Danielle at Massage Envy is amazing! I've been going to her for several years. She is very responsive to my pain points and always does a great job of working the knots out. I appreciate her hard work and highly recommend her to anyone! read more

Danielle was awesome as always! I would recommend her and this massage Envy location in Chandler

Danielle has been my therapist for quite a while and she's absolutely the best. She's a very kind person who is always interested in what's going on in my life (to help her get to know me but also to help diagnose where my muscle tension comes from). She's always been able to release the tension in my lower back and I can't express my gratitude enough to her! read more

Tricia is AMAZING! She is the best massage therapist I've had over the years coming to Massage Envy.

Yris is very skilled and her deep pressure is amazing! She does a wonderful job working out my knots and relieving tension in my troubled areas. This was my second time booking with her and I left both times feeling so much less tense and more relaxed. I highly recommend Yris! read more

I went for a facial on Wed, 3/18 to use one of my 90 credits. Saw Danielle and she was awesome. So, I made an appt to have a 90 min massage on Saturday for both my daughter and me. Scheduled for 9:30 and 9:45. My daughter was so excited as this was part of her birthday present! Well, we arrive at about 9:25 Saturday and the first receptionist couldn't find my appt, so the girl next to her asked for my phone number. I gave it and she said you're scheduled for next Sat, not today. She had been at the desk when I checked out Wed and I said "I booked this for this Sat as I was leaving Wed, so the man helping me must have made a mistake." I thought, in the spirit of customer service, I would get an "oh, I'm so sorry about that, our next available time is so-and-so." Nope. Instead, she argued with me. She said, "Well, we don't have any facials available today," and I repeated that we were not here for a facial, but a massage. She asked who I was booked with and I said I think her name was Jackie. She said, "Jackie doesn't even do facials." So, AGAIN, I repeated, "We aren't here for a facial!" Then, the manager for the little side office jumps up and comes to school me that I need to be respectful as she was only trying to help. Respectful? Because having to repeat myself three times to a woman who clearly wasn't listening somehow qualifies as disrespect. Ok. Got it. Not sure how to make that make sense. And, trying to help? Trying to help would look like asking if we are available at any other time today, finding out if another day would work, and, perhaps apologizing instead of brushing me off the the next receptionist (I spoke with three!). The error isn't what made me decide to never return to this location, but the way they handled it was awful. A warning: if you schedule here, double check before you arrange your day around this appointment because they have no respect for their clients or their time. I gave two stars because Danielle was a really good aesthetician and if she goes to another location, I'd happily see her again. My skin looked great! read more

Yris is absolutely amazing. I go to see her for a thorough massage and I always feel better after her massage. She is incredibly knowledgeable and brilliantly skillful. I know what I would feel so well, without her massages! read more

I've had several massage therapists over the years. Danielle is by far the best. She listens then conforms her session accordingly. Perfect. Staff is always courteous and professional. read more

Marty, Evelyn always do helpful atbthe front desk. Danielle so great for a massage. Been seeing her for years. Great conversation as well.

Always professional and friendly at the front desk. Ashley and Shantay are fantastic! Extremely happy with the care.

Here's the truth. I like massage envy, it's pretty ok. I like that there are locations all over as we travel and spend our time in 3 different cities. Recently we moved back to Phoenix as our main hub. Had we had not done that I probably would have cancelled my membership. I prayed that Danielle O was still working at this location. Like I said I've been to massage Envy's all over and she is BY FAR the best massage therapist I've ever had. She is the reason I have stayed at Massage Envy. She has such a range- deep to light. She is so professional and nice. She gives the best massage I've ever had at any establishment. She is what really makes my experience above and beyond amazing. Thanks Danielle O for taking pride in what you do! read more

I've been going to Danielle O. for a couple of years now and she is the best massage therapist I've ever had. She's great at what she does but she's also very kind and attentive. If you have any injuries or troubling issues, she knows just what to do. I can't say enough about how great she is. read more

Danielle O. is a fabulous massage therapist! She is so professional and customizes the massage to exactly what I need at that time--pressure, focus areas, avoid areas, etc. She is also a delight and so friendly and equally respects the times I want to stay silent. She has an impeccable memory, and I highly recommend her. (The front desk staff are also great--love this location.) read more

I have been a member with Massage Envy for over a decade and Danielle O. Is the best masseuse I have ever found there!

