First time here after going a few times to their Del Mar Highlands location. I planned to go there, but I put in a request for Jessie, if she was available. And they called me and told me she actually is in Solana Beach on weekends and did I want to switch. It was very easy, and this location actually has easier parking and a more accessible entrance (you can drive right up to the door, rather than having to search for parking at the Highlands and then make your way over to their second floor suite). I don't think everyone masks here, but Jessie was happy to mask as she would in Del Mar, and I had a very relaxing reflexology treatment, with the mugwort soak. Jessie is especially good at feet and calves. So there might be other folks who are good or maybe even better on arms and neck. But Jessie is amazing on legs so I will keep trying to book with her when I come here! read more

Stopped in for my first time over Father's Day weekend and had a wonderful massage. They have two locations, one in Solana Beach and the other in Del Mar. Inside is very clean and well run and you can tell they spent a good amount of money designing the interior with premium equipment and facilities. It was also very low lit, but not overly so, and smelled great on the inside. It's a very professional sort of place and the sort of business that you would want to frequent. The lady behind the counter was extremely polite and most importantly my massage was excellent. I chose to do a 90 minute deep tissue and my masseuse did a wonderful job. She was very small in stature, but extremely strong in her hands and after it was done, I felt wonderful. I was give a gift card to massage concepts & was excited for the runners special massage. I have had many massages but this was my first time here. Unfortunately it was not a super enjoyable experience. I hesitate to say it was BAD, but it was not good. The first sign was when the woman at check in asked me the questions the massage therapist would normally ask. The massage therapist was nice & did ask me for feedback but I do not think she always understood. She moved her hands very quickly with small fingers in a way that just wasn't very relaxing, by the time she finished my back it was probably raw and red & I was so ready for her to be finished. The towels felt really dry and cheap as well . The hot stones are usually a favorite but didn't feel good and again, she moved so quickly it was not relaxing. The second thing was that you could hear female voice's and laughing outside the room throughout the entire hour.Since you are only connected to 1 other neighbor which closed for the evening long before I arrived, if I was a betting man I would address your staff of therapists that didn't have appointments. If I see Ivy or Jenny it's usually always amazing and I don't have any complaints it's best to always tell the girl up front exactly what you want so she can convey it to your masseuse. Some of them understand English so you can also make sure you tell them before they start because sometimes if you don't say anything and you wanted something specific you leave unhappy. Tons of parking in the Del Mar Highlands Center and they accept credit cards you can also book online and they have weekday specials which make it nice to get a discount if you are available then. The Solana Beach one is newer and it's really nice all new and the rooms are nice they actually play music which the one in Del Mar doesn't which I don't like. I have had back pain and sciatica for many years- Emily knew exactly what to do, she worked gently at first but was able to get me to a deep tissue massage - something I could never do before because the pain was so intense.
