9/3/26 Parking 5/5 Arrived at 2:45 for a pre-treatment check in. The large shared parking in the Superstition Gateway West mall was busy but found a space close. First time Appointment 5/5 I made an appointment over the phone a few days prior. That call helped me focus on visit goals and treatments. I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue massage with their most experienced therapist for my goals. Concierge, Jess 10/5 I arrived at the check-in counter and was welcomed by Jess a very pleasant young lady with amazing interpersonal skills, this is rare Kudos! She's the perfect first impressions employee every business needs. After her intake interview she guided me to their inside waiting room. This was the beginning of the experience, cozy, subdued lighting, wall colors and nicely decorated. It really was a great visual exhale. Therapists exceptional 10/5 In a few minutes my therapist Sally arrived. She was already familiar with my intake information and spent time asking questions focused on my goals, problem areas I listed. She talked about her approach to addressing my needs, discussed other add ons like cupping, oils etc. we replaced my ice hot like upgrade to post hot towel CBD cream. She left the room so I could get ready and the treatment began. Mussel warm ups, light stretching leading into her deep heavy pressure massage. Key areas addressed was my necks tightness and range of motion, shoulder tightness, back, lower right L4/5/SI, leg stretches that really highlighted my range needs work. As I'm writing this review I'm feeling sore which is expected. Sally knows her modalities and gave me a great deep tissue start. Thank you Sally I look forward to your help working out the stress, kinks and proper stretching. The head massage was delicious! Jess- I love to see young people with such a great spirit and calm during conversation. Your engagement was impressive. Massage Envy I hope you note this your front counter has a diamond greeting clients! Don't become the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz my friends, Massage Envy-SYOY read more

This is my first time at Massage Envy. When you first arrive, you are greeted by the front desk associate they bring you a small glass of water and update any medical history with you. The business is very clean and modern. Then you were taken back to a resilience room where you are greeted by your massage therapist and introduce to by the front desk associate which was very professional. My Massage was with Missy. It was a deep tissue absolutely amazing. She is the FIRST massage therapist that literally fixed my jaw after 3 years! I also had kinesiology tape applied to my leg. I was feeling extremely refreshed and excited about my next appointment. Upon checking out, I was sat down again with the front desk associate and educated on tape and the rockstar liquid they placed underneath it. I was given the option to purchase either. I kindly declined, then I was offered a one year membership, which I kindly decline then I was offered a six month membership, which I kindly decline then I was offered to pay upfront for a six month membership, which I kindly decline then I was asked what the issue was about committing to a membership. So as you can see the Massage that I went in for was excellent. They used car salesman technique at the end was less than relaxing, was a major turn off, and I will be back to see her possibly in the future. However just a little advice if somebody declined something once or twice get the hint! read more

I have been a customer for more than 16 years and all I can say is I don't know what happened to this location but I'm very disappointed with them read more

Linda is the BEST for facials! I have a membership but wasn't going very much as I hadn't had very good experiences with massages (at another location) and decided to try the facials here. I got lucky booking with Linda and now I go see her as often as possible! Not only has my skin improved like crazy but she really listens and helps address any concerns. I'm also a few months postpartum and she's helped make sure all treatments are safe for nursing my baby I wasn't sure if I'd ever use all the credits I'd accrued after not going while pregnant but I'm so happy to have found someone who is exceptional at their craft The front desk is also sooo much better at this location than other locations I've been too, friendly and welcoming every time Highly recommend! read more

My massage girl just took it upon her self to end my session early . Massages are expensive and I'm sitting here in shock waiting for my husband to get out of his appointment. The girl even noticed at the front desk. How do you even approach something like this . I am super annoyed now so much for being relaxed after . she used her elbows on me the whole time it was the most awkward massage I've ever had. read more