Best therapists! The front desk takes their time to match you with the right therapist to fit your needs

I am absolutely flabbergasted and frustrated by the administrative runaround at this location. I called ahead specifically to handle my membership, yet no one mentioned that a manager's physical presence was required to cancel. Since I was already driving up to pick up my sunglasses, I figured I'd 'kill two birds with one stone,' only to be told I couldn't be helped because a manager wasn't on the premises--despite the business being wide open! It is amazing to me that a functioning business lacks the basic authority to process a cancellation during posted hours. . The only reason this isn't a 1-star review is the talent on staff. Danielle is an amazing massage therapist and I will sincerely miss her. It's a shame that such a great provider is backed by such a disappointing and inconvenient management system. read more

Super friendly front desk! Great professional masseuse as well! Amia was so kind to help me figure out my membership! I had to leave her a review bc service was 10/10 Will come back :) read more

GABBY V is the BEST massage therapist I've ever had. I used to have a membership, but now I can only go a couple times a year. If Gabby isn't available, I don't book! She is so experienced and gives massages that I can only describe as a tingling bear hug . 60 minute sessions are never enough time! read more

I booked online for my first massage in awhile. I was shown $80 for the massage when I booked and was never shown anything else. After my massage I get told it's $130 and that "this location doesn't honor that pricing". How on earth would I have known that? I get told "it's in the fine print when you book". Absolute scam and won't ever come back. When I called, whoever I talked to couldn't care less and just tried to sell me their membership. Never again read more

The membership plans at ME are a complete scam. They literally don't have enough therapists to cover the number of members they have. The mobile app to book never works and spent a year trying to get it to work. Decided to quit and never return. Never mind massage quality is only ok. Live and learn but I would only pay when you get service and definitely not use the membership read more

Brand new to this, booked an appointment for my fiancé that wanted a Facial. Was given no options over the phone other than the appointment time . Get there, ask for facial, get told that the Esthetician is not there, and when we ask to reschedule for that Esthetician, we were forced to pay a cancellation fee. FORCED. Didn't even want to call up a manager or anything. AVOID THIS SCAM ASS LOCATION. read more

How about the attitude on your General Manager Tracy. My husband isn't much into getting a massage and not a fan of Massage Envy so actually getting him to agree to one is HUGE! He has been here a few times over the last 20+ years that I have been a member and he has a profile with them, to which I usually transfer a credit to him. I dropped him off while I found a place to park. I walk in and my husband immediately tells me they don't have an appointment for him and he said I will wait for you at NYPD Pizza and leaves. I told Tracy that I made both appointments at the same time, to which she responded VERY defensively "we left 3 messages and sent a text. We had to cancel it because he didn't have a credit card on file and we didn't hear back from him. Why didn't he return our messages?" WOW! I said we never got a message and when I said why didn't you call this morning and she said she "couldn't hold the appointment & had to cancel .. and she called 3 times and mentioned calling at 7:30pm last night". We did see a call come thru but he didn't answer because he was in an appt and I mentioned that they are just calling to confirm his appointment and they will be calling me next. I never received a call and my husband never received the other 2 phone calls or text message that she claims to have sent. When I asked what number she text and rather than confirm the number, she responded "the one he just gave me". I said this recently happened to me and I asked if Katie was there and she said "this is MY clinic, I am the general manager". I dont recall his name at the moment but the guy that helped me when my appointment was cancelled, and is very friendly and helpful, walked in from the back and was standing behind her and had a surprised look on his face when he realized what had happened and I tried to get his attention, hoping he would step up, but he would not give me eye contact and said nothing. I said that I have been a member for over 15 years , why would you do this as I am the customer. She said it's HIS profile and there wasn't a credit card on file so I said then the girl that took the appointment should have asked for one .. to which she responded "she is new and this is a learning opportunity for her". I said this is horrible customer service, cancel my appointment and I walked out and joined my husband. What a horrible customer service experience! My husband will never go back now due to Tracy and her very aggressive and unprofessional demeanor. Why couldn't they pull up the appointment and see that I also made one and contace me? Why couldnt they ask the girl that took my call and scheduled both appointments so she could say to call me? Unbelievable. I am numb. read more

