When I arrived, there were two people waiting for their favorites Wendy and Erica... and when it was my turn, the owner told me that I have locked out, that Jesse ended up being available and they had made sure I would see her. Mary and Anita were amazing and we both agreed they were the best massages we've ever had. Especially with the longer scalp massage. Heavenly! Everything was clean and comfortable, the bed was heated. Tweaked my neck and same day booked via website since it's on my way home and i needed someone to manhandle me and fix my tweaked neck/shoulder. I have a high tolerance for pain and i usually like a firm massage.. but Julie humbled me with the experience today. 99 bucks cash for 90 minutes of "fixing your computer" neck and hands (full body). this woman was trying to jab her elbow from the back side of my body through to my front - and vice versa. I asked for a firm massage and i got more than i anticipated. definitely had to hold my breathe a few moments to try and not cry out in pain.. but it was kind of a good ouch.. definitely not relaxing.. a therapeutic fix me by breaking me experience. Definitely questioning what massage school or training this woman received.. i think her objective was to shred me to threads with her elbow. all in all a no frills chinese massage .. clean overall but genuinely no frills. no fancy oils offered.. no talking.. same classical music on repeat and somewhat thin walls. she shmooshed and squashed me and elbowed the shit out of every fiber in my body. key thing: fixed the shoulder .. but now i'm sore throughout but in kind of a masochistic feels good through the pain kind of way. They didn't offer anything to drink after.. and it was pretty much get in.. get out.. and nothing more or less. Tipped at 25% cuz she put in that elbow work. I'm still reeling from having nerves and blood vessels elbowed to death .. but hey.. she fixed my shoulder! granted i didn't speak up much except for when she really made me see stars from the pain.. but she did a good job. My friend and I had a shocking and unacceptable experience at this massage place. After our session, we went home and discovered multiple painful, itchy bed bug bites on my body. We had no bites or symptoms before the massage, so it's clear the issue occurred during my visit. When we returned to the store to notify them and kindly suggested they stop accepting new clients and contact pest control, hoping to prevent others from being harmed, the owner responded with hostility. Instead of showing any concern or responsibility, she accused us of lying, dismissed our complaint as "making a fuss," and even threatened to call security to remove us. She went so far as to say her husband is a white lawyer, and told us that as immigrants, we "don't understand American culture or law." That is blatant discrimination and an insult to all customers. Woke up in a lot of pain today. Randomly called them up and fortunately they had an opening. Turns out this is right near the place we get groceries and I've never known it was here. Had an absolutely amazing massage. Clearly the therapists have a LOT of years of experience. I gave them a rough idea of where it hurt most and (with no extra prompting) they found all the trigger points that were causing pain and worked them. Worst front desk experience I've ever had. On the morning of 10/5/25, I called the Del Mar location to ask about their services and pricing. I wanted to understand the difference between the 130- minute Lunar Moon Festival special, the Tuesday promotion, and their regular services. The front desk receptionist was shockingly rude and unhelpful. Instead of answering my simple question, she told me she didn't make the prices, that I should "complain to the owner," and that she was too busy with other customers. When I explained I was just trying to figure out the best value, she became irritated and snapped that all the information was on the website. If everything was clear online, why would I need to call? I was treated as if I were a problem instead of a potential customer. The receptionist's impatience and dismissive attitude made me feel completely unwelcome. For a business that's supposed to offer peace and relaxation, hiring someone at the front desk who is so rude and unprofessional is beyond ironic. If this is how they treat people before even booking, I can't imagine how they value their customers afterward. read more

Today is my birthday, and I decided to treat myself to a massage. I've never been here before and thought I would give it a whirl. Check-in was super fast and then I was brought to a room and instructed to get on the table and then the massage technician came in. The massage itself was really good. The technician barely spoke a word to me, but she got all of the spots that I would have hoped she would have gotten. The only bummer was they are doing construction next-door and I don't know if this is the case for all of the rooms but the room that I was in it literally sounded like they were hammering and drilling in the wall during the entire Massage. Unfortunately not very relaxing. My body feels good but sadly it wasn't the full relaxation I was hoping for. Hopefully the construction was only today or very temporary. UPDATE: I very kindly just heard from the manager, and they let me know that they are actively working on the construction issue and they now have an agreement that the construction will only happen in the morning and they will have clients in a different expanded area of the Massage clinic in the mornings so it won't be a problem. I was in so much pain and had knots aplenty especially a after a stressful two weeks of caring for my elderly mama in the ICU and let me just say, Leah, bless your hands and your expertise! I was in so much pain prior to coming here! today I am tender in those areas but the burning pain before the massage is gone! strained muscles and ligaments are feeling really good! As for those commenting on English speaking or not, please stop being racist, you're not going there to have a Tête-à-tête with your masseuse, you're going to get healed and that's their only responsibility to you as a client. To the owners, your masseuses are professional, soft spoken and definitely asked throughout the session whether pressure was good or if I need more. These tiny ladies have super strong hand and the deep tissue massages are great at working out those knots in tight muscles.