I've been a massage envy since 2015, and love this location. Linda was the first therapist that had me keep coming back as she helped tremendously with pain, and was a delight to spark up a conversation with. Over the last couple of years, I had not seen Linda as often or at all most recently. Have no fear! Plenty of amazing other specialists! Lester was my therapist today, and who I try to book with. He's great at asking if the pressure is too much as I do firm to deep to get out the problem areas in my shoulders and back where I store my most tension. We have some great conversations, and I'm always impressed he remembers our conversations from visit to visit. Heck, he will ask if I've been to Disneyland recently. It's that personal touch that makes you overlook anything that may lessen a 5 star review. On that note... I do have one thing that I noticed, and did bring up with front staff. It was quite dusty underneath the table. I thought I was imagining it at first, but did check after the massage to see if it was my eyes. I'm probably one of the few that keeps their eyes open for a good portion of the massage. It's honestly the first time in 8 years of frequenting this specific location that I've noticed anything impacting the ambiance/cleanliness. The therapists and front staff have been so amazing that it can't touch leaving a 5-Star! Thanks for all you do & I will see you soon! read more

The front staff is very friendly and Sally is absolutely amazing. She listens to everything I say and checks in about pressure multiple times. She can adjust pressure on the fly and even said she would make a note of what I said. She's fantastic. read more

This location is so hit and miss. Of the last six sessions, between my husband and I, we have been cancelled on four times! One time I was even at the studio and I had to go up and ask what the deal was only to be told the therapist wasn't coming. The management does try and make it right by comp'ing an extra 30min and I get things happen, but my appointments are cancelled more than actually kept. It's a big deal to get a sitter and plan a massage over a week in advance to be called 2 hours beforehand because someone is leaving sick. I can't believe they keep emailing and texting me about all my stacked up sessions ($300 worth), but I can't use them- forget the facial appointments and get some massage rooms/employees so this stops happening! I asked about cancelling and I'd only have 2 months to use my sessions (that I fully paid for!) so now I'm just going to suspend and try to get them all in within 6 months and then cancel- what a silly game. read more

The massage was wonderful. Super nice people. The only down fall is the high pressure to join and get a membership. It was to overwhelming. To pushy and uncomfortable. Im not sure I would ever go back. read more

Terrible manager. Rude and constantly doesnt let you speak. Doesnt care about customer satisfaction at all. Not helpful at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Bought a package deal every time I tried to use it, they make it very difficult. I called to make an appointment the representative stated there were 4 different openings. Once I told her I had a credit she put me in hold then told me the appointments were no longer available. This isn't the first time this has happened. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I called to make an appt and the representative provided me with different available times. Once I informed her I had a credit she put me on hold came back and stated the times are no longer available. Even with different massage therapists. This is not the first time i have experienced this when trying to use my pre-paid holiday package. OnceI use this last credit I will never ever go back. read more

I wish I could leave negative stars. the manager was highly disrespectful and rude when I came in and was even cussing, my massage was probably the worst massage I've had in my entire life. as the other reviews say the massages are horrible and management is disgustingly disrespectful. Would not recommend going here to anyone read more

This review is for Katie the front desk receptionist. What an absolute sweetheart. She went out of her way to get to know me and ask how my day went. Top notch customer service. read more

I would rate my experience a zero I made multiple appointments back in November or December February appointment got canceled. I believe the therapist was sick which I understand then come March a month later I had appointment on the same number day five and they decide to cancel February 5 and March 5. I called to talk to the manager who was very blunt and on the same day they had a different therapist, but only 90 minute sessions and they admitted that they canceled it by mistake. They only had 90 minute sessions with other therapist on the day I wanted and I asked if they could pay the difference for their mistake for a long time. Customer manager says well you don't do that. She wouldn't tell me whether that was a corporate rule or the franchise owner. She offered another day with my therapist, but it was 6 o'clock at night and I already had evening plans that night, but she was very blunt about notcomplementing the 30 minutes and I read the review from a month ago where they gave 30 minute comp. Thanks for being a long time customer I'm a senior and I need my massages but this is two months in a row. I was not able to I would not recommend this location anymore, especially with the attitude of this manager, this location used to have very good staff not now when I made the appointment last year I've made 4-5 months to get past snowbirds read more

