The space is rather simple but welcoming and very clean. In the massage room it was dimly lit (but not dark by any means) and there was some soft music playing in the background. The table had a warmer, which was wonderful because I am always cold! Although I sometimes enjoy aromatherapy there were no overwhelming herbal smells... which often cause headaches. Visually speaking the space is very warm and welcoming... nicely put together to aid in relaxation. I had the pleasure of meeting/ receiving a massage from Dru. She was very kind and thoughtful, she took her time in talking with me and I didn't feel rushed... she truly listened. The massage itself was one of the best I have ever received! I walked away feeling less stressed and very mellow. She was able to relieve a lot of tension and soreness. She applied the level of pressure required to relax my muscles and never too much. I will certainly be back! I can't wait as a matter of fact! If you want to feel better and don't need all the frills then this is definitely the place to go!

For background: trying acupuncture was a last-ditch attempt to address lower back pain I've had for years, which was sometimes so severe I couldn't sleep. I'd seen doctors, tried meds, done PT, you name it. My new insurance covered Sean's, so I gave it a shot - and I didn't have back pain again for months. MONTHS. Now I make an appointment whenever it starts up again, and it's gone by the time I leave. Jen is direct and knowledgable, she checks in with me throughout the treatment, and I thoroughly enjoy our conversations. Big fan. Also, I said I get the occasional massage, right? Jen's are great, but today I went to Sean for the first time, and I am SHOOK. As long as I can remember, moving my neck a certain way caused intense pain. The massage was a little intense - Sean did check in with me several times - but I suspected I needed the higher pressure, and I was right. I walked out of there, moved my neck, and...nothing. No pain. For the first time in my life. I feel like I've touched Christ's robes. I'm not the kind of person who cares what a massage office looks like. I've been to a lot of massage centers/spas, and I've learned that how fancy a place is has nothing to do with how effective they are. As long as it's clean and comfortable, I'm good, and Sean's is very clean and the rooms are usually at a good temp (and if they're not, just ask, and they'll get you a heater or fan). That said, I get that some people do care, so I'll say that most of the rooms are brightly lit and there's no ~ambiance~ extras (plants, candles, whatever). In sum: they're professional, clean, affordable, and SUPER effective. I'm moving a couple hours away soon, and honestly, I'll probably make the drive to keep coming here.

Latoya and Jennifer were both knowledgeable and professional, and staff wore masks and sanitized very well during my appointments. I will be canceling my membership and I don't recommend anyone going to this place because you don't know what you will end up getting or not getting very disappointing. I gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero stars, but it is zero stars for me. And to add to this, I've only been a member for a couple of months. After going over what I was needing attention to, I jumped on the table and we got started. The massage therapist was friendly and kind, but I can't say it was a great massage. I left still feeling very tight in my calves and legs. There where she paid a lot of attention to that really didn't need any attention at all in my opinion. She just kept repeatedly rubbed the back of my ankle, while more time could have been spent on my calves that were tight. I hate to complain because she was super nice, it just felt like she wasn't very experienced. Having said all of that, I'm not sure I'd use her again. As for the place, I left undecided on if I'd come back. My search continues.

Reception was super friendly and even fit my first visit in on a same-day appointment. Both visits were performed by Montana. I was given plenty of time to get changed and comfortable without feeling rushed or taking too much time. A ground-level heater made the massage table comfortable. It was also nice to finally find an LMT that used a reserved amount of oils/lotions so you didn't feel like you were walking out of the spa covered in Crisco. Montana asked me about problem areas and focused efforts on those muscle groups, applying just the right amount of pressure, checking in throughout to make sure everything was just right. I've tweaked some things in my back at the gym and these last few sessions have really helped. This is my new go-to spa for massages. I viewed it as something you treated yourself to on vacation lol. I was so wrong! Massage, done by the right person, can help everyday health issues. I have had sinus/ allergy issues since the 4th grade. Fast forward to this week a bad cold and crazy temperature shifts had left me with a headache for 3 days. The dizziness was starting as was the pain down my neck and the back of my skull. The pressure was terrible! I was heading down the path to a sinus infection ugh. I felt like if I could just rub my face enough it would loosen up. Then the light bulb went off. Could a massage help this ? Is there a sinus massage ? YES and YES! I called my friend Rachel at Mindful Moments. She got me in the next morning and over 24 hours later I am still headache free!
