My massages here left me in far better condition. She used rollers, deep tissue techniques, and heat. She understood my issues - my sprain, my history of fibromyalgia and torn rotator cuffs. Inside the relaxing waiting area where we were served a delicious lunch (made personally by Linda), the ambiance and decor were the perfect precursor to the spa treatments. The personal touches Linda did for my friend were greatly appreciated and made her feel special. When Linda came to bring my friend to the massage room for her facial and massage, I looked through the scrapbook that detailed Linda's interesting life as a masseuse to the stars during her many years in the movie industry. She is also an author, and very interesting to converse with. A very gracious lady, indeed. I also went out into the living area to enjoy the artwork, which is diverse and beautiful. Heard nothing back about unavailability of staff, so I proceeded to drive all the way from Foley to West Mobile, sit in the waiting area for 15 minutes, just for the owner to come out and tell me the lady I scheduled my appointment with wasn't even aware I had an appointment, then when I spoke with her directly I was told that she was out riding with her dad and that she'd still be able to do my massage, AN HOUR AND A HALF after my appointment time. Mind you, I only get one off day out of the week, and it was wasted on not even having time to get my massage done. I wasn't offered to be fit in, because all other staff was "busy", nor did she offer to reschedule or compensate me for the time/money wasted and unprofessional first time experience with this spa, so I ended up wasting my gas and half of my off day on absolutely nothing!