This location is the best! From front desk to massage therapist to estheticians, I'm always given the best service and treatments. Their membership is affordable given the field they're in, not to mention the wide variety of services they offer. Also, it's always so clean and relaxing in there. This is my go to location! read more

My Mom & I were treated to a spa day for a Mother's Day treat from my daughter. I made an appointment for facials, although I would've rather had a nice massage, but due to breast cancer that spread to the lymph nodes I can only do a specialized lymphatic massage. I was extremely surprised that they have oncology lymphatic masseuses. I decided to keep my facial appointment & I was happy that I did. The esthetician immediately explained what products she was going to use, along with what the products were made of & the advantage of them. In addition, she put me at ease...it was heavenly! The establishment is extremely clean, relaxing & warm to the mental senses. The front desk staff couldn't be nicer or more professional. Kudos to management for having a great staff. read more

I was taken care of and made to feel like a true king after I was completed. Michelle is one seriously amazing massage therapist! I cannot go on enough about how great I feel after that massage. She has a heart of gold and has tremendous strength and skill. Just a truly amazing healing overall energy that is super invigorating. 10 out of 10 stars for this amazing woman and person super kind sweetheart kindness in the eyes and softness in the soul and beauty in the spirit read more

The membership perks have been less then pleasant. Had several issues with billing and rollover credits. Will not be going back to this location. They have cancelled several appointments on me. It is almost impossible to see a masseuse so unless you enjoy facials the membership is not worth it. The staff is not in the same page and could care less if you continue to use there services read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would. I just had the worst massage I've ever had to the point I feel more tense and stressed than when I went in for the massage. The pressure was so hard and after asking 3 times for them to lighten up, nothing changed. I feel certain that her entire bottle of oil was used and while using it was dropped on the bed so it hit my leg every time she used it. I took a long shower and still feel oily. There was so much wrong with this massage - I asked my friend who has been a massage therapist for years his opinion... and much of what I experienced wasn't normal from a professional massage therapist. Never will I go back here again. read more

I am pretty baffled by the way the organization steals from their customers. I wanted to cancel my account with them because I just don't have the free time to go into the clinic. I didn't want a refund, I just wanted them to stop charging me money and to let me use the 8 credits I had on my account...roughly $500 and they said if I cancel I have 60 days to use my credits or they just keep my money and take them away! How is it impossible to stop charging me money, yet let me use the money I've given you already? I don't have the time for this luxury...so their response is to use what I can in the short amount of time allotted to me and steal the rest? read more

I had a knot in my back pinching a nerve that was so painful I could barely walk. Therefore, I wanted to try a massage for pain relief. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in booking an appointment for me that same morning. Anthony was my therapist and was excellent in helping to relax and release my right muscles. He was very professional and knowledgeable. It was my first time so the introductory pricing was a happy ending. I would highly recommend this Massage Envy location to anyone seeking pain relief or relaxation alike. read more

My wife and I enjoy a couple spots. We have been paying for over 2 years and can never get an appointment because they book out 4-6 weeks. It's ridiculous! We recommend Elements Massage,, they only need 24 hours notice. Now we can't even get a single massage, even after giving so much money over the years. Rip off! Avoid at all cost! On top of it, they're very rude! read more

This place was great and very welcoming. Boyfriend and I had a 90 minutes massage and they did a great job. It was nice that we were able to get it done in the same room. I am so disappointing in the customer service! The back story - my Mom died in June 2019 and had 8 sessions left of her membership. My Dad went in shortly after her death and after some conversation they said it could be transferred to me. Well, my Mom had just died, I wasn't doing well, so I didn't go in right away. I didn't go in until end of December to talk to them because I just couldn't. Have you lost a Mom? It's AWFUL! When I went in they told me I only had until the end of January to use all 8 sessions. Well, that wasn't going to happen in 4 weeks. They told me the Manager had already extended it and there was nothing they could do. I called the corporate office to try to get an extension. Only until like March, so I could even split these with someone. After MULTIPLE messages were left for both Amber and Christine, I guess I finally have to give up. They have not been lost, since it's February and NO ONE ever called e back. That, to me, is unacceptable. How can they even do that? ESPECIALLY given the circumstances. They can totally make it right by giving me those 8 sessions back. They were initially paid for, what's it's to them? Essentially, they have stolen customer money and not provided service. It's WRONG! read more

