage with Ruby! Cozy, clean, very welcoming environment as well! read more

Nikki is phenomenal! I do not leave reviews often and it is because I leave other establishments not all that satisfied. I traveled to CHI for my job and I am working through some back spasm/tightness issues and Nikki was the best communicator for a massage therapist I have ever had. She is also one of the best therapists I have ever had work on my back. I am sad I don't live here.... I will totally be back every time I am in CHI. I should also mention their ambience is relaxing, quiet and welcoming. You will not be disappointed at all! read more

I cannot say enough about Ruby, her technique or her facility. Calm and relaxed definitely start with Ruby, very laid back and down to earth. I get an Ashiatsu Massage and Reiki to help with my depression on a consistent basis, as well as crystal energy healing . My need is for bodily stress and tension, I do the Reike for mind relief and lightening of my spirit. Sessions with Ruby are beyond a pampering or luxury, they are truly a spiritual release and experience. read more

Omg. Ruby gave me one of the top 3 massages I've ever had here. And I'm an aficionado. Pricey but worth it.

We came here for a first time on a Friday after a long and somewhat stressful week of office work. Intrigued by the potential deep pressure benefits of Ashiatsu, I opted for that and my wife went with Swedish. The location of the studio is very convenient and the space itself is very quaint, calm, and unpretentious. We we're greeted kindly at the front desk, filled out some paper work, and quickly got to our rooms. My massage was with Ruby and it was awesome. She started with some nice Swedish techniques and essential oils before going into Ashiatsu. She was very methodical, relieving tension from the top half of my body and "out" towards my lower limbs. The pressure was just right and the heels of the feet offered a more blunted penetration versus the more piercing hands and elbows in traditional deep tissue massage. It was clear Ruby knew what she was doing, mixing all techniques where relevant. Im sure all the therapists are great but I would ask for Ruby again. My wife had a Swedish massage with Stephany and said it too was excellent. I would definitely recommend Massage Evolved and I hope this review encourages regular clients to come out and support this little stop on Clinton St. Thank you Ruby and team! :D read more

I took too long to write this. I had a massage Valentine's day with Juliet. It was hands down the best massage I've had in 15 years of receiving massages. She was fabulous. The space is small, but was very inviting. The table is very large and comfortable for those who are plus sized. Juliet delivered for the full 90 minutes, in fact I think she went a few minutes over. I was in a lot of pain and she really made it a lot better. She is a true guru of massage. read more

I had an Ashiatsu massage with Stephany Floyd, OOOH my was it wonderful. She addressed my worst places, shoulders and neck and through careful application of pressure released some chronic tension held in these areas. The space is lovely and relaxing as well, but ask for Stephany, she will do a great job for you. I left feeling relaxed and energized. read more

As a weekend warrior/triathlete approaching 40 I frequently use massage to stay healthy. As a seasoned massage receiver I'll honesty say that Yuri at Massage Evolved has now performed two of the best massages I've ever had. Her work on my back was excellent, and her work on my IT bands, a big problem area, was outstanding. I'll be a regular and I'd recommend an hour with Yuri to anyone. read more

I had a neck and back injury from weightlifting and Susanna completely fixed me! She spent an hour meticulously getting my knots out. She understands the human body well and how all the muscles connect so she was able to pinpoint all my knots one by one (knots I didnt even know existed!!!) I will be coming every month for a deep tissue massage!!!!! read more

Absolutely fantastic work. First time customer (in town for the week from Manhattan) and I'm thrilled to have a new go-to studio for a sports massage when I'm traveling. Looking forward to booking my next appointment! read more

The vibe you get from the website is very much what you feel in person: calm, serene, peaceful, and surprisingly enlightening if you care to speak with any of the massage therapists. Well worth a visit to see for yourself why this place gets nothing but 5 stars! read more

Had prenatal massage with Susana. I was constantly punched very deeply in sensitive and not sensitive areas and told her many times to be more gentle as the massage was pretty intense and had to remind her few times to not press on my sides as it could hurt the baby. I even told her to stay away from my feet's as certain points can cause preterm labor and she still insisted that she knows what she's doing and continued to press hard and deep areas under my foot that are hurting so bad now making it harder to walk for me. I was so worried at that point I wish I had left. All I was hearing was my muscles are tight and that she is not pressing too hard :(( . I was also asked to lay on my back even though I disagreed and was not comfortable doing so...why to insist too much and being so ignorant when I am clearly uncomfortable?? Is massage Evolved responsible if I they cause me injury on purpose? Very unhappy about my experience and the lady clearly didn't know what she is doing given that she was asked to do prenatal massage. I will not recommend this place to any pregnant friend ever. I feel not only I have wasted 110$ but also I have put myself and my baby at danger of injury by taking chances going to this place. read more

The Ashiatsu was amazing! Highly recommended.

We had great service and it was a beautiful ambiance. Fully recommend for a full body, couples massage. The only thing that was confusing is some of the details say this is located in ste 102 when its actually ste 205 so make sure you get on that elevator to find it! read more

The entire staff has a wealth of experience. The spa offers different types of massages as well as energy healings. I went for an issue with my back and neck which was completely reversed back to normal in under an hour. I highly recommend the spa - you can't go wrong with any of the therapists!! The spa also has a relaxing atmosphere which makes you forget you are in downtown Chicago in the middle of a busy work week!! read more

I am nervous to leave this review because I don't want the word to get out about my hidden gem in the West Loop, but I want the brownie points a positive review might get me so here goes.....THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I stumbled upon this place one day while I was out and about, and it is by far my favorite. Every time I am here, I leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and 1000x better than before I came. It is my secret fix to cure all that ails me. Stephany, Nickie, Lauren & Hayley are all fantastic! Don't believe me? Then do what I do, and get your self a 2 hour Evolved Signature Massage and see for yourself. Have an extra hour on your hands, then have them perform some energy healing on you and tell me you don't leave there feeling like a million bucks. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance and mood help melt the stress away and you realize this is not your average massage envy or hand & stone. Although if they offered monthly memberships to this place, I would certainly sign myself up. I can't say enough good things about this place; you have to try it out for yourself. read more

Had my first visit with Hayley and all I can say is that my upper back and neck pain completely went away after my session! So glad I came here and will definitely be back soon. Thank you Hayley and Massage Evolved! read more

Thank God I found Massage Evolved and had the pleasure of having Hayley! I have had quite a few massages in my life, and it seems as if when I leave I feel like I need to get a massage again an hour later. This is not the case with Hayley.