I have been a member of this Massage Envy for at least 10 years. As time has gone on, I have seen several of the massage therapists. Although they are all good, I think there are a few that shine a little brighter. My first choice is always going to be Gabby. She is an incredible therapist. Very, very knowledgeable about the body and the muscles and how to help alleviate pain with her massage techniques. Although I get a pretty deep massage, I have always felt much better afterwards and have noted that I am never sore either. She is truly amazing and should be appreciated for her wonderful massage and genuine concern for her clients and their overall health and wellness. Simply Amazing! I have also gone to Brenda and Jackie. Both of these ladies are amazing as well. I highly recommend either of these therapists as they are both very professional and proficient with their craft. You cannot go wrong with any of the 3 I have listed, and I am so happy that they are all still there working as long as they have been. Management needs to truly appreciate these ladies as the gems that they are! I know as a recipient of their massages, you will be extremely happy with their services. Thanks to these therapists! Last, I'd like to shout out their awesome receptionist, André Harper. This man is so welcoming and has great interpersonal skills. I don't know what they are paying him, but it's probably not enough to keep him lol! He not only is great at working the front desk and all the multi-tasking that's required, he also remembers the clients' names! There is nothing like going to a business (be it a corporate one at that), and you are treated like a friend! Bravo to this location! You definitely want to make this place your top spot for massages (and facials-which I will be getting next time). This place has been great for the last decade, and will continue to be great as long as they have this great combination of employees working there! Keep up the great work, Massage Envy Chandler! read more

If I could find a way to leave this review for Massage Envy Corporate I would. There have recently been some changes to massage envy procedures that leave much to be desire. Firstly, they changed how far out a client could book sessions. I used to have a standing appointment set up for the same day/time every week when I could book 6 months out. Now, corporate wants to existing clients like me (I've been at this location for 20 years) to compete with new clients for appointment times. Next, they instituted a stupid making appoints in 15 minute intervals leaving therapists with no time to have a lunch break and having growling stomachs during the massage session. Lastly, they have gone to a new system of leaving tips. If a client wants to leave a tip on their debit/credit card, they have to use the "tippy" interface that charges a 3.47% convenience fee. I don't care what the manager or front desk says, massage envy is obviously getting a cut of the convenience charge. This means that I have to make a special stop at my bank to get cash to leave for a tip which is very inconvenient. None of the recent changes have done a thing to provide additional customer service, they are just a way for Massage Envy to squeeze out more money from clients and therapists. read more

I booked an online session with Jackie, who listed her pressures as up to firm. I booked a 90 minute session. She never asked about the pressure of the massage. The massage was light pressure and unlike any I've had with light rapid movements, think of a scooting your feet across the carpet. I told myself to relax and try to enjoy it.I had been looking forward to a massage for quite sometime. Near the 60 minute mark I asked her if she could apply more pressure she said that she was doing "firm pressure" and she cannot go deeper. At that point I politely said I am going to stop the massage. The entire massage was light pressure with fast rapid movements. The entire massage wasn't good. I could over look the pressure if the technique used was relaxing. I have had many massages and NEVER felt the need to ask to stop the massage. When I got to the front desk I was told I needed to pay for the entire 90 minutes even though I was dressed and back to the front by the 60 minute mark. I was prepared to pay for the time spent on the table, that is completely fair. It is unacceptable to me that I was asked to pay for the entire 90 minutes when the therapist was falsely advertised online. The young man at the front desk was apologetic. I know that there was nothing he could do but follow the policy. This is a crap policy to have in place. I have been looking to get more frequent massages and made this appointment to see how I liked this place, considering a membership. Safe to say, you lost my business. read more

