Impossible to get out of a membership. It's terrible that they need to resort to fine print legal clauses to keep a clientele instead of offering a great service and competitive price. I had a facial here and it was nothing short of extraordinary. It was a relaxing self care moment from beginning to end. The staff follows all safety Covid protocols. They wear masks and gloves, guests are requested to wash their hands prior to any service. My facial was in a private room, as all services are. I felt relaxed and comfortable through the hour. There are over 1200 locations nationwide and your information follows you in their system no matter what city you use the service in. This location was clean and neat. There was soft relaxing water sounds playing and the light was relaxing. My facial was performed by a licensed aesthetician. She took great care choosing the products used on my face. It was an awesome experience and one that I hope to repeat regularly. read more

I am not the only one who has got the run around when trying to cancel. Took me 2 months and as a result she BANNED me from Massage Envy. Gaslight me about doing her job and I have the pictures to prove it. Receptionists are barely trained and can't handle negative feedback. After two months, 3 phone calls, one in person visit, and no response, I had the AUDACITY to declare I would be coming in person until it got done. For that I am BANNED for life. Literally wanted to be banned, not a punishment. Don't be anything but pleased I'd you decide to visit this location. My opinion: shop small, shop local. Massage Envy - Glenbrook - Massage Near Me - Fort Wayne, Indiana

In November 2018, I bought my wife a massage package for $100. With that included two special treatments. I also bought another $20 worth of other optional treatments. She said the massage was fine but not exceptional in any way. After her massage, she went to pay after it was over, the guy behind the counter told her the $100 card only had $75 on it. She had to pay an additional $20, then, mysteriously, he threw the $100 card (with a $25 balance left on it) in the trash. She told me about it when she got home and I called them immediately to complain. I informed them that even though this was a gift, it was not a Christmas gift. I believe they were counting on the gift giver, not talking to the recipient about the experience. My complaint was forwarded to the manager who was not there, that manager did not call me back. A manager from another store out of town called me back. They said all they could do was send me a $25 card for the unused balance. I told them I did not want a gift card because I did not plan on going back there ever again. She said their policy is not to give a cash refund so I said go ahead and send me the card, but I wanted to contact information for their corporate office. I received the card, no no letter of apology was included nor was there any information to contact their corporate office. I had to look them up online and they took my complaint down and said the owner of the franchise would be getting in contact with me within the next 2 to 3 days. 2 1/2 weeks later I had to call corporate again. They said they would escalate it and have the owner call me within 2 to 3 days. Four weeks later, I still received no call. I would NEVER recommend doing business with this company. read more

We never do anything for ourselves and we both took off work to spend the day in Fort Wayne (we live an hour and half away) go shopping, massage and dinner reservations. Been coming here for awhile now and they always do a great job. I typically get deep tissue/deep pressure massages and the therapist that specializes in that technique never disappoint. The staff is super friendly and the clinic is very clean and relaxing. I always feel better when leaving from here and would definitely recommend this location to others! read more

Paid for hour massage, got maybe 40 minutes. She was late coming out to get me in waiting room and then cut session short. Plus she talked the entire time..I came to relax not talk! Then when I leave they try to rope you into signing up for more sessions. read more

I am super picky about the massage therapists I go to and I have been to many massage therapists in and out of the U.S. Every one that I have seen at Massage Envy has been pretty good. One of my favorites is Joshua at the Glenbrook location. He is very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. I really hope he is treated well as an employee. I'm not sure what the monetary compensation is for the massage therapists, but he deserves some type of raise, bonus, or promotion. read more
