Once inside, the shop is tiny but clean and nicely decorated. This issues was that we showed a picture of the desired nail art. She told us she could not do a 3D flower but indicated she could try to do the rest of the design that included French tips with cheetah prints on each nail plus rhinestones and small flowers. What we got was very nice French tips but only cheetah print on each ring finger that looked like a child's coloring. I wish she has just said that she could not do any of the nail art. We are now at another salon getting this fixed.

Lisa has an adorable boutique in AB. She's been in the nail industry for 20 plus years so she knows her stuff. It's more than knowing nail art, she knows how to get your nails healthy and keep them there! Recently she started making her own body scrubs, bath bombs etc. THEY ARE AMAZING!! I was so blessed to pick Tammy at Spring Nails & Spa from Maps this morning! I am in town to go on…read morea cruise, and didn't have time before leaving to get my nails done. since we stayed all night near her shop, I decided to call her the morning of our cruise to see if I could get an appointment. She was so sweet to open up and give me a 9:45 appointment. What a blessing she is! I received a beautiful manicure with gel nails, while we exchanged our testimonies of how God has worked in our lives, and as Tammy said, "he can bring beauty from ashes." Deceptive pricing. Came in for a French manicure. They had me choose from three different…read morepowders... but failed to disclose that one shade was priced higher than the others. I asked how much the acrylic set was; $40. I decided to STOP after the nails were shaped. No clear coat, no polish, nothing. They told me it would be $55, the price of a pink and white fill in..... my nails were bare when I walked in so this makes no sense. The powder didn't cost more, they just wanted the cost of a French set. Additionally, the grit on the bit they use is WAY TOO HARSH for the natural nail. Not sure how they haven't already been reported to the Alabama Board of Cosmetology. I do NOT recommend.
