It felt more like a light touch than a therapeutic massage, and I left still feeling tense. I was really looking forward to this appointment after traveling such a long distance, so it was disappointing to leave feeling like I didn't receive the level of service I paid for. Their website was terrible and all I was doing was trying to buy my mother a gift card; called but I couldn't even do that over the phone because they have no way to get a gift certificate to someone. So it became increasingly frustrating to do business with an office that isn't in touch with today's customer market. Ended up in a yelling match with Valerie De Loch. The massage therapists do not speak English as their first language but the therapist that I see (male) does seem to understand me pretty well. I specifically ask for firm pressure and he does use his elbows with some of the moves. To me, this is perfect - I have a job where I sit at a desk for 8 hours a day, so this move really helps to relieve pressure in my traps and neck area. I prefer to lay on the tables vs. chair massage. I have a frequent client card and get a "punch" each time I go. Every now and then, I will redeem my punch card for a free 10 minute massage which is perfect if I am on my lunch break from work. I definitely recommend this place for a convenient massage. Walk in's are welcome - I am not sure if they take appointments. Be sure to tell the therapist of your needs so that you get the most out of your massage. Enjoy!
