So I had to go off my HRT cold turkey since they wouldn't fill one last script. I had a positive experience with my tummy tuck at Dr Donaldson. I had reached out to a few other plastic surgeons and felt like Dr Donaldson gave me the personal experience I was looking for. My healing process was smooth and Dr Donaldson called me after my surgery to check in. I'd say the only negative I had is that you really only meet Dr Donaldson the day of surgery. It would have been nice to have a follow up with him post surgery. I was also told that there was some sort of "graduation" ceremony during your last post surgery appointment with the surgical staff but that wasn't actually a thing. I'm also a bit disappointed that I never received a follow up when I expressed concerns regarding my scar tissue. read more

After 2 years of having consults with plastic surgeons all around Columbus, I found Donaldson, and they absolutely changed my life. I visited Dr. Marguerite Winslow Weston for a routine check up and per what was written in my file, there was a significant error placed in the EMH/EHR from this clinician that was not previously in my file until I saw this clinician. Prior clinicians did not annotate such egregious errors that has become a major concern. Avoid this doctor and practice at all costs. Currently weighing legal options against this practitioner and practice. These mistakes should never happen and is a direct result of failure to pay attention and rushing. Recommendation: Revoke/suspend medical license. read more

I had 2 previous gynecomastia/vaser lipo surgeries at another clinic and the surgeon missed fat while doing lipo. So I decided to give Dr Donaldson a visit. I was really confused by my consultation. Because when I flex and I have a lot of muscle disguising my fat.. I don't need surgery? I think that's very flawed logic. He said that is just the shape of my chest. Then he tried to point out stretch marks on my biceps (had nothing to do with my chest). Brought in another one of his co-workers and tried to manipulate/confuse me further. He still offered to do the surgery but thought it wouldn't make a difference. He told me he would expect little to no improvement. He then quoted the surgery at full price approximately $7500. So decided to give Dr. Shah a visit at Columbus institute of Plastic surgery and decided to book surgery. He only charged $3700 for level 1 lipo and he took out over a liter of fat from my chest! Also Donaldson's clinic charged me $100 consultation fee for this consultation. In a way I am thankful you led me elsewhere. read more

I cry tears of joy as I write this. I researched plastic surgeons and read 1 million reviews and ended up at Donaldson. My niece had a tummy tuck here many years ago and is still very happy with her results. Dr. Michelle Sieffert was my surgeon. I am amazed at how it went and my results. AMAZING! Everything is exactly what I asked for, size & symmetry and even at three weeks, the incisions are almost completely healed. The combination of meds given post-surgery covered any issue I could possibly have. The whole experience was pain-free, only a touch of nausea and no risk of blood clots. I've been on every online support group and none of the issues other people have were even possible with the skill of Dr. Sieffert and the preventative measures in place. Dr. D, Adrienne, Carrie, and Bobbie are amazing at what they do! For several years, I have been thinking about liposuction for my abdominal area. However, for some reason, I thought liposuction was too aggressive or major of a surgery for the small amount of fat I was dealing with. For the last fifteen years, I have worked-out and maintained a healthy diet. However, prior to that my diet was horrible, but I did workout. During my years of unhealthy eating that's when most of my abdominal fat developed... About five years ago, I decided to get back out into the dating world and to do that I wanted to have more self-confidence about my abdominal area. So, I started to look into many different procedures for my abdominal area; surgery and non-surgery options. Overall, I felt surgery was not necessary for my focus area. Around the same time, I started with electro slim body sculpting; I did not enjoy this type of treatment and I felt it was waste of time and money. Next, I moved to Coolsculpting treatments. I saw some great results from a few treatments with Coolsculpting. After those treatments, I lost 2 inches from my abdominal area. I took a break for several months from any form of treatments. I wanted to adjust to losing the inches. My goal was not to lose weight or to have defined abs. It was for my abdominal area to be more symmetry with the frame of my body. I chose Donaldson Plastic Surgery because of the great reviews and the doctor and his staff are very nice and professional, office very clean. Had a great feeling going in, but unfortunately cannot recommend. Ended up being a huge waste of money for me. First I had rhinoplasty. Wanted the bumps in my nose smoothed and the tip less pointy. $6000 later my nose looks worse as the bumps are still there and now my nose is crooked. Of course you sign off on papers before hand stating that you understand results are not guaranteed, so what can I do? Can't afford to fix it so now I walk around with a crooked nose. Thanks. Before the swelling came down on my nose it looked okay because you couldn't see the bumps or crookedness at that time, so during that time period I returned for lip fillers and Botox on my eyes. I told Dr Donaldson I wanted Botox to soften my crows feet and fine lines and he recommended Juvederm around my eyes instead. I trusted him, and ended up leaving with my lines and crows feet PLUS bags under my eyes since Juvederm is a filler. When I expressed displeasure the doctor said he must have misunderstood what I wanted. Botox for crows feet is pretty standard so I'm very confused how he misunderstood. Why would I have wanted to add bags under my eyes? As for the lip filler (done at the same time I had my eyes done, so I hadn't yet realized the doctors mistake) it was my first time getting it done and, as I said, I trusted that he knew what he was doing. He injected the filler into the inside of my mouth, not my lips. The result was that my lip stuck out like duck face, but the lip itself was not any plumper. I now have my filler done at The Skin Center and they inject into the lip and do a good job. They were very confused when I told them how Dr Donaldson had done it. Such a nice guy. I hate to leave a bad review, but my crooked nose and I very much regret ever going here. read more

about 5 years go I went to Dr. Donaldson. and it was a horrible experience. it would take too long to go into all the details as I'm trying to move on with my life and I do not have the patience or strength to relive it again. but I would NOT recommend him. In fact, I would beg anyone to not go to him. he caused me so much turmoil and I lost so much money just to be even more unhappy. Please remember this... Not every doctor graduates at the top of his or her class...there are doctors out there that had barely passing grades that still graduate mediocre students and allow them to be called "surgeons".