I got a gift certificate for a massage envy for Christmas from my husband. Proceeded to show him a yelp review of an inappropriate massage therapist with a woman. This is happened to other times since I've been opened that I've noticed that I don't know how they stay in business I asked him to get his money back they do not return money and my husband said why don't you have that posted I would give them zero stars read more

What more can I say, this place is stellar. Excellent customer service, feels like they genuinely care about me and want to help me feel my best. No wonder they're the leader in massage and skincare! They are constantly adding new and exciting services, can't wait to try the stretch. Have heard nothing but great things about this service. I'll tell everyone I know to come to this location. 10 stars read more

Seen Celina several times and is never a disappointment, she always finds the tight areas and works out all the knots

Super sweet people checked me into this location, told me where the bathrooms were, the waiting room, the retail products. I had to fill out a form about where my tension was and sign a release. My massage therapist Valeria was super sweet, not the best massage of my life, but certainly not the worst. There is a super sweet hard sell at the end for membership, but I paid my $55 introductory massage price and walked out relaxed. read more

My first visit. I live in Seattle and needed a massage after helping my mom move out of her apartment. I have had many massages over the last 30 years and this ranks in the top 90%. Very professional from the very pleasant first call to make the appointment, to my welcome at the front desk from that same person, through a wonderful, therapeutic and refreshing massage to the re-visit to the front counter to pay - and schedule my next two! Excellent. The therapist listened to me regarding my focus areas and did an outstanding job, she knows her physiology! Highly recommend. read more

Well, I do like to get my massage on every once in a while. I should probably go more but dont make the time. Massage Envy is a great concept for a few reasons. 1. Its very affordable. First time visit is only $39. $39 for a 1 hour massage....are you kidding me? Thats awesome! 2. Locations. They're everywhere. Hey, look....theres one now! 3. They're legit. You dont have to feel shady going in and your wife doesnt have to wonder if you're getting a massage or a rub and tug! The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star rating...they're a little pushy with the close. They have a membership and they push that pretty hard. Hey, I know when I need a massage, I dont need to be "sold". If they could back off of this just a little, they'd be 5 star all the way. read more

My fiancé has a membership here and she has been going for a while and loved it. She had been getting a massage by the same guy there and was never uncomfortable by him until the last time she went there she said he made her super uncomfortable and when he massaged her butt even after telling him not to go near that area and also mentioned to me that she kept feeling a breeze on her butt which obviously means the blanked kept getting slightly pulled down. Just very unprofessional and very frustrating to hear as her fiancé. She tried to cancel because she doesn't feel comfortable there anymore and then massage envy said she needs to do more sessions before she's allowed to cancel which is even more unfair considering that they didn't clarify this enough when she signed up. Be careful ladies. I never leave 1 star reviews but this is something that has to be talked about because this is so uncool. read more

I received a gift card for my birthday. This was my first experience with a massage envy and over all it was a good experience. Just a different atmosphere if your used to visiting a spa. Pros: Office Staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. made you feel very welcome. Alyssa my therapist was very nice and took time to listen to all my needs and concerns and I would recommend her for anyone in need of deep tissue work. Lots of appointments available Had a deal for first time clients of $55.00 for a one hour massage Cons: Walls are paper thin. The gentleman in the next room was talking very loud and listened to him during my entire treatment. You could hear everything going on in the surrounding area. They use lotion and not oils. Be warned these are very cold and will be a surprise if your used to warm oil massages. Massage Table was not heated All in all it was a nice hour away from reality read more
