I returned and the OWNER Carrie decided not to serve me bc i made a joke when she said sorry literally just kidding replied" are you ma'am " meanwhile on a normal day bartenders are BLACKED out , there's weed smoking going on and drug use in the restroom every single time!!!!!! ohhh and serving minors . but yet a 33 year old sober women that went back and did the right thing had to deal with that BULLSHIT asss attitude over saying are you really as she said it with a smile.. like do better. read more

Hands down the best bar food around. The bartenders night and day are a vibe like no other. You will get treated like family and not just a customer. The doorman on the weekends will make sure you are safe and secure and not just carded for looking young. Checked out this place since it wasn't far from my house, I've been a regular since! Cory and Virginia always take care of me! The dive bar environment with good music always playing is what I live for! Monday is free darts & I have great cocktails to accompany it! 10/10 would recommend if you love a good place to hangout with friends and receive great service from the bartenders. I guess after coming to a place for two years on the regular, the least i can do is write a yelp review because i know i look at them from time to time for people's honest (hopefully) opinion.. and i can say that i absolutely love this bar! i saw another review that compared it to cheers and i absolutely agree, that is the vibe. i've made so many friends from grabbing a couple drinks after work. they do allow smoking inside, which i know is a turning point for a lot of people, but honestly i don't notice it. they have several types of games & even free darts on some nights. the food is great & they have drink & shot specials every single day, plus the bartenders are always on their game & you can't beat that. all in all, i highly recommend. read more

Masone's is a great new neighborhood bar right off 290 and Fry out in Cypress. I came here this week after catching a high school football game with friends, and it was the perfect spot for our group. We spent half the night out on the patio playing giant Jenga, and the other half jammin' to old skool songs on the jukebox and playing darts. Service was top notch; as *soon* a I walked in, one of the managers approached me to take my drink order, and by the time I grabbed my seat with the group, I turned around and there he was holding one damn good extra dirty martini. Since it's in a small strip center, parking isn't an issue. read more

I've been coming here since 2013. Lots of folks put it down because it's smoky and divey, but that's just what a lot of Cypress folks like. It's like a Cheers where there is a good network of staff and loyal customers. If you're looking for smoke free sterile bars, you might not like this place. But it's among a dying breed, and many old school smokers are tired of being treated like lepers for wanting to enjoy a cigarette with their social time. I'm more relaxed here than at any place that makes me go stand outside to smoke. If I had any gripes, I think it's time they replaced their bar tables and chairs, and overhauled the restrooms. But the drinks are good, the food is pretty decent, and the experience is worth making it a mainstay. I've met some really cool people here. read more

Ordered a bloody Mary and the bar tender said she wasnt making that because it was too busy. There were less than 20 people in the whole place and she wasn't the only bartender working. Customers are treated like an inconvenience to the employees. read more

We have been here on New Years Eve (early) and Halloween. Both times, we were merely trying to avoid midget goblins and firecrackers. We expected nothing spectacular and we were not disappointed. The Good: The bartender was cute, very nice and she made a killer (super spicy) bloody Mary. The Bad: There was little going on, the crowd seemed kind of sad. Aside from the bartender, a waitress and my wife, there wasn't a woman in the room. Just several middle aged sad guys watching some game on the TV. Positive spin? Without a doubt the worst bar I've ever been to. On two occasions I've gone out to this place after work with a few friends and both times the service has been horrible. Even when no one else is at the bar ordering a drink, the bartenders will not even acknowledge you for at least 5 minutes, because they are too busy talking to their friends and taking shots on the house, instead of actually doing any work. Not only are the staff completely incompetent, they are also outright rude and contemptuous people. They act as if doing their job is some kind of favor to you unless you're their friend, and don't even try to pretend they care about customer service. On the last occasion I went by this place, in spite of the terrible service, (because I know that bartenders basically depend on tips to make a living) I still left the bartender an over 50% tip and requested some change back when closing out. I handed her the money, and she just ignored me afterwards and did not give me my money back. I had tried to get the bartenders attention for at least another 5 minutes while she was once again talking to her friends and ignoring everything else. Finally I had to shout to get the attention of the bartender, even though there was no one else there to serve, and she was only talking to her friends. And when I once again finally had gotten the chance to ask for MY money again, she scoffs at me, and says "Oh is that what you asked? Fine, I don't even care about that much money anyway." Which also doesn't make sense because she makes pretty much her entire living off of customer tips in the first place. So when I was trying to close out, not only did this very rude employee admit to not even acknowledging anything I had said to her while she was looking directly at me, she goes on to very childishly sneer at me and was also going to just literally STEAL money from me if I had not continuously tried to pry her away from talking with her friends. I am never going back to this place again, and I advise everyone to do the same. read more

Husband and I were looking for a dive bar type to enjoy a few drinks, so we decided to give this place a try. We really enjoyed our time here, I'm not sure what the negative reviews are on the bartenders, but they were very nice and attentive. The drinks were good as well. My husband had the misfortune of someone stealing cash from him while we were here, but the staff were so helpful towards getting to the bottom of it and finding out who did it. So sure it's not a fancy top notch bar and smoky inside, but I'd say give them a try! read more

Me and my wife have been here twice and really enjoy the food and drinks. It's a little on the pricey side but its well worth it. Best Italian food in the area by far. Our waiter is great, I forget his name but he's a slim white guy with longer brown hair. Only compliant is the place smells a bit like a nail salon. Not sure if it's them or next door. read more

Well, I came here years ago and ordered the Philly cheese sandwich... It was amazing. My husband and I stopped in for lunch last week and the staff ordered out which made me really not want to eat there. In my eyes, if staff isn't willing to eat their own food the food probably isn't great... I was right. Not good at all. :/ and Philly steak wasn't in the menu anymore either. Worst place I've ever been. They should be shut down. Bar tenders and staff are rude and the drinks are not drinks ( all watered down ). When I ordered vodka cranberry I got water cranberry.