I have been a member of Massage Envy for around 20 years. I started in Ahwatukee and moved to Chandler over 10 years ago. I have been going to the Chandler and 101 location all these years. I went on Tuesday 4/12 when I was informed when I was checking out that I could no longer use my "grandfathered" rate at this location. When I told the lady checking me out that I had been there for 10 years and was just there a couple of weeks ago, and no one said this to me. I was stunned! The manager Tracy came out of her office raised her voice and told me I'm no longer profitable and to go back to where I signed up they will honor my contact. I replied that when I signed up they said I could go to any Massage Envy. She yelled back, "It's in your contact you should read it." After this heated exchange I paid, tipped my therapist and left to get away from Tracy. I called the Ahwatukee the location and they gave me a phone number to call. I have called twice and left 2 voicemails, no one has called me back. Both the Ahwatukee and Chandler location are owned by the same Corporation that also owns over 100 locations. I have supported this company for over 20 years! I have paid for friends gifts, referred people, tipped based on current rates and been a loyal customer through COVID. I did not quit paying, So if your thinking of getting a membership and they tell you your membership is good at all their locations they are lying. It's called "puffing". This is an example of corporate bullying the little guy. Shame on Massage Envy. If I don't hear anything soon you may see me on the news! read more

Expect issues when trying to cancel membership! I have called 4 times over the last 2 weeks to cancel my membership. Each time I call, im told the manager will callback with 24-48 hours to confirm cancellation as she is the only person authorized. I have never downgraded or reported a business on Yelp or anything else. Today, I went to the chandler ME and wanted to set up two appointments AND buy 45 gift cards for an employee event. We have been a member of ME for at least 10 years and have never had a complaint. I walked in the door and was told " sir, do you have. Mask?" I told her I don't wear masks anymore because it is no longer a mandated issue. She tells me that "this establishment does and you'll be asked to leave if you don't pick one on". It went on from there but I explained that I'd like to spend $4000 or so dollars today but she would have no part of it. "You won't do that till you have a mask". She said I'd like to know if that is something the manager agrees with. read more

I am so grateful to Laura. I recently had a very emotionally traumatic experience and was storing so much tension in my neck and shoulders and back that I could hardly move. 0 for 2 in terms of customer services at this site. 1st time I booked a 90 minute massage. I arrived at the time they gave me and they said I was 30 mins late. I was charged for a 90 min massage and received a 60 min massage. It was super noisy, the room next door was laughing and chatting the entire time. The massage with Joseph was great, firm. I spoke to manager the next day and was apologetic. I called earlier this week to book a massage with Joseph for today. I called to confirm the time and they had nothing booked. I am so disappointed, I am in desperate need of a massage. No more chances. read more

My fiancé purchased a massage for me for Mother's Day. My therapist was Nicholas - he was great and my overall experience was good. He was a good therapist. The ONLY thing I thought was a little absurd was how LOW everyone speaks in there, it's over the top dramatic. I understand the atmosphere it 'relaxing' but I could just tell it's totalllly out of character for the front desk and Nicholas. read more

Well, I guess I'm just not a massage guy. I've had numerous "therapists" here, and they all hurt like hell. I have yet to get a massage that was "relaxing". Usually I'm having to fight not to tense-up. The only thing that doesn't hurt is my legs, which they worked-on because the ham-strings can be pulling on the lower back. My lower back is still sore from our visit on Sunday. I have seen no sign that anything is changing (i.e. it hurts just as much now as it did 9 months ago). However, my particular idiosyncrasies aren't enough cause to downgrade them like this. What is enough is that they apparently don't know when not to touch someone. One in our party was in an auto accident over the past weekend. We figured having the massage appointment was fortuitous. Doctors and chiropractors are all closed so we couldn't get in till Monday. The therapists were made aware, and went ahead with the massage. So on Monday we get into our chiropractor and she says that massage right after an accident is BAD. We didn't know. But one would expect a professional massage therapist to know. I am not amused. Therefore I cannot recommend this place for anything more than "I feel like getting a massage". Don't expect them to know anything about fixing actual problems, or what is or is not appropriate for your condition. Because apparently they don't. When our contract is up we will not be renewing. My wife will likely finish hers with facials, and I'm not sure what I'll do yet. Maybe just get a basic do-nothing surface massage until I'm done. read more
