I thought a Massage Envy membership would be a better option for me than any gym membership I've ever owned-- it wasn't! I've been a ME member since August, my first massage visit was today. But I promise this time it'll be different. From this day forward, I'll be better. I vow to visit consistently, and when I do-- I'll be looking for Ricky! I'm typically not a male masseuse sorta' girl, but I wanted deep-tissue pressure along with professionalism (to kinda' make up for lost time), and Ricky more than delivered! I mean-- the knots and muscle tension that I carry in my neck and shoulders are not to be toyed with by a soft handed massage-- they fight back! Ricky handled it like a champ! I could go on, but I'll move onto the other aspects of ME- WeMo that I enjoyed. The staff working the front desk are efficient and friendly. Check in was seamless, iPads for the waiver and questions was quick and painless, and the ambiance is on point! I've already set up my next appointment, and I vow to keep it! Absolutely HORRIBLE! I have been struggling with The West Mobile location to cancel my monthly membership since August 2023!!!!! EVERY time I call, I'm given the run around. They say they will call me back, yet never do. They said they would cancel my membership, yet NEVER did! Today, the Store Manager, Jamie, kept putting me on hold and hanging up on me and refused to talk to me like a coward. Same with Lexi. Lexi lied about who the store manager and regional managers are, and how to contact them. These "ladies" are rude, immature, and completely unprofessional. I visited the link as suggested, filled out a comment and never heard anything back-- good or bad. I already had a slightly negative opinion after my massage but was on the fence. I scheduled my first facial at this facility. My esthetician was Tiffany, and she was great! She is very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. My skin looks and feels amazing after one facial. I love how she seems more medically geared as opposed to a facial I've gotten at other facilities where it was just for pampering. I plan on seeing her monthly or every other month. read more

This business does not vaccines work. People who are FULLY vaccinated (and after mask mandates had been lifted for some weeks) are required to wear masks. I have been a member of Massage Envy for many years, continuing my membership when I moved from another state. I have given ME massages as gifts to family members. I have complied with wearing masks for over a year. I made scores of masks for extended family when we were still being told they didn't work. I got vaccinated as soon as I was eligible. But I will no longer give my patronage to businesses that do not believe in vaccines. Further, when I asked to cancel my membership, I was told I had to 1) come in in person (you are so afraid of getting Covid that a vaccinated person has to wear a mask BUT that person must appear in person to request a cancellation?!?!?) or 2) request cancellation in writing (via email). I sent an email with all the information they requested. And the next month I was charged again!! When I called the manager, she tried to tell me it was a corporate decision that they had no control over. When I pointed out that I had previously contacted corporate (last month), she switched to telling me it was the local franchise owner's decision (got to find someone to pass the blame to; no responsibility taken). If you are looking for a GREAT massage from someone who believes vaccines work, try Valerii deLoach. Appointments can be made online or by phone; she has a membership plan similar to ME's; and she has developed several unique therapies for specific issues (some of which I had tried to find help for many years with little success). I really liked my therapist at ME for what it's worth. I'd probably have continued going there for many many years if they acted like they believe in science and medicine. read more

Got a mother's day gift for my mom and she set up an appointment they called and confirmed it and today when she went in they did not have her scheduled for what she had requested and said they could do it the week after and didn't even have the right person she had requested a female and they had a male. read more
